Hey guys! Just wanted to let ya know that we’ve decided to release our Sonic fan game Chronicles of Acorn to play and try out now! We were hoping to do a lot more before putting out a playable Alpha, because it is still very raw and unfinished, but we and others put a lot into the character sprites, character art, music, maps, and battle mechanics, and it’s been sitting awhile now just collecting dust, so we figured why not! Seems like a waste to just let it sit without being played!

Hey, I think that’s still as far as the build goes. You must have played awhile back eh Maarons. Blazeymix is workin on finishing up more now, working on the Fiona section, ep 3. We pretty much had it done awhile back, but her harddrive got fried a year or so ago and she lost a lot of the progress, that’s what slowed us last year or so. Sucked losing all we had, lost a lot of gas that day. But we’re back at it, she’s pretty determined to get a new build soon.

I only played last weekend when Blazeymix dropped that journal advertising to join the discord to play. Was super hooked on it and the came to the dead end thinking it was bugging or I seriously missed something and went the wrong way.

Ah, ya, there was a credits scene there letting people know it was the end, but lost that version when the drive was fried. Sorry for the confusion, Blazey is workin on a new build, it’ll be a lot less raw and open.

Well I was enjoying the Hell out of it. But I would offer some feedback, during the dialogue scenes, some extra poses/expressions would be a good idea else you have Sally smiling like an ad model during serious or dire moments. Kinda odd.

Ya, that was the plan, but that was all on me to get done, just takes time, time I don’t really have. I wanted to get a few more characters done first, cause Knothole needs the NPC’s before we can finish it, but probably should just get a few expressions done first, then at least the scenes we have are less jarring.
