Happy Christmas and Merry New Year
Posted 5 years agoGod, who else is incredibly ready for 2019 to be fucking over? hahaha
I haven't been very active, I know, this year was really rough. After a lot of really bad bullshit this summer/fall, I think some things are starting to get squared away and I'm really thankful to be ending things on a high-ish note.
For giftmas, my wife and roommate got me a new harddrive, a portable harddrive to back everything up, and Win10, so I'm gonna try to do a fresh windows installation and some small upgrades on my computer, and see if that helps things run a little smoother. Kind of realized on top of a lot of medical stuff, the constant crashes and slowdown I'm having hasn't been helpful at all in terms of trying to get back into drawing.
Aside from that, I have all new doctors and meds, so everything's very exciting right now.
Anyway, hope everyone is having an okayish year, happy holidays to everyone, good luck going into 2020!

Teeny Tiny Update: Hallo! 0w0
Posted 6 years agoHeeeeeey,
I'm taking some steps to resume posting here and doing art and whatnot.
I still have quite a bit of owed work, so that's the biggest priority, but I might be doing some small sketches to try to get back into the swing of things.
I have started a Patreon to get ahead of the fee changes on that site.
https://www.patreon.com/aggro_badger
My current plan for the Patreon is that it'll mostly be a mirror gallery. SFW content will be viewable to everyone there. WIP (only posted there) and NSFW content will be viewable to anyone who subscribes for a $1 or more a month. Also when I do open for commissions regularly again, people on Patreon will get first dibs. But my goal is really not to paywall anything, I'm mostly testing out the site as a little tip jar and looking at the possibility of funding a project through it later, but almost everything will still be posted here or on twitter as well.
Twitter is: https://twitter.com/aggro_badger
Haha, I mostly took to my computer to do some drawing today, and felt like I should kick the dust off of this place and post a little as well.
Gonna upload a couple small pictures in a moment here.
Hope everyone's well, thanks and take care!

Small Update, Sorry for Long Away
Posted 7 years agoHey
Just wanted to post and say I'm not actually dead yet.
Sorry for my very long and unannounced away. This year has been rough and weird.
Kinda TMI mental health stuff:
I've continued to have a really hard time with some mental health stuff, and while I had some good luck with some meds, I kept having weird and frustrating side effects. We tried to adjust some of my meds around the beginning of August or thereabouts, and I crashed really bad and feel like I lost a lot of the progress I had been making. Even going back to the previous arrangement didn't seem to help after said crash. The last few months have been a series of ups and downs (well, mostly downs) as I've tried new things. none of which have really worked out for me.
It's weird to find myself in this state. I have always had some problems with depression and such, but I had learned how to work around it and was doing pretty well for quite a while. Now it's so bad sometimes I don't really recognize my own brain.
Being away from art is exceedingly frustrating because not feeling productive and not being able to engage with something I love doing really feeds the depression and feeling lost and hopeless, but at the same time I find myself so exhausted and drained from it, that I have a very difficult time sitting down and putting in the effort. It sucks, it's like I need to feel better before I can feel better, and nothing is giving way for that to happen.
Ugh, anyway.
Happy holidays to everyone. Thanks for collectively being patient with me. Right now things feel a little impossible, but I'm very much hoping that next year things fall back into place.
FWIW I probably won't have the time/energy to reply to comments on this, if there are any, but I will try to read them at least.
Thanks.

Sorry for away, small update
Posted 7 years agoHey, sorry for being so quiet over here...
My doc and I attempted to adjust some of my meds because I'm tired all the time. The fallout of it was terrible and I haven't been able to quite get myself right since.
I'm slowly feeling better but it's been like trying to dig myself out of mud.
I will post and update here as things improve.

Another Tiny Update
Posted 7 years agoSorry I haven't been back/streaming/posting yet.
Still been a little sick/recovering, and trying to catch up on stuff around the house that got neglected. Will try to have something to post or some stream time by the end of the week.
Take care!

