Posted 9 years agoIt is not a normal thing.
Sometimes I wish I could just change everything about myself and fit in like every sheep.
I do not find general “guy things” interesting so there is this abundance of disconnect with anyone male. I am not interested in pissing contests, how a sport player is doing in some sport that men throw themselves absolutely into, or an abundanceof other guy things that just bore me. Not to mention that the crudeness of most men I find abhorrent. So I am disconnected from 48% of America.
Now on the same subject of obsession with something/someshow, I just don’t get obsessed over anything like you do. So that show you know all the names of everyone and every show they did (and most likely what they ate for breakfast), I just don’t nor care. That anime, game, sport, etc etc. Yea I liked watching it but I won’t be obsessing over it. You wont find my room plastered with any one show. You wont find me playing the same song over and over on repeat. So I am disconnecting from a high percent of people.
Let’s talk film because Americans love film. Most of Americans if the movie has a bunch of flash and boom to it will go see it. Will even praise it for how wonderful the film was. I wish I was so easy to please. Movies are supposed to be getting better and better. However because people will see a movie with no plot or watch a series that has no plot for an entire season, it has created this storm of bad shows. I however can’t stand it. So people raving about how wonderful these things are just make me raise an eyebrow. I sadly don’t agree and praise the show like it was wonderful when I thought it was full of plot holes and lacked any substance.
So that makes me look cynical or like I am above them. I laughed to myself as I wrote this because one of my biggest problems of late is the disconnect I have with people because I have standards. Oh how I feel like a wolf among sheep because I expect quality when I pay for something. Or that I have morals and standards I stand by.
Even in my own family I am the odd one out.
One side of my family is laid back and the other side uptight. I am caught somewhere in the middle. I am not so uptight I fit in the side that thankless of everyone and believe just about everything is wrong. But then again I am not so “laid back” to think teaching a little kid to call black people niggers or complacency in life is an ok thing. I am caught in the middle thing of not fitting in very long with either side. Each side thinking I would fit better on the otherside.
I could go on and on about different things like these. Basically a black sheep has it hard. They have to be independent because truthfully they are just a lone wolf in a black sheep skin. They have to travel alone because they don’t fit in with anyone’s pack. They can put on the skin and try for a while but soon it starts to be obvious to the sheep that something is off. Even with the sheep analogy, sheep and wolves alike are like humans in the fact that deep down they want to be close to their own kind. They want to love and be near. But they are different. A lifetime only isolates them more to the point they learn to hide more in a fake skin.
The reason I write this is for a few reasons. People may think “Oh you can change all that” or “That’s not the worst thing it could be”. Sigh which sadly I guess if we were trying to compare it cancer might be true but this isn’t a comparison thing. It’s not to get attention or troll for compliments. It’s just statements to make people understand that I am different. Sometimes I wish I could be the same as 99.9% of the world so that I could laugh full heartily at the poopoo joke you laughed at, or fall endlessly into obsessing what color underwear Norman Reedus was wearing today.
The fact is that I might not talk to you but on occasion. It’s not that I don’t consider you my friend. Hell I may even consider you one f my closest friends, but the simple fact is that I am different. On a good day it never even crosses my mind because I am who I am. But on bad days it would be nice to know that everyone that is a “friend” gets it. That when I do put on my sheep skin and come to talk to you that you just overlook what color it is.

Yes I know my art isnt great. I just do this as a hobby. I have a lot of artist friends and it doesnt taking being a master to tell you that you drew six fingers on your human or that your perspective is off. A second set of eyes never hurt. I have helped a lot of artists get better over the years and I am never above helping an aspiring artist further their education.

