i'm going through some personal stuff that has me unable to work (properly) for a little bit. while i can't be sedentary and try to move around/get my energy back, i do need to sleep a lot and do a lot of businessy paper bullshit/correspondence with my job and various doctors and legal entities. so the free time i have at nights after all that, i wanted to spend dusting off my old home on Myrt and reengaging with the community here. i've been pretty isolated and alienated from my own goddamn self/life for the last couple years, because of work and c*v*d (ugh... /)_u;; ) so with the pause and reevaluation, i thought it was the perfect time to come back here and sweep all the leaves n cobwebs out while i had the chance.
i just finished updating my older info and buckshotting this acct with all of the new(ish) work i had pertinent to this platform; took me a while last night but seems ready to go now. since i'm basically caught up artwise, i won't be doing that again hopefully-- stuff will come in as it's finished, and i'll be around in the community/my watches more to get this place all lubed up n working again. maybe a few things i'll toss up here and there, non-antrho/just project stuff, just to keep engagements coming in and stay up to date.
i don't wanna let either platform i'm on fall into neglect and disrepair again, since i'm only here and DA, and don't participate in much of anything that requires me to do work for other people even if it's paid/will bring in views/engagement. i'm still kinduva lone ranger in that regard, and it hurts my visibility and success online i know i know people have told me lol 9//9;
it does feel good to be back, though. i've missed the particular energy of FA a lot, even since i came back to DA three years ago after being gone there too. feels good to be seeing people's art again, ones i knew before and new people also. i'm glad this place still has so much activity, and people are still generally so personable and approachable, and there's lots of comments on stuff. discussion vs faves and even views-to-faves has kind of shifted with the winds of etiquette on DA, so i'll keep FA as my 'summer home' and place to hangout with other weirdos. :V i also really, really, really wanna do polished fet/NSFW stuff now that i'm back drawing again! seeing so much cool quality styuff has me in the mood for it and i haven't done much with this project's cast yet, at least visually; there is absolutely enough of it in the story XD so when i'm able to do that, even though it'll be mostly homind/non-anthro and probably doodledumps as well as finished work, expect it to come here (DA'll get shafted with the clean/prev versions)
