I'm not getting on tumblr until it removes the shot from its foot of removing nsfw content from the feed though I'm sure it's rotten by now after all these years. And I'm way too lazy to make another FA with a correct username though that's very tempting to do, believe my impatience of a longly awaited username change feature.

Commission Alternatives, Updates, & Socials
Posted 3 years agoSince twitter people think anything remotely suspicious equates to a meteor hurdling to crush the world of the internet, users are sprawling elsewhere. I get some anxiety for content creators since that's a primary source of curating traction and business as well, though some suggest to not have all your ducks in one place. I'm not even considering Tumblr right now since their algorithm of removing your own content is still confusing SFW as NSFW and got tired of that, Twitter's slowly doing the same.
From what I understand, Mr. Musky Moneybags laid off almost 4,000 twitter workers and is possibly charging for user verification at some point in his agenda of ruining the platform and until then, I'm not budging anywhere. Honestly, I've been more concerned about P.al.Pay's sudden increase of banning accounts and locking their funds away lately and thinking of what else to use until then. I heard commissio was alright and Stripe? I'm unsure what's commonly used with commissions so I'm open to suggestions as I research.

Update (Life, Art, Commissions)
Posted 3 years agoHeya, lots of stuff being changed all over.
I got a new job that feels much better than the last, not only will it fix my nightly habits (not entirely) but it'll fix the routine that was a detriment to my health physically and (especially) mentally. This also changes my art hours so it'll take a bit to condition my self to the new schedule and I can finally learn to pace myself a bit more consistently with personal art and commissions on the side.
Other than that big change, I'm gonna try to pick up new skills for art and game design over the summer. Planning maybe UI elements for streams, pixel art again, more animation projects and motion graphics, stuff like covers for character themes, the VN I'm helping with, plus my own worldbuilding. Along with this I can finally plan out some traveling and long term goals to advance myself. Also with offline events happening and reorganizing, I might not be as active. Was also considering a Patreon since last year but I'm still overthinking its structure outside of it being a tip jar. Speaking of, I do use my Ko-fi still.
That's all I got goin' on for now, it's been a while since an update but the stagnancy and daily repetition really took a toll plus thinking ahead in the future being bleak and that was before all the mess happening lately. So I'm glad this will be the first step out the mud and help my productivity a bit and to think more positive.

Update (Art Stuff, Commissions, Sickness)
Posted 4 years agoMan. Being sick sucks. Fun trivia: I'm that guy in the family that never gets sick or breaks bones, etc. Like, ever. But 2021 scoffed at my good immune streak lately. Laughed, even. Called it pathetic.
First I had a stomach bug. That was fun. Then two weeks ago I've gotten acute bronchitis which i've not gotten for yeaaars. It's still there, could've been from the covid scare from earlier this year, and bronchitis just, takes its sweet ass time leaving your body unlike most other things you can catch that dies off in a couple days to a week.
However I'm now getting signs of eye infection which hurts when seeing bright lights or certain things on device screens. So I'm gonna ease off from art for a few days or do what I can on very dim canvases.
Speaking of which, I've gotten a good chunk of halloween commissions through and enjoyed the ideas. I was planning to take one more from the current set before moving onto another set of commissions for Orctober submissions but this sickness that's been graciously blessed on my body is telling me to stop enjoying what I do or else I will feel pain. Other than the current commission I'm working on now I am fine pausing here until later when I recover.
Maybe I'll have orc themed commissions come up once this blows over hopefully before the end of the month but for now I'll have to recover. My rates will also change later down the road leading into next year. More on that later.

