As soon as I got back my family members decided to take turns going into the hospital and having very odd medical results. Unexpected and odd results. SO I have been taking a break BUT I'm swear I have a few new ideas coming up liiiike
the four horses of the apocalypse ^.^
AND
MYSTERRYY EEGGGS! I'm going to craft really delicate paper eggs with crocheted plushies hiding inside.
AND (Can you take it? Can you handle more?)
I may be opening back up for custom orders.

Posted 12 years agoI bet all but two of ya thought I fell off the earth eh? Well...YOU CAN'T GET RID OF ME THAT EASILY! MWAHAHAHAHAHAAAAA.

While I was gone I started an etsy shop. There's only four things in it so far and it's only pre-made minions for the time being. I have some cute, never before seen, little guys on there right now liiiike A DRAGON and A BLACK KITTY and a FancyFin WITH A MONOCLE! I know, I almost can't handle the awesome myself, but breathe it'll be okay.

Posted 12 years agoSo, about... two ish years ago now I had rotator cuff surgery from when I was in a car wreck. I did something to it today. It hurts like a sonuvabitch and I can hardly move my arm. T-T
I'm really hoping it's just a weather related thing and it clears up tomorrow. Cause A: It ish mah birfday. B: Mah birfday party. C: I still have three pieces to draw. I'm almost done with Lila and I suppose I can put up the line art for HappilyX.

Posted 12 years agoAs you guys can see, I'm getting into digital art. SO!
I am willing to draw ONE persons character as a test. I know I'm good at bunny people, but I'd like to try more. If you're interested please post a ref in the comments and then I'll choose who gets a drawing. I get to choose the pose and the method of covering their private bits (I'm not comfortable with nudity yet, and I don't know if I ever will be 100% on it.)
I get complete artistic freedom with the character BUT this means you my best effort at drawing your character for free. Probably two or three days worth of drawing FOR FREE!
So, yeah, if you're interested lemmie know and post a ref.

Posted 12 years agoHey guys. Sorry it's been so incredibly long since I've been on here. I took a sculpture class this semester and spent all my time working in shop for it. I haven't even gotten to study for my other classes between sculpture and my job. BUT I have a month off before the next semester begins and I will be taking a Painting course.....so... Not sure how that's going to go. BUT What that means is that I've got time to work on a few things. I'm still going to get really picky about commissions because I'm kind of a perfectionist and I will not sleep until something is done, and done right, once I start working on it and that caused me a ton of stress with some of my commissions. SO, in a roundabout way....I guess I'm saying I'm open for business again.

Posted 13 years agoMy brother has made pocket change compared to everyone else for this walk, and it's really starting to depress him. He's not sleeping much if at all and he's moping. I don't wanna guilt trip but it kills me to see my bro so sad.

A few announcements

2. I'm so incredibly sorry that i have take so long on commissions that I currently have. Things have been going crazy around here and I may need to have shoulder surgery again on my other rotator cuff. It's a very very painful surgery that requires about four months of physical therapy.
3. I've started back at school. So I will be pickier about commissions.
4. I will be doing "Mystery Egg" adopts for 5.00 an egg soon. (Price may change)
That should be about it. Thank you all for your patience and hopefully soon my life will even out for juuuust a little while.

Posted 13 years agoSo, my awesome brother Eric has Autism, and this year he has a team in the Autism Speaks Walk called Eric's Lions.
I'm walking in it with him and so is my mate ^.^ and I'm also trying to collect donations to raise money for the research on how to best treat and hopefully cure autism.
The minimum online donation is $20.00 and if you donate I will crochet you a limited edition Autism Speaks Lion each lion will have a puzzle piece around its neck.
Once you've donated just leave me a comment saying that you donated and how much. Message me to tell me where to send your lion. I'll have up a photo of said lion later in the week.

Posted 13 years agoSo. I've been working on my orders. And I promise to get them to you soon. I have the dalmatian done and the border collie and half of the ferret. all that's left is the rest of the ferret and the wallaby before i start the NEXT order. I know I say these usually take a week and I apologize for the length of time it has taken already. But i swear on my life you'll get em soon.
In other news!
School is starting up on teh 25th so commissions will be fewer than what i've already done. I'll be doing some mystery eggs but expect your commission to take longer if you commission me the beginning of sept. while i'm balancing out my schedule. Also I've injured my shoulder. I don't know how bad but most movement sends a pain from the front and back of my shoulder up my neck and into my head. v.v Imma see about getting it looked at soonish. If rest doesn't help.
I know I don't normally post journals related to me but hey, figured you guys deserved to be more on the up and up with what I'm doing. Also once school starts I'm hoping to get a tablet, finally, and start doing some drawing commissions. I'm not fantastic BUT imma give it a go! Eventually.
Sooo.... I think that's it. My brain is fuzzy. Took a muscle relaxer.... If there's more I'll post later...
In hindsight this wasn't a small update.... Pictures of the crocheted puppies soon. And possibly half a weasel

Posted 13 years agoI took three days off of crocheting. Something I don't normally do. I had a fashion show on Saturday, nothing to do on sunday but catch up on rest, and today (monday) I had a photoshoot for a flyer. So. Now that that is all out of the way I will resume crocheting. Portal Pandas Update
Posted 13 years agoHad a bit of a snafu today. A family problem sprung up and had me and my mate in a tizzy of phone calls that tied us up most of the day. I should have the pandas done and up for grabs by Friday afternoon at some point. I do have the blue ones head complete and attached to the body and the orange ones body done. (And by body I do not mean tummy, arms, legs, and tail. I just mean tummy).

Posted 13 years agoSo, the patterns I use aren't made by me. I wont lie. But I'm thinking about making my own pattern for foxes because all the foxes I find patterns for are...well... ugly. Then this got me thinking (don't worry I wasn't injured!) what kind of animals would you guys like to see up for sale?