So here is my idea.
I want to practice some faces and expressions.
I also want to have a lot to choose from. Might be full color. Might just be a sketch.
So here is what you do.
Make a journal advertising bout it or just tell your friends.
Now its not mandatory to advertise but it would help me out.
The more art I have to pick from the actual more likely I am to draw more characters. Keeps me interested

Hello all you little pieces of shit out there!!!!!
I have missed talking to some of you but life has been life. Unlike some of the people who have no life off of the computer, school has made it that way for me.
Fuck I miss those sunglasses.....the ones in the picture were the second!!! pair in a month that either broke or got lost.....
Anyways School has been taking up I would say 33% of my time.
Its tough and well I HAVE to pass ya know. I am started to get into all the fun things to learn about things and its fun to have to figure things out and think on your toes.

When I typed this up Dallas has been living with me for 64days 16hours 26minutes and I have been loving almost every moment of it. Hell even the bad times I look back on and smile because she was by my side.
This of course is were MOST my time goes.
I know a lot of people like to throw out how in love they are and get all mushy but I dont need you all puking on your computer screens cus of the cuteness overload. I will leave that up to whenever you meet us in person.

This picture was taken when Dallas took me to the Emergency room. The nurse (who was horrible at starting IVs) had just given me a dose of Morphine (my first time). On an intelectual level it was so much fun looking back. I was in pain like 10/10 on the scale and could barely think straight. He gives it to me. It takes a little bit but I can feel the burn enter into my vien then suddenly my extremities just start tingling. My head gets a little fuzzy like I am suddenly drunk. The pain didnt just disapear though, it was like someone was turning it down slowly till there wasnt any pain. Of course I wouldnt move for a minute cus it makes you feel like the pain might suddenly come back. This picture they had given me some dye to drink for the CT scan.
Basically I have Gallstones (dont confuse them with kidney stones, you dont pee these out) and I will have to have surgery at some point this month to get them removed.
All and all just comes to me not eating FAT (like beef or chicken fat, so like fat fat, I can have sugar) and I can not have SPICY FOODS, omg I miss my spicy foods. Also I dont eat too late now, which is horrible for a night owl.
This entire time Dallas was right by my side, taking care of me. True Love.

I am thoroughly impressed with what I finished recently. Its mainly due to Dallas that I finished it though, and TOTALLY her fault to get me to color it. She encouraged me the entire way of me studying Mayhems head and then drawing that drawing.
Expect more to come as I get free time to actually draw.
On that note of getting time to draw. My art challenge to myself and anyone else that feels like doing it is adding as much small details into your art as you can without messing up your drawing. Examples to follow:

