Posted 16 years agoI hate Call of Duty 4 with a passion. Thus it's nickname from me, Call of Duty 4: Illogical warfare.
I can't understand the design, or lack there of in this title. I can't wrap my head around it. It has smart enemy AI, and by smart I mean auto targeting. Evidence, they unload on your dead corpse and not on incoming enemies.
Your team is not epic. I have no clue why everyone thinks MacMillian is a badass.
Here's a thought : How did they get their high ranks when they never advance? They follow a private rank, poorly nicknamed R-tard into battle. You, "Soap" (I swear to all gods, that is pathetic), lead this team of LT's and SGT's into a war with generic russian badies.
Penatration system. Everything is apparently thin. It seems cool at first, but you realize it has been applied to any wall or barricade less than 2 feet thick.
Difficulty: The jump between Hardened and Veteran is so wide, it makes half of the achievements beyond farfetched. I have beaten the campaign on Veteran, check out my friggin' gamercard. However, the hours of screaming and bitching about this poorly designed level video game was not worth it.

Posted 16 years ago...life is a fucking cruel bitch, punishing the good, rewarding the bad. A backwards and broken system no one seems to know how to replace. This is why I am a misanthrope, this is why I seem stressed.

Posted 16 years agoI stopped playing the game because I could never beat Raining blood on my expert career. I went back and kicked it's ass, somehow. Then I tried the Lou duel battle and remembered reason number two for quitting the game. He is way too over done compared to the other two bosses. He is ridiculous, even for a final boss battle. Also, the cutoff for One by Metallica on hard is WAY too high. when you hit 94% and break a 1000 streak and still don't get 5 stars, there's a problem.
I enjoy playing the game to a point, don't get me wrong. Just annoying things like this disgust me and turn me away from gaming.

Posted 16 years agoWell, I have my xbox 360 back... after it died for the second time. I bought Dead Space and loved it but I am nearing completing it entirely. Good for those moments where I want to dismember something or someone.

My cat killed a savage beast
Posted 16 years agoMy cat brought home a Blue jay in it's mouth yestersay. Problem was, it was still ALIVE. My family and I just heard tweeting when Salem came into view, with a fucking bird in her maw. It was a pretty good size too. She ran into the house and we brought her outside in some feeble attempt to free the bird. She eventually let go of the bird but it's neck was broken, head lolling back and forth as it gasped for air. My mother, being the epic PHail that she is, tried giving it water. Note, my mother is not that smart. By this time, it was dead dead deadsky. She kept saying "But humans break their necks all the time." or "it's just in a coma or something." Everyone had a good laugh at her expense and made bird jokes and the like. It ended on a good note. Still freaky when my black cat came charging in with it's kill, still tweeting.
