I finally got a job doing maintenance on airplanes! :D
It's something I've been wanting for a long while and I'm so happy that I'll finally get to do it! I'll be starting in a little over a week, so wish me luck. :)
Also, I got my mohawk back as a gift to myself for getting my new job, so that makes me extra happy X3

Fallout motha effin' 4!! UPDATE!
Posted 10 years agoI just finished the main quest line for the first time! Pretty good overall. Won't say what I chose to do for the sake of not spoiling anything for anyone who hasn't played it yet. Still so much to do in the game that it will probably keep me entertained for quite a while.
I officially give Fallout 4 a rating of 9/10!
There a lot things they've changed from the previous two games, it is just a completely different game. There are a few gripes that I have, but overall it is absolutely amazing! It is so choice. If you have the means, I highly recommend picking up a copy. Can't wait for the mods to start rolling out in earnest so I can really start customizing my gameplay experience, but overall I have to say excellent job Bethesda!

Posted 11 years agoOr big changes at least. X3 As of today my name was officially changed! :) No longer am I a girl with a boy's name. Now I've just got to go through the hassle of getting my name changed on all of my official documents and with the places that need it. It's not all pie and candy, ya know? :/ But anyway, I'm pretty damn happy.

First, things have been going pretty awesome for me! I think for the most part I've been accepted as a girl by just about everyone! I even have some of my professors referring to me with female pronouns even though I haven't asked them to and they even know my boy name and I don't really have a female voice down yet. I'm not really sure what to make of that. I guess I just won't question it and be happy. X3

It's been about 5 and a half months since I started my hormones, some ups and downs with that, mostly my fault. X3 But I have never been happier in my life than I am now. I can see and feel the changes happening and I want them to continue and go faster. My mind is clear for the first time in a long time and my future looks bright! :)
Also! MFF! :3 I actually thought it was this week, because it's my birthday this Friday, and MFF was on my birthday last year and the year before, so I thought it was this year too, but I guess it's next week. X3 I figure I'll post the MFF meme like I did last year :3

Posted 12 years agoToday was the day! Yesterday I got my hormone pills, and today was the first time taking them! :3 I've felt great all day, but that's not the pills. X3 I was so excited I woke up early even though I only got five hours of sleep. I'm so excited for the future, something I would have never said for the past couple years. I'm going to be taking pictures of my face every day and my body every so often to give me a timeline of the changes that happen. I can't wait for things to start happening! I can't remember wanting anything so bad in my entire life, and now it's really happening!

Posted 13 years agoFinally I get around to writing this down, but a couple days ago, I told my parents! And they weren't mad at me or anything. They said they didn't understand what it must be like for me or really anything about it, but I suppose they are accepting enough of it. I'm so relieved everything went well, it's a huge weight off my shoulders. I guess now I should ask them how they feel about me crossdressing around the house. X3 But whatever, things are just going good for me right now.

I'm so close to telling my parents about me wanting to be a woman. I'm very nervous about it, but I'm finalizing what I want to say, and hopefully I'll do it tomorrow or Thursday. I'll definitely make an update afterward. I'm just hoping I'll have the courage to do it and everything will go well.

Posted 13 years agoFor anyone who cares, I just wanted to say things are going pretty well. Finals are next week, as well as comps (approval tests) for my general and airframe FAA tests. Then, assuming I pass those, I will also take the FAA written general and airframe tests. I think I'll pass, but I'm never really 100% sure on anything. X3

Posted 13 years agoGot back home from Anthrocon a couple hours ago. I had a really good time, it was a lot of fun and I think it was great for my second con and first time at AC. The ride there and back was very long, but it was overall ok. And, of course, I have to thank my amazing boyfriend matchwood , he was the only reason I was able to go and I love him so much for everything! So, yeah, gotta get back to real life now.