In the beginning the creator did not make anthros, he made Angels, Magnificent creatures that in itself rivaled the creator himself. Though as magnificently beautiful and powerful as they were they were not created with one thing. The will to choose. The creator grew bored after time and like an artist began to create something new. The angels watched on in wonder as each day he created something new. On the final day of his artistic act heaven gasped as he created anthros.
These new creatures were fragile but so much like them. They looked beautiful in their simplicity that heaven wept. Each day after was a new marvel as they watched on. Lucifer watched in amazement but was first to notice something different. These new creatures did not praise the creator like all the angels did. These two little creatures were given a world by the creator but did not drop to their knees in praise. For once Lucifer was saddened. This in itself was the first fall of him. "They must not know of him" He thought to himself. That could be the only reason. They don’t know of the creator, it was obvious to him that just as we angels had been watching them and not interacting so had the creator.
Lucifer found this hurt him deep inside. To not know of the creators magnificence and what he did for them. Taking wing he flew from heaven with speed only known to those of the astral plane. Fearing that his form so like but unlike theirs would scare them he took the form of a creature he first laid eyes upon. It was long and slithered about. He thought this was fitting enough as he saw the larger breasted one away on a walk. Winding himself around a tree waiting for her to pass he created fruit on the tree. He filled it with all the wisdom of everything that was. Pouring his very essence into it so that it turned red and ripened with knowledge.
As she approached he spun his words so that she would listen intently. In her eyes he could see that she was amazed. That she hungered for the knowledge that he laid before her. Giving her to the choice to choose the apple. During this interaction something changed inside him. Choice. What was this that he offered her? Why didnt he just hand her the apple. This was the birth of choice. Angels did not choose before this, they just followed. His mind was swimming with the thoughts of how different this concept was. He slithered away midsentence and left the woman to her choice.
He knew that his brothers and sisters watched all he had done. Some of them had seen what he did and they themselves were now questioning. As he arrived back at the gates of heaven he was greeted with a wave of anger. The creator was furious with him. His own brother, His twin that was created along with him joined in with fury at him. Angels up to this point had never felt this feeling. As all this was happening the other angels stopped singing and talked and gossiped amongst themselves. What is this? Lucifer grasping this new feeling turned on his brother and his creator with a fury that surpassed both of them. His words were truth as he destroyed the very fabric of heaven. Questions? This was unknown before now too.
Everything was changing and Belial was the first to act. His brother attacked him. Like following the instincts of the apes down below he attacked Lucifer. Heaven grew silent as all watched this before them. Pure angelic blood spilled across the astral plane. It pooled and caught fire on a plane all its own. Their battle lasted only but a few minutes. Lucifer having found this new act of choice first had a rage inside him that could never be stopped but someone who could not even question what creation was.
As Belial's body lay in front of him, his head dangling from Lucifer’s grip he raised his eyes at the creator in anger and sorrow. These emotions all new to him he knew one thing. This was not his home. This was not the way things were meant to be. His anger flowed out of him sparking anger in others. Lucifer vowed to himself as flexed his wings outwards that this shall be his last flight. He turned and flew out towards the newly created world. The fires and pits of darkness that called to him of his brothers blood.
His mind spun as he ascended into his new world. His body wrapped in the dark black shrouds of this new place. He gripped the ground on his landing and formed it into cold steel chains that bound his wings. His anger and sorrow filled the world for the first time with noise. As he looked up he realized that half of the angels of heaven had followed him and were descending upon this place.

No they will not all be 10/10. How do you get a ten of ten? You give that person the personal touch that is needed. You talk to them and make sure you understand what they are wanting from you. You READ their notes back to you, you look over their ref and make sure you know the character and you also ask questions if anything is unclear. Of course all this has to be done in a timely manner or with a few sorries and explanations thrown in if it wasnt done fast. Cause we all know life sometimes throws curveballs which would make things not go as fast.

Ok so I got my labret pierced again. I am so happy about it, but sadly I wont stop fucking with it so it isn’t healing lol. Also getting a haircut by my room mate too.

Ok so my best friend from high school moved in with me. I am so happy to have her here. Now since she has got here in the last two weeks we have drank way to much alcohol and also she has adopted a toad, 2 frogs, and a dog. Its hard to say no cus I love critters so much anyways.

♡♡♡♡♡Relationships:
I find myself hating the idea of getting into a relationship with the urge that I always have to long for it. I have always been quite a romantic even if at first looks at me tells you that you should run away or be flogged and raped. Mayhem is quite the same. Forcing someone isn’t the same as getting to know them and having them give themselves to you. Being in a relationship has always brought me happiness and even afterwards my thoughts would turn to all the good times regardless of the bad. Guess mainly it would be horrible if all you could remember was the bad. Then why ever do it again.
I have watched many people long to get back to into as deep a relationship as they could with the next person. Longing to feel near and close to them like the last person did. I never really felt that I guess because when I love, I LOVE. I fall into the relationship like falling into a pool of water. I think everyone should dive into things and stop holding themselves back.
At least that used to be the way I thought. I have been, as most people already know, very sexual and open. Regardless of who you are and whether it’s a joke or something serious. Today a new person flashed me on camera and I had mixed emotions. She is SEXY as hell but As much as I loved the sexy thoughts that came to mind I was also plagued with the fact that I can’t be with this person because they are so far away. Usually distance relationships had never been a problem.
This of course could be stemmed from the fact that I have just found that humanity had deteriorated to the point of you not being able to believe anyone’s words. The fact that someone might first act one way but in reality it’s all lies. Someone can even say they love you as your false relationship builds but in the end they are just playing your heart for a fool.
I know this does sound kind of jaded but at the same time I know most will see the truth in what I am typing. How hard is it to love someone now. How hard it is to find someone that you have that animalistic attraction too and wont screw you over. You know someone that you can trust and have faith in.
Not to bum you out but I thought it would be good to get this off my chest and there are those out there who do read my journal and talk to me on a normal basis.

