Gracious, that's an all-around win as far as moves go! 😯💙
Hmmmmm this is true. I would live there just for the air races lol. You will probably have to hop over the Sierra Mountains or head East to Phoenix for any big conventions tbh. I haven't heard of anything in your area *but* the desert is the birthplace of creativity. I'm sure, if nothing else, a few furs meet up out in nature for camping under the stars and that sort of thing.
Ah, well, I've never been to a convention before: I'm mostly up for stuff like weekly meets and monthly meets. (they're cheaper and you get to actually know people :B )
But yeah, this has been a good move. :D
Ahhh I hear you. I have been to Bayoucon which was furry friendly but not centered on the fandom. Outside of that, the bigger cons are kind of a mystery. It's wonderful that you have had some time for the weekly and monthly meets! As you have pointed out, it's easier to get to know people there and the cost isn't too much compared to the big events. :)
It's also hard to find furries here since none of them are using furmap. >w>
But my roommate is good, and I still have all my online friends, so that's good. :3
Though, it seems, as far as I can tell, that there aren't any friendly furry events/groups here in Reno. Ah well. uwu

Absolutely! Online friends are the best. :D
Who knows. Maybe your roomie will hop with you to the local meetups some day

Thank you for the link! Now I can find people to talk to out in the wild too. :)
