I've seen (and responded to) your comments on my most recent submission- and, in the process, I can see how wishy-washy I am being about this whole process. Because of that (and after a bit of discussion with a dear friend of mine), I'd like to take a step back for a moment, think about this a bit harder, and take into account both what I've said in my submissions, as well as what I said in responding to the comments I've gotten (both regarding the type of content I post and the censorship of said-content).

I apologize deeply for the multitude of mixed messages I've been giving, regarding all of this..
I'm not trying to contradict myself, I'm just a little lost and confused about this whole situation-- I'm genuinely not sure how I want to approach things going forward,, So I'd like to think it through a bit more, before I settle on something officially, to avoid confusing the rest of y'all as well.

I'm not sure how long this will take (hopefully not too long). If you guys still want me to post stuff during that time, let me know- though, I may limit myself to only sharing personal art.

Hey, all! If you're just here for comms, feel free to ignore the following paragraph:
Sorry for the delay/silence, regarding art, and commissions, I meant to get this done..way sooner, but motivation has been all over the place, and life's been throwing a lot of punches heh. I've been a bit inactive for a handful of reasons, mostly regarding my health/mental state-- so I'm just taking things slow until I feel better.. That being said, I do need to start saving up again, and think about paying bills, so I wanted to get in here and, open my commission forms, so you all can get your ideas in, and I can start tackling work as soon as I'm able.

Now, onto the important part! For those of you that are new, or otherwise haven't read my last two journals, I've been hoping to approach comms differently than before, as in, no more slots--
No slots (hopefully) means that everyone gets a fair chance at being considered, rather than the whole first-come-first-served thing. No slots also lets me approach commissions in a way that's less stressful, so I'm not accidentally committing to more projects than I can realistically handle. Win/win, right?

All you have to do is fill out a form! (And read my ToS, of course heh)

Hey, all! I'm still alive :D
Please forgive my absence, a multitude of irl things came up that prevented me from existing here- mainly internet issues that (seem to) have been solved, finally!
(Thank you all for the watches and comments, while I've been gone, I really appreciate it :3)
I was trying to focus on Art Fight during the month of July, but ran into problems with my internet that put a wrench in both that and irl things— the art program I use depends on internet in order for me to save my work; That, and having several appointments to try and solve said-internet-issues, kept me from doing as much drawing as I wanted to.
But, that's all behind me now, so I'm hoping to get back into the swing of things here! (This includes continuing work on my little comic, for those who've expressed their interest in it! :D)

On that note, I wanted to dip my toes back into doing commissions again— as a means of getting used to drawing again, while also earning some money ^^"
I don't want to "officially" open commissions, quite yet— as such, I'm only accepting fullbody commissions,, no backgrounds either- only small props, if needed (I just wanna ease myself into drawing stuff again ;u;)

Firstly, thanks so much for the kind comments on my last journal, I really appreciate it!

Now, onto the main thing:
Commissions are still fairly new territory to me, I've only done two rounds— but, like I intended, it's given me a feel for how things work.. what I like, what I don't like. I really take pride in willing to take on bigger/unique projects per a commissioner's request, but my slot system sometimes has me taking on a bit more than I can handle at a time! (I generally like having a semi-fast turnaround, so lately I've had to make people wait until I was done with whatever I got before them, before working on theirs)
I've been heavily considering using the forms strategy (through Google Forms), letting folks submit their ideas (in a way that's easy for me to compare the essentials of) for a few days, giving every an ample chance to get their ideas in. This would also allow for me to take on what I'm in the mood for/what I think I can manage, while hopefully not changing too much!
Idk, I'm still thinking on it— I know using forms isn't increadibly popular, but I really like trying new stuff for you guys considering the subject matter I specialize in, and this just might be a bit better in the long run

I'll also likely be changing my prices a little bit— nothing too drastic, but I low-balled myself going in, and feel that I've improved a lot since I started, so I'll probably just aim for a slight increase in things that take a lot more time :>

This might take some time, so until I'm ready to do comms again, I might open YCHs! What I did last went super well, so I might do more similar to that- but I'm also considering doing scene YCHs as well... Maybe with an auction this time?? Idk, I'm trying not to be too hasty, but still optimistic!