UGG is most I can say. This school is giving me a hatred of both people and teachers. My pharm teacher doesn’t even know what he is teaching and you must not ask him questions…..because “Don’t worry about that, its not on the test” is the only answer you will get from him.
Throw on top of all that the fact that I am president of my class and now time keeper for student council. Fuck its good to tell people to shut up cus they are talking to much. It gets pretty busy.

Well a lot has been going on this month. This last month I have started going on a diet. I was kinda stuck at a certain weight even with working out so I am kinda going a little extreme but we will see how it goes over the next few months.
My final goal is to be happy enough with my body to do a body paint of me as Mayhem, going to have to figure out something for the chains and glue a horn to my head lol.
It will be sick though

So I did end up buying this awesome ass rice cooker, it cooks huge amounts of rice at once if I want to. It was the expensive one that was on sale.
Yea rice is one of the things I eat. Rice is so yummy.

And here is a picture of my new guitar. I havent named her yet. We are still getting to know each other. Its about time I learned. Which adding in learning guitar is like saying I want to learn five languages, but I figure it will also be a little more relaxing for me over the next few stressful school months.
Art wise I am motivated and trying to do more in my spare time. I have learned that sai and corel have so much better things than photoshop so you might see a transition over the next few months in my color style. Which I think has already started to look better than before. Hopefully I find artists on here that will start giving me feedback on things like that.

4/10 This one I was really saddened to see the end result. I had actually paid for this one and I think I should most likely have wanted my money back on it. Normally as mos of you know and you can read on my character ref, I prefer to let the artist do whatever they want. This artist wouldnt have any of that. Ask me SPECIFICALLY what I wanted. So I had to think up two things and came up with two different poses for a Mayhem pony (since she does ponies). The end result wasnt even what I asked for. I was actually surprised she gave him his horn because she didnt even want to do that. Yea I know, I guess she didnt even look at my reference page that I sent her three times. I know some of you might find this a little harsh, but its much different when your paying. It would had been a different story if this had been the end result and she didnt ask me specify what she should draw. She is a very beautiful girl that does amazing work. Anyone that wants to take your chances with her might end up with something beautiful. Just be wary, you might end up with something you didnt even ask for.

8/10 It was a kiriban and this is what I suggest to anyone who holds a kiriban. If you offer a drawing, even for gifts and such I think you should always put as much into as you would anything else. Unless your saying that you are doing less. If I say I am doing my half body I would do a half body. I think this would be more of a quick sketch. Just not up to this artists ussual skill level.

Notes to the Notes.
No they will not all be 10/10. How do you get a ten of ten? You give that person the personal touch that is needed. You talk to them and make sure you understand what they are wanting from you. You READ their notes back to you, you look over their ref and make sure you know the character and you also ask questions if anything is unclear. Of course all this has to be done in a timely manner or with a few sorries and explanations thrown in if it wasnt done fast. Cause we all know life sometimes throws curveballs which would make things not go as fast.
so if it looks weird its because I copy pasted for the most part.

So yes this months challenge I have even come up with a meme style form for you to paint in. Speed painting essentially shouldnt take you very long at all to paint. Hence the word speed in the title. It doesnt mean you pop speed before hand.....although that might actually work too.

When painting these out I have given you an element to use. you do not have to keep this very literal. If you think a chef making flames in the kitchen represents fire, speed paint it out. This is designed to help you advance in your art skills. Maybe even take you out of your safe zone.
