That's footage of another station having picked up that MFM story. I didn't find the MFM story all that terrible (definitely better than CSI or Sex2k), but those anchormen were acting quite unprofessional after the story. Hell, they were acting really immature after that story. Needing to vomit or shower after watching that? I'd expect that from some /b/tard in a YouTube comment, not a fucking professional news anchor on air. Someone needs to introduce them to bukkake parties at anime cons or something...

You know what else? Stop stirring up a shitstorm over the footage. From what I gather,  mideonwerewolf and the other staff at MFM tried to extend an open paw to the press to hopefully get us some entirely positive attention in the media. It backfired. People make mistakes. One would expect a news station to not go on about fetishes when doing a story about an even that's raised a total of over $70000 for a charity.

At least letting a news station in is a million times wiser than letting the fucks from The Jimmy Kimmel Show (and The Man Show, IIRC) film at Confurence.

I've been thinking about trades lately, but, while I would like to do them, I don't think anything I write would be worth another's art.

It's frustrating trying to be a writer in this fandom. Yeah, yeah, it's been said a million times before that writers are under appreciated in furry.

It's frustrating trying to paint the pictures in my mind with words. It doesn't help that Aeth is a guitarist in a band in my little world. There's so much going on during a concert that's hard to get across in writing...so many things that look awesome when done right at a cymbal crash or whatever that lose that same power when written. I need to get some fursuiters together and make a music video.

Meh, I can't come up with good setlists.

After "We Will Rock You (Fast)", Aeth steps up to a mic and says, "And of course we're gonna rock you, so let there be rock!".
"Band Jam" is just that, the band jamming for a bit on stage.
Before "The Show Must Go On", Aeth dedicates it to everyone rock has lost so far. During the song, the screens on stage show video clips/pics of lots of dead rock stars.
Before "Jailhouse Rock", Aeth ditches his belt so his hip wiggling during the song drops his pants, which he proceeds to kick off into the crowd and performs the rest of the show without pants.

I tend to follow that piece of advice that goes "Write what you know." It's the only way I've found to write something that's slightly better than "shit".

Even looking back on my writings from 2002/2003, I can see a significant difference between those I wrote with virtually none of myself in them and those that were essentially me expressing myself through a story.

I think I've actually destroyed all copies of those old writings. I might have one or two still kicking around on my thumbdrive, but I do know any paper copies have long since been either tossed in the trash and/or burned.

Anyway, I'm rambling. The point is, those last two stories I've uploaded were largely reflective of my real life feelings and such.

Yes, those last two are horrible shots, but I took them mainly to ask the readers of my LJ whether or not I should cut the hair back to something like chin length.

As some of you have probably heard, this group calling itself Warriors for Innocence has gone around getting communities and journals on LJ deleted, sometimes unfairly.

This group does have a good idea. They want to get pedophiles. However, they've been responsible for support communities and fanfiction communities getting suspended. They've apparently scared LJ's legal team enough to where LJ Abuse is just banning every journal that gets reported without investigating.

I do have a slight paranoia that they'll get it in their heads that furry = pedo and start coming after journals and communities based on that.

Personally, I'm laying low and trying to keep up with information on what's going on. I'm trying to stay out of all the drama and keep those around me informed of what's going on.
