Hello everyone!

This is just a heads up that I'm going to be making changes to pricing for my commissions at the start of July, as well as releasing a new style for simple sketches without colour.

The reason for the price change is because the time I spend on my artwork is starting to exceed my rate of pay per commission; time has improved my art and I am taking more care and time to do it. Thus, I need to ensure I am compensated for my time in a way that is sustainable for me. I will continue to do my best to ensure that the price change will be affordable.

The introduction of the new style is an exciting one - I've heard interest in my simple composition sketches, which are the sketch phase before lining and colouring in my current sketches, which will be renamed as illustrations since they're beyond sketches at this point. The simple composition sketches are fast, and I will be able to deliver them quickly, which will be great for turnaround time!

hii i was wondering what the interest would be like for a draw-along Q+A art streams about art and stuff on Twitch? i feel like i've hoarded a lot of tips over the years and i guess i was wondering what people thought about me hosting a stream where folks could ask questions for their own art development who want to learn something i know, or get suggestions for things they want to improve/need help with?

my ideas include themed streams like the following:
- different levels of head/face/body anatomy from bare beginner+
- diversifying anatomy
- shading
- perspective and foreshortening
- lighting (regular and atmospheric)
- backgrounds
- placing characters and objects in environments

if you're interested let me know :3 i'm unsure when i can commit to this kind of thing but i am interested in doing it

Hi! This is just a notice that my commissions are closed until September 2024, when they will be re-opening. Life has just become too busy and I'm falling behind; to respect my current customers, I will not be taking more commissions until my current queue is complete.

Kaori is still too unwell to work and my paychecks are only going so far. Working full time now has also eaten up a lot of my week and between that and my mental health I'm unable to take any more commissions right now.

If you have even a dollar to spare it would go a long way for us. We have bills coming out in 5 days and medications to buy as well. We are almost out of food and have borrowed what we can from friends and family.

I'm sorry to be that guy on the internet but I'm feeling out of options. Really appreciate any help that can be given, or even a share is appreciated.

Basically I have a lot of WIPs, half-finished pieces, etc that I don't really want to put into my full gallery. I've considered doing a patreon for this content before as a perk for those who do really want to see them.

Other FUTURE things I'm considering in a Patreon are:
- Special sales tiers
- Short comics/comics about my OCs (and YCHs for characters to be background in them if there's interest)
- Writing/fanfic about my OCs (yes, I do write, too!)
- Art guides and how-to-draw lessons (I'm no guru at art but I have some techniques I've been told others would like to learn)

The minimum cost is $25 and the image will include colour. No revisions are available - what you get is what you get. Style and execution may not match examples - each piece is experimental, and thus, may look different.