Little Update!
Posted 7 years agoJust a small update and sorry for being away!
I had started streaming again and it was going well, but I got really sick for a little over a week and am just now recovering. I'm okay, I just wasn't up for much of anything, much less working on commissions.
Last couple days I have been focusing on catching up on things around the house, but I'll try to be streaming again soon. Hoping to be on Sunday and Monday.
Thanks and take care

This Week's Update
Posted 7 years agoHey there, trying to stay to posting updates every week. Nothing too exciting happening here.
In the middle of working on art for
cigarsnscotch
murphyz and
shaytalis
I noted the rest of the people from "group 3", so if you're

Will be working on these over the next couple weeks and will start noting group 4 as I finish those up.
Trello is here: https://trello.com/b/ADRk88vY/aggro.....mmission-queue
Side note: man, some people have really nice trellos?? I need to figure out better how to do some of what I've seen others do, but like, when I'm more caught up.

Mental Health, Practicing, and Resuming Commissions
Posted 7 years agoI'm not super sure what to say in general aside from sorry for the wait and for being gone so long.
Without getting too into details, a bit over two years ago I started to seek help for my generally constant bad mood and stress. I ended up having to try about a million medications before I found some that worked for me and in the mean time I had a lot of rough side effects, which is primarily what lead to me not drawing for forever.
There were other factors but that was probably the biggest one.
As an added note to that, I did find out only recently that there are simple genetic tests that can be done to find out before hand if a medication is going to make you sick or crazy, so I highly recommend that if you ever find yourself in a similar situation.
So, anyway. I've been practicing art and feeling better about it. Thanks for all of the support and feedback on stuff I've posted so far. I have a few odds and ends things I drew while I was away that I'll eventually try to clean up and post as well.
My plan right now is to resume work on old commissions this week. It'll probably be slow to start. Once I start drawing things I've already talked to people about, I'll start being in touch with other people I owe things to and working out any details or changes that need to be addressed.
I will also try to get some more informative journals and a post the queue here and whatnot, and maybe start streaming, but I'd like to get a few drawings done so it feels less overwhelming before I start getting too into extra stuff like that.
I am not currently open for new commissions and it will probably still be a couple months while I finish all the old stuff before we start on that. Hopefully in working on the old stuff I'll have a better idea of what my pace and schedule will be like when I do open.
Anyway, thanks for reading, thank you all for the support and kindness I get on this site. Take care.

[CLOSED]
Posted 9 years agoEdit: Closed now! Thank you!
I am open for a smallish batch of commissions. They'll be started on about March 19th -- sorry it's a little ways out. I will be finishing my current batch and off work for about a week for medical reasons.
Once I get applications I'll note people within 24-72 hours with payment info and price, and payment is due within 72 hours of that (essentially by this Friday).
You can view my queue here:
https://trello.com/b/ADRk88vY/aggro.....mmission-queue
I will add people to the list under March 19th and you can check to see that you've been added and if I've priced or noted you yet. If it says you've been noted and you haven't heard from me, please check in!
These will most likely be mostly streamed and I'm willing to try to work around people, but in the interest of getting things done in a timely manner, I may not end up streaming all of them. It just depends on what my personal schedule allows. So the streaming is a treat, not a promise. Thank you for understanding.
Apply here:[Closed now! Thank you!]
Commissions start at $40 per character (see below for further pricing information, or here for the full price list: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5523457/ ).
All commissions are streamed on the dates listed.
Stream is at https://picarto.tv/aggrobadger
New TOS is here : https://docs.google.com/document/d/.....0hTNRR0y0/edit
**General Stream Info and Pricing**
$40 per character
May include one instance (per character) for complicated features or minor props/background elements. Additional instances start at +$5 per.
Examples of complicated features include but not limited to...
-wings, extra limbs (taur, wings, tentacles, etc), shiney/gooey/melting, word bubbles, complicated markings/tattoos/patterns, armour/robotic stuff, some TF stuff (ripping clothes, complicated fur/colour changes), etc.
-If your description is especially long and will require me to reread it while drawing to include everything, your price may also reflect that.
-Lack of a visual reference (it does not have to be a ref sheet, just a clear, existing picture) may also effect the price, at my discretion.
-Most internal shots/panels/closeups are +$20 (this does not include a full character wedged into the internal view, just the view itself).
*( More Info on Pricing Here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5523457/ )*
**You do not have to attend the stream to get art, you just have to fill out the form and pay by the time specified.**

http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13281483/ (sfw, tf)

