For the past couple years my work output has been 1 big piece every couple of months.

But when i got really inspired during july (artfight), i was doing a lot more finished pieces in a smaller time frame. I think this really aggravated my hand cause from my thumb to my elbow really BURNED like heck. And at work, bagging people items was also hurting ridiculously.

I bought a small compress glove for some small support. Now I've started doing some stretches/exercises with my thumb.

Its been on and off bad. Somedays are fine, or it wont hurt till evening.
Is this what tendonitis is like? :c it seems like it happened all at once, but maybe its because i really have no muscles to support me. Maybe it never got to this point because of all the rest i took between art pieces.
Maybe because i slowed my pace down when it comes to making art, did inlose stamina?

Also on topic of physical pain, I've been getting semi frequent headaches.; It might be because i need a new eye prescription, that has been a cause of migraines for me growing up. I just had a 3 day long headache and it was terrible :'c. Sometimes i still feel slightly achey like it might lapse back into it again, but I've been good so far!!!

Trying to find a good way to rest and still make art! I really did want to go back to making more art frequently.

I know I've been pretty dead on here, turns out i go through some pretty heavy artblocks almost yearly (I've finally realized/acknowledged lol)
I've been using zine projects as a way to propel myself to make art. It works for the most part and i really do love the zines I've applied for, they also push me to create backgrounds.

2018 was a real doozy, personal-life wise. Things are much better in that aspect, and with the weather getting nicer im hoping it will make me more energized and motivated to draw more often. I'll try to create more personal art and sketches (maybe more a quantity over quality thing to get back into it?)

Last summer i got a sceen tablet, doing linework is so much faster and easier on it!! I love it!!

Sorry i went through one of those 'away from FA' phases.
The only activity for the past 6ish months has been me trying to sell the shit out of charas i dont use anymore (and even ones i wanted to keep but needed money)

I was in a really tough financial spot and honestly, FA/toyhouse helped me power through the worst of it.


The other reason i dont post much on here is...well. what i've been drawing lately has taken a great shift. I hardly draw anthros anymore.

I really got into Voltron (ahah) and draw a ton of that, and mostly just non anthro things.
I guess i did that before too, but now thats what i /solely/ do < :3c

I was just driving normally, it's night, goin the residential speed limit

And he said" I just got off I'm fine" somthin like that ans started walking away with his bike??? I'm in the middle of this small neighborhood intersection just staring at him with my jaw dropped not knowing what just happened . He's just strolling away. Omfg... I've never been so scared.

but I've been getting my days Mixed up. On Sunday for most of the day in thought it was Monday. And I had s worn for the past couple weeks that the 5th WAS A WEDNESDAY BUT ITS ACTUALLY TOMORROW.
And I have a driver's test.
And I'm going to be taking over my parents old car they don't use as of recently, so I requested to see the little insurance card I'd have to show the instructor, ONLY TO FIND THAT ALL OF OUR CARS DON'T HABE THE UPDATED S CARDA LMAO??? Searches all over the house can't find them. Online copies don't count it has to be the card sooo.

We had to ask our nice neighbors if we could use their car. SighsSs

I'm going back and forth about being positive and negative about all this

A little more than half my attempts at paralleling are really good, so I hope when I do it it will be one of my better ones uuuUUUGHHH

I really did bust to get the assignments in. Even though I really did suck for mostly ALL of them.
The instructor is really nice ;____;
and when I told him my circumstances at midterms he became very lenient through the rest of the quarter.
Also, on my part, I actually contacted him. I sucked up my social anxiety and called him on the phone.
And he just called me back again giving me an update on where my grade was after he graded my late work, and since it's not a milestone class (meaning you have to pass with a C or higher) I can scrape by!!!

I could barf rainbows and glitter i'm so HAPPY AND RELIEVED. I had a major break down and kind of an acceptance moment that I would fail.
My grandpa even called me to say that even if I failed that they would not be less proud of me, and that I have my whole life ahead and that it doesn't matter, I could take it again. and not to worry about disappointing them or my parents. ect ect ; __ ;
I actually really needed to hear that because I've been keeping my failing all to myself, its just one of my fears to end up a failure to my family, and I guess anybody. and the stress was just eating me from the inside out, and all my levels across the board were being dragged down.

I'm so strung out. I think i'm going to be held back.
