Okay I did not know this until today. Just shows how far out of all the loops I am.
Jack-O is a female character from the Fighting Video Game, by ARC Systems, "Guilty Gear: Xrd" and is in "Guilty Gear: Strive". Her fighting style reads a lot like Venom, a Billiards/Pool based fighter from the Guilty Gear series, and reminiscent of Gargos, specifically his Killer Instinct 3 version (Thanks Maximilian Dood for explaining that). The Challenge being set out, with the character bent down, legs spread, ass up in the air, is actually one of Jack-O regular attacks. Most of her regular fighting moves are very.... showy..? explicit? Explicit. We'll just go with that.
I am however still stymied by how it is so ubiquitously popular seemingly for no real reason, compared to other memes.
But in case you were wondering where it came from, because NO ONE has so far said themselves, that I am aware of. Here it is. As for Why? Idunno.

Is gonna be a bit unfortunate that any future art of the pose (or something similar) is gonna be associated with the meme even if that wasn't the artist's intention. I know some have drawn it way before this happened.

normies just discovered it after her reveal trailer for Xrd. She already had the same pose the previous game. Simplifying the series for casual access has its perks I suppose.
