Man, it's been a couple of heckin' months...
Between making regular postings to Twitter (or, alas, trying to between moments), personal developments, and new friendships, August was a month. In summary:
-> My brother tested positive for COVID August 12th. I got sick the 15th from him, and spent two weeks out of work.
-> My car battery died the same day he tested positive (the 12th), needing replacement.
-> My grandmother tested positive for COVID August 17th. She passed away August 27th. Her graveside service was the 31st.
-> Others in my family were positive for COVID and a few of my friends tested positive and are in recovery.
In the ways of artwork and concepts, there's been a few developments:
-> Hexatexime and Fibroscurix are finally getting some concept work done. The lore docs were wip for a while but I hashed them enough for beast conceptualizations.
-> A couple of other pieces for Hexatexime are en-queued for future progress.
-> Sliger are gonna be getting a reference sheet! Simple slimy species, they are, but after a half-year of waiting and a small revamp, time to show their beautiful, simple selves.
-> Fun pieces with friends that are presently in the works, a couple involving bondage, others involving suits, and even a comic or two.
-> Two new character concepts for characters called Nexus, a daemic beast contrived from a human's torture, and Eronsilius, a sentient goo-imbued dragonoid mask.
Where I'm standing right now:
-> I got my license, so I can drive places finally... Albeit I've been wanting to stay home a lot more to rest.
-> Lots of artwork en-queue for completion this month, next month, and mayhaps into November. A couple of pieces are lingering from early 2021.
-> Looking forward to potentially posting some concepts/lore docs as stuff is hashed and finalized.
-> Getting some artwork uploaded for ShinyRubberPuro , since I've taken on a semi-manager role with him to help organize and keep stuff up-to-date on his FA. Check him out.
-> Readjusting to get back into full-swing for my work.
To anyone that's favorited, commented, watched, or otherwise subscribed to my content through FA/Twitter, thank you a ton! It means a lot that, even as a commissioner, you're all enjoying the works I'm putting out. I hope you'll all love the concepts and lore that I intend to release out into the world and the beautiful pieces alongside them. It's gonna be a fun month this month to make up for August!