Update w/Commission Tweaks (Rates, Contacting, Feedback)
Posted 4 years agoHey all. So, I got sick 2 weeks ago and had to quarantine. Then I used said time to try and gather some research and feedback from people while hunting for a better job that wouldn't put my ass at risk for a 2nd round of covid. (Also, PSA, it exists. I've gotten the chance of experiencing the milder symptoms that are still lingering even though I feel much better to work again. It's not fun to think of being a carrier that brought it to your folks or better yet, possibly ending your life at any time of the duration. So yeah, don't catch it.) Which was why I had to abruptly halt taking on commission work. But I'm able to continue working again and feeling better at least physically!
Wow, thank you for the feedback on that survey! It's insightful towards what to work on absolutely. I want to get better with what I usually do but to learn some brand new/revisit projects to broaden skills a bit. Sprite work was fun so be on the lookout for that :) The good thing is that half of the criticism were things I was aware of and questioned sometimes so at least my overthinking was on the right page. Other comments brought things to light I never realized or took into consideration as much as other areas (lighting, perspectives, backgrounds especially) and gotta work on them a bit more! A few other things too, but I'm very glad to get this input to try some more methods towards.
I'm also adjusting some stuff with commissions across the board which I'm opening later before this month ends if all goes well. I think I rush them out because a week on and off to me felt like I was taking too long, thus I panic, stress out, feel like I'm horrible, and need to give it up already like some missed deadline. Some said I work fast. And honestly, from looking at the dates where I start the commission, they were right. I only spent a couple of days to nearly a week on and off on most of them. I've even felt the other end of buying commissions myself and notice people take weeks to months usually to ensure everything is fine or their life schedule's too busy. Considering that, I definitely will spend less time thinking I take too long and more time towards working. Sometimes it still takes but a few days to knock a commission out if it feels right and the art drive feels strong but I gotta take at least a week or so. I've noticed even in some wips of my own I told myself right at the submit screen to stop and spend an extra day to get away from it, which is a very hard habit to do. Lo and behold, I come back and find errors or areas to adjust immediately and it feels so much better.
Rates: There'll be a slight discount for rates in the additional content for those wanting extra characters, props, and other extra stuff under the sketch categories.
Communicating: So, I've not a clean way of notifying those who've submitted forms if they've not received a slot. That's on me and I apologize for those who still wonder if I've gotten to them or not if they've not asked me beforehand on status. I'm currently gonna find some way to lop off the form entries, choose from there and notify the others. Prooobably Trello, (stunning revelation, I know) the service where I was like "cool, I'll try this out for sure to manage my status!" and...well, didn't. I receive a lot of forms sometimes when I least expect it, like, in double-digits, and it gets pretty messy trying to find and tell people if they're chosen one by one in short time frames. Which leads to...
Contacting: Please make sure in the contacting field your twitter username/profile name or FurAffinity Username works. It sucks when there's a cool idea that fits the bill of what I'd do and I can't find you no matter how I tried altering the submitted name on both sites so I have to zap the form away. I'm not gonna have emails in the mix as I'm only looking through these two sites currently.
Telegram Group??: I've dawdled on things like this for a while, even considered somewhere like Patreon. A hub to toss wips to satisfy my impulse posting or commission updates to keep everything in one place but knowing me, I'd probably be bad at that. Though from the art groups I've started to lurk through, I can see how cool it is to just toss shit up or hold commissions/polls/updates there.

Posted 5 years agoI'm going to open commission forms later this week, and things will be different for the set coming after that!
I will hold the set after this for October events (orctober, halloween, yadda yar). Regular ones will still be there but the event ones will take priority when choosing them.
Also, I post updates about streams and commission openings waaay more frequently on Twitter, a monster fucker twitter for more Orc and Monster content and making an attempt on Pillowfort. There's also a new furry site as well but I'm way too lazy to repost my stuff constantly across so many places for now lol.
Things will change soon, too. My openings won't be as sporadic and I may try to have them on a scheduled basis since I'm job hunting for something more Full Time towards what I went to school for and more life skills to develop. A lot to juggle in little time and we all know time doesn't give a shit about slowing down any time soon. So I have to make some changes and better myself before things get worse.

Taking a break from commissions, finally got as much as I could done to catch myself up and I'm fucking burnt out right now. Probably for a couple weeks or so until I open up again, maybe sooner. I need to get some personal life matters together and complete some projects of my own. Currently out of a depressive episode and on the move to upgrade myself from laptop to desktop and searching for a better job.
But enough about that stuff. It's Halloween.

Some are kinda cautious about it because of the whole thing around NSFW creators having accounts marked off of their sites, solely because they do NSFW only and they don't want to endorse such behaviors (like, okay lol), but it's for donating support to a content creator.

