Hello!
It's that time again.
Comment below if you'd like a chance in the raffle. This journal will be open for 24 hours
I'd also like to put out a question for the state of future raffles. Would you prefer I pick only a few people at a time but finish potentially faster or take on more clients at once at the expense of a longer wait between reopenings?
Commission Info:
Payment is preferably accepted upon the completion of a piece
Line art: $20
Flat/Cel colored picture: $45 (+$15 per additional character)
Full rendered color picture: $50 (+$20 per additional character)
Because spooky season is fast approaching, I'm also offering a deal on Halloween themed pictures!

I'm kind of indifferent on you picking more or less people. Maybe take on more, but take longer to reopen?
Yeh, I'd like a slot too! I have a sorta halloweeny idea, but I am unsure if it's up your alley or not, so I'll keep a backup idea in mind!
As far as the number of commissions you take at a time, it really should just be whatever you're comfortable with!
As for your question on future raffles... Hard to say. Can see both approaches having perceived positives from the perspective of someone hoping to get one of the slots even if in the end there's not really much difference for us.
But on your side there's the question of whether you prefer short or long queues of work ahead of you and what you're comfortable with, so feels like that's the most important part! ^^
As for your question, I'd say both options have their pros and cons, so perhaps it'd be better if you were the one to decide, depending on your current situation when there is an opening.
and personally, i'm pretty much never in any kind of hurry to get my commissions, so taking multiple at once at the expense of a longer wait is fine by me!
And no preference personally, which ever is more stable for ya would be my pick.
As for your question, either way would work, mostly comes down to preference. I personally don't mind waiting the extra time if you have a longer que, but having a smaller one could mean you get around to different people then usual. B424, just above my comment, pretty much says a lot of what I would say.
For the question, I guess I'll be echoing what some others have said. Do what you think suits you the best. It all depends on how you view the pros and cons of each.
I am unsure which system I would prefer honestly.
As for your question a few but faster also helps 2ith taking breaks so you don't burn yourself out, I think.
About your question, both options sounds ok, assuming both raffles stay open for 24h. Because of time zones I missed few of your quick raffles in the past :P
will be fun for some halloween stuff heh
as for the question well count on how diffrent it is from now since either way even with few people if someone commission a large comic it will take time anyways
As long as the raffles keep being announced beforehand and open for at least 24 hours, I don't have a preference. And hopefully there's some kind of "cooldown" thing so the same people aren't picked too frequently.
As for your question - Personally, I'd prefer more frequent raffles so more folks have the opportunity to get a slot.
Also, like some have mentioned, a cooldown for a few rounds would also be appreciated, just for greater chance and range.
Thank you very much for the opportunity, as always!
And I think I prefer the longer waits, personally!
To answer your question, I think it depends on how you feel. Are you comfortable having a long list of people in your queue? If not, maybe don’t take on more people.
also, as far as smaller or larger batches, whatever you feel works best for you.
smaller batches may feel more doable while larger ones may feel more stressful, but if you keep up at a good pace then it may come down to which kind of taking commissions on is easier for you :)
if larger list means opening less and a better workflow then that wouldn't be bad.
but if you feel more slots would be stressful then I feel the way you handle things now is ok too :)
I think either way of doing the raffles is fine by me. The chances feel the same with more raffles vs bigger raffles, at least without doing a bunch of research and math to find out what they really are.
As to your question, I prefer that you pick only a few people at a time but finish potentially faster. :3
