New Workstation is Set Up
Posted 8 months agoNot that this makes a big difference to anybody here. It means I'll be active around here again, though I try to keep my presence concise and (relatively) tasteful.

FA Restored!
Posted 12 months agoI'm back into my FA account!
For whatever reason, after the hijack I couldn't even attempt to sign-in. My credentials were fine, but the login page straight-up wouldn't do anything.
After some time, trying different browser setups every few days, it finally worked. Hello!

2024
Posted a year agoHappy new year, everyone!
The future seems more uncertain than it's ever been. What doesn't change is my own eccentricities and fascinations. As far as I know, I'll still be here posting in my silly little niche, both what I make and what I request from others.
One thing I'd like to change is how slow and methodical I've been about posting. It usually takes me a while to gestate an idea, and I have a tendency to only cultivate the ones which let me showcase new territory.
The thing is, that's not why I made this account. I didn't join to make a portfolio of my abilities, I joined so I could indulge in and share the things I enjoy!
To summarize, I'm hoping to relax a bit and make my 2024 here a fun one. What would you like to see on that front?
I've made a poll on Patreon if you would like to answer in a more guided way - you don't need to subscribe to answer.

Alternate Versions and Patreon
Posted 2 years agoWould my viewers here be upset if I left the alternate edits of my uploads on Patreon? I don't overly enjoy reposting a pic multiple times for small edits, and on Patreon I can include them in the post itself as attachments. This is much more ideal, but adult content on Patreon must be restricted to paid users. This would essentially create a paywall for the alternate versions.
These alts are not large changes--there will be no "subscribe to my Patreon for the Spicy Version" or the like.
Feel free to suggest another means to deal with this!

Itaku
Posted 2 years agoIt's been a while since I'd seen an art platform pop up which isn't a more obscure, worse implementation of an existing one. They often have limitations which prevent someone like me from making proper use of it.
I heard about Itaku from an artist I follow, and as far as its premise and its mission go, it seems to be barking up the right trees. It's content-focused, it's got rules that make sense, it has a tag blacklist.
My only question is if it actually has a viable future. I've seen other sites which showed promise in terms of features, but a stagnation in the meager userbase I've no idea how to resolve. Do you think Itaku is worth picking up? Do you, reader, see yourself becoming a regular user of it? What are some pros and cons you can point out?

[Closed] 100th Watcher Event
Posted 2 years agoThe first milestone I consider worthy of a mention!
Anyone already watching me, comment on this if you're interested in appearing in a celebration pic and subsequently being added to the roster of subjects available for future content. Depending on what kind of turnout this gets, I may do a group image or pick someone randomly from the list.
Regardless of what does or doesn't happen regarding this raffle-alike, here's to more watch-worthy uploads for you all!

To a Foxy New Year!
Posted 2 years agoThis marks the start of what could be my first fully-active year as a fully-active dweller in the furspace of the web. I'm hoping to make it a good one, but what would make it good for you? To any who have been enjoying my stuff, what did I do right and what do you want to see more of?
More importantly though, I just want to celebrate another year of have decent health and relative stability in my own life. 2022 has been a rough year for much of the world. So closely seeing how much worse it could have been makes me all the more grateful what I have.
Here's to wishes that this coming year and those after it are safer and more peaceful for all than '22 has been. 🥂

Casting Call: Nevrean, Fandom-Friendly/Non-Canon
Posted 3 years agoI'm looking for someone whose primary furry identity is that of mick39's Nevrean. It helps if you have interest in the topics featured in my gallery, but there are others available as well. We can narrow down specifics!
Those with Nevrean OC's are welcome to respond as well, but it's not exactly what I'm after.

Patreon
Posted 3 years agoYeah. Patreon. For those wanting to exchange a tip here for a render there, it's better than nothing at all. If you want to contribute for its own sake, that's cool too, but I don't intend to make it a rewards-oriented platform. Ideally, someone who never subscribes to me on there won't miss out on anything.
The main difference is that renders there will be in higher resolution as Furaffinity compresses them down and has a smaller filesize limit. I might use it for polls and other feedback interactions if I get a big enough audience there to warrant it.
If you want to talk about getting your request put on priority via payment, that is how we have to go about it for the time being. I know it's not ideal.
Overall, you should see the same sort of upload pattern as if Patreon wasn't there.
See ya here or see ya there.

How do we do business for this kind of content?
Posted 3 years agoPeople have expressed interest in supporting me for what I've done so far. I'm a little surprised, and a lot flattered.
I wanted to offer something in return for such support. Then, I ran into a problem: A lack of safe places for me to do so. I looked around a lot, but found few services that would allow a simple one-time donation. None of these allowed NSFW. Please let me know if you have any suggestions.
I'm probably going to make a Patreon. I'm against the subscription model, so I'll avoid sleazy BS with it where I can.
Ko-fi is a standard, but they have strict rules against NSFW. They explicitly prohibit the linking of your Ko-fi profile from "adult" websites and the like.
I considered FA Shinies, but allowing your PayPal to be traced to your FA means you could get zapped for having bought or sold commissions via the same; such things are against PayPal's policies.
In short, the only services I could find were subscription-based, and Patreon seems to be the most accessible.