2019 is Here! Updates
Posted 6 years agoHello to you all, I hope you had a good new year! It’s a new year for new beginnings and I’m ready to procrastinate do them all! I’m planning on traveling a bit out of state and looking for good opportunities life and job-wise so I can get out of my current state of living. It’s a bit trying for me mentally to reside where I currently am and in order for me to progress, I have to get myself out of my local scene. I genuinely feel like getting out of one’s hometown relieves a LOT of stress, mentalities, and helps one explore life.
This leads to the socializing aspect, I’ve been somewhat busy trying to balance work and talking and it’s still being a pain. I have such a limitation to my time trying to talk and home life hasn’t been so well with me to the point where it feels like I regressed in the social department. Everyone moved out, the school scene was over, I needed to help my relatives financially and I took two dead end jobs unrelated to my career to make ends meet, hell, I’m still there. It didn’t really help that some people who got back to me talked about how well they were doing and never stopped mentioning those comments though I guess some social topics are hard to start without mentioning where one currently is in life. Some old friends fell out of touch while others made me realize they weren’t..really friends at all, more of acquaintances and that’s putting it nicely. So local-wise, I have nothing here. It combined so many emotions of depression, anger, confusion, isolation, being repressed, that it really shut me down for the last half of the year and I didn’t want to speak or do much at all. Once that dawned on me at some point a few months back, it felt like I was making no progress and it reset my social skills like a button. I overthought much more, I never really thought my take on others in conversation did much and I centered things around myself (even though it was never like that when I asked to be sure so that’s probably just me), and I had little to no motivation to advance further. It reminds me of those scenes in movies where at dinner parties people have that verbal dick measuring contest of where they are in life with how good their jobs are, who they’re getting lucky with, and all that mess while you’re just there being the best shitty base of comparison to make them look good. I think I may be out of that shitty slump though it comes and goes. I’m so out of place and I need to get back in the picture.
Not only will I do this traveling for a better chance at getting a decent job and life, but it will also be for socializing. You might catch me at a convention for the first time ever ~ but it feels like there is so much to consider and plan ahead of time with badges, hotel reservations, flights, so on so forth and that’s excluding the things to set aside at home. I only know of the MFF con and some other one but it’ll require some digging to know where I’d like to go for my first kind of con!
I’ll be experimenting more with different kinds of art as well. I’m still kinda searching for what suits me more and how to be consistent with it. I like the sharp lineart and some bit of cel shading mixed with rendering but at the same time it feels strong when I just go with minimal cel shading. Could be my indecisiveness coming into question as usual so I should just turn my brain off and work. This also includes possible projects which includes comic panels, environments, conceptual works, animations, pixel art, and storyboards. In between working and being distracted offline I have been looking at courses and resources to help me understand how things look the way they do, how to establish form, the process of creating things, etc. I’ve applied them around some pieces and wips and I need to step out of my comfort zone to get better at the areas I shy away from!
Along with art, I want to do more commission work utilizing what I learned. The commissions feel pretty great overall from last year and its natural for me to keep challenging myself and bring more to the table. I’ll have my first batch open soon sometime this month, and spread the word about it.
Speaking of this month, this is a crazy fast time. My birthday is coming in a week! Everytime I blinked it just felt like BOOM Christmas, BOOM new year, BOOM youre old! I’m not prepared..but I’ll take it.
That’s pretty much covering what’s happening recently. I’m glad I’m gathering a lot of new people here to look at my art and whatnot, it pushes me forward and I thank you all. Barely do I ever make those kinds of thankful statements but it truly does mean a lot that I have a lot of supporters. So for that, a million thanks from the depths of my demonic heart <3

I got a bit of free time right now to do some commission work with the summer theme I planned to do. I wanted to do 4 slots at a time but I got 2 open for now. As for the YCHs I want them to be monthly. If not then I'll figure something out.
I've mentioned in the past that my prices would change to a few people and I'm going to produce an updated price sheet during the summer. Same goes for the different options I'll have available like busts, toned sketches, icons, etc.
As for art in general I aim to do way more out of my comfort zone to improve ranging from all sorts of areas. Along with this, I was deciding for a few months if I wanted to make shirt designs and whatnot. I don’t really have much going on for my personal projects because I’m so inconsistent and shy of bringing closure to ideas but I figured apparel stuff would be one solution until I do more. Eh. Other than that life’s okay. I gotta upload more stuff when I get the chance.

NEWS--Summer Beach Commission Slot & YCH

I'm gonna try out some themed commissions, this being a summer beach theme.
1 YCH and 1 Slot commission
YCH will have its details in the post and I'll have the one slot open now
I'll do these journals when I've completed the previous commissions. I'll try to do them in pairs.
