Hello! So as a heads up im planning on having an extended time for doing October commissions with the holidays taking priority with the commission slots chosen. These will include:

Dressups
Monster themes
General Spookyness
(And fall 🍁)

They will also be done during September to allow more time to work on more kinds of October stuff as well. Stay tuned for the opening later this week!

I’m as ready as I’ll ever be. Commissions will be opening later this month, prices won’t change yet and I plan on having some more things to try out and implement in and out the canvas as I study more. Commission Streams may be on the burner though I’ll have to get more acclimated to drawing on streams than before – I felt my quality dip all around whenever I tried about 60% of the time and I’d like for that to diminish. Unsure if it’s my lack of focus or just not matching the mood but it’s to troubleshoot.

As for life offline it’s just going day by day, trying to stay above the water and have a good headspace. Not necessarily having much exciting going on, aside from bizarre health issues I've never gotten before greeting me back to back. Not the excitement I'm looking for. My life is pretty boring, mostly has been. But who knows, I may be lurking at a con this year to liven up a bit. Saving money is a goal that I started late last year (well, for a while actually, just not in a formal manner) and I intend to expand on that some more so I can eventually be on my own if I ever can.

The support means a whole lot to me and I appreciate those who have commissioned, donated, and advised to help me grow as an artist here. I don’t expect to stop anytime soon :)

I wanna get some october/orctober/whatever ideas out while there's time left and don't mind it pressing past November (what gives with that month anyways pft (im just in it for the food)) before getting ready for holidays. So I thought while I caught COVID for the 2nd time ever, I could work on commissions in the meantime and guess what? I couldn't ( i barely could ( lol ) ). Granted I had a bit more energy than the first time I caught it but it still wasn't much and did what I could.

Due to how that affected time and plans changing across the board I'm gonna try this new approach of extended commission openings again on a later date but probably sticking to how I've done it before after this.

Hey all, here's an update as well to basically say I'm doing somewhat alright despite some major changes that came around late this year that did some damage but I'm pulling through.

Ever so slowly, I'm migrating myself off of Twitter mostly because of it's fuckups and the risk of my account being locked, which has happened twice before, once with a header image being InNaPrOpRiAtE, and the other with Authentication over a fucking name change to say the status of my commissions and the system lumped me into a group of actual phishing/scam accounts on accident. I don't feel like playing games with a site with ridiculous logic locking me out of a place of contacting clients so I'm making my move more on here and Bluesky.

I'm going to also push further outside the box next year in terms of experimenting with things I haven't set solid ground on because I just feel stagnant in some places. This includes areas such as themed sets of art, prints, and other technical subjects I need to touch on more like perspectives, backgrounds, etc. With variables considered, my commission rates will probably change in the future but not right now.

As well as this, I was considering (for years (like, a lot) ) a Patreon but unsure if that's baggage i want to overburden myself with. My deadlines are inconsistent but having a monthly set up may fine tune the quality of what's pushed and gives y'all what you want. There are other projects as well I'm involved in along with trying out other cons to lurk around... so we'll see what 2024 holds.

Did I mention I was at my first ever con, BLFC? It was pretty rad. I may try another con out once I learn more information and gather myself to attempt another social place and the right resources. Anyways, good holidays and all that jazz.
