These past few weeks have been mental for me. I lost my pet cat of 13 years, and and my grandma has been quickly declining. Combined with the stress of the end of this year at university, and i've had almost no energy for commissions. Added to that, I lost the table on which i'd recorded all the art I had arranged.

Please, if you're expecting art from me, get in touch. I hate that i've screwed you about, and now that I have some spare time, I would like to set everything straight and get all of the art I owe out of the way.

The main nib in my wacom tablet pen has stopped working ;_;

I followed some instructions I found online on how to take the casing off, and discovered that one of the tiny copper wires from the induction coil at the tip had broken where it joins the computing board. I know how to solder, but I really don't feel confident working on that scale v.v

This is quite serious, as I can't draw on the computer with a mouse.

If anyone out there knows where I could find a replacement Wacom Intuos 3 pen for less than an arm and a leg, please tell me!

So, anyone think I should do something for my 10,000th? Like, a kiriban picture for anyone lucky enough xD

Have a read of this account of being an Anime fan in the 80's. It sounds almost exactly like what Furry had been up to a few years ago.

Looking at what the Anime fandom is like today (retail shops, conventions numbering the tens of thousands, TV channels), would you say that Furry might follow a similar trend?

I had an idea of setting up a small mail order confectionary service for fellow furs, selling things such as chocolate Christmas Tree decorations in the shapes of paws; paw cookies etc. Do you think there would be.much interest in this - would you buy a box for a reasonable price? ^^

I'm just wandering if there's anyone out there who has one of those button-stamping kits - the ones where you put in layers of metal, art and plastic and it stamps them together? I'd like to make a few for myself and it's not worth buying a whole kit! I'd supply my own art, and i'd be happy to draw something in return for materials ^^

Well then, this week has been very interesting so far! It's been my induction into the Foundation Year in Art & Design diploma, held at Leicester De Montfort university =D

Loving the facilities we have here - so much cool stuff compared to my college ^^

This does mean i'll have less spare time to spend on things like art, but I will definitely be keeping on top of my commissions and they will remain open!

Hey there! I'd like to know if anyone has any recommendations for netbooks - something cheap but fairly powerful that I could maybe run a copy of photoshop on for basic photo editing.

I'd like one to take to Uni so that I can edit photos and touch up art on the fly, instead of having to rely on my desktop 24/7 =)

Most important I guess is that it's small - something I can slip in a bag ^^

I've just recently started listening to a load of Cat Empire stuff - has anyone else discovered this awesome australian band? =o