Either myself or my assistant Talosar (that's his FA name) will review your application and confirm requests with you via email or note (if you have a preference, let us know when you apply!) within 48 hours of your filling it out. Please keep an eye on your notes. We will try to give you a reasonable amount to reply, but spots will only be solidified once payment is received.
Must use the Goods/Services option and select No Shipping Required when checking out with paypal and put _only your FA/Weasyl name_ in the subject/note of the payment.
Pictures will be posted at their full, highest resolution on FA upon completion and you may collect them from there.
In the event that I feel that the content (violent, disturbing, or more "extreme" subject matter) of your image is more appropriate to my other account,
vykos\* it may be posted there instead. \*Looking into a Weasyl alternative for this.
-All ratings are allowed.
-Please no child or animal abuse/sex, bathroom stuff, anal/cock-vore or female hyper. Some other limits may apply.
-Please keep your idea straight forward. Due to time restrictions, I will not do any major revisions and minor revisions will be limited.
-Please do not micromanage (I'm not zooming in so you can nitpick).
-Please try to limit your refs to 1-3 per character.
-Please limit your description to a brief sentence or two.
-Please include all of your information in the initial application.
-If you are asking for a sequence or multiple pictures, and they each involve their own explanation and/or refs, please fill out the application for each picture.
If you do not have visual references, I will work from a text ref, but again, please keep it simple and straight forward and focused physical description. Simplify things by offering a photo ref (use google!) if you have a weird piece of clothing, or a strange pose in mind.
<b>Things I can’t do.
-Guarantee that I can stream your image with you present. I will try! I want people to be able to watch if they choose to, but getting the art done in a timely manner is more important.
-Send notes/tweets/texts/ims/emails to alert people of when I’m drawing things.
-Send out payment confirmations. If you follow the instructions, in the payment note, I’m sure it’s fine! I will note people if there is a \_problem\_ with payment. No news is good news!
-Move your commission to a later stream because you were unable to watch. </b>

Payment
Paypal ( http://www.paypal.com/ ) is my prefered and most common accepted form of payment.
It is assumed unless otherwise specified that you will be paying through this service.
However, I also accept payment through...
-Dwolla http://www.dwolla.com/
-Amazon (US only) Gift Cards
-Starbucks Giftcards
-Homedepot Giftcards
-Steam Games
*If you wish to use one of these options, please mention it when applying for your commission.*
All Commission Prices are in USD
If that is not your native currency, you are responsible for any additional conversion fees.
Payment Instructions
-Payment is due upfront and in full before any work is started.
-Once your commission info and references are received, you will be contacted with the final price, and address to send payment to.
-A due date for payment will be specified either at the time the commission is applied for, or when the note is sent; usually 48-96 hours from the time the commission was applied for. Nonpayment or failure to make other arrangements may result in your commission being canceled. When possible a reminder will be sent before cancellation, but there is no guarantee of this.
-Any payment in excess of the given price is considered a tip and is non-refundable.
-If you need to delay payment for any reason, please reply as soon as you are given a price/payment info, to prevent cancellation.
-If you are splitting payment between multiple parties, please consolidate it into as few payments as possible. Please do not split payments into more than three transactions.
Reposting and Copyright
-Please credit me, or link back to my page/the original post when and where possible.
-Please do not post altered (redraw, recoloured, etc) without permission.
-If you are the commissioner of a piece, cropping/resizing for use as avatars/banners is permitted.
-Unless commissioned specifically for this purpose, use on paysites, advertisements, in conjunction with a business or organization, and other for-profit venture is disallowed.
-When posting to art sites, please abide by the AUP (that is, almost anyone can post any image to a chan or archival site, but you may only post images made for/by you on art sites such as FurAffinity).
-While you may print an image for personal, private use, you may not make prints of my work for resale or redistribution.
-I retain the right to repost, resell in either digital or print form, or rework any image I create, as I see fit (ie: using commissions in an ad for my gallery, or sold as part of a portfolio or featured in some way on a crowdfunding site/gallery)
-I retain the copyright to all images. When commissioning me, you are buying my time and permission for limited, personal use.
-You may not resell or alter it for publication, prints, adoptables, etc.
-If your picture is to remain private, please tell me at the time it is commissioned. I am flexible about this, but there may be additional charges. Your public posting of an image voids my agreement to keep an image private.
Subject Matter/Rejected Commissions
-I reserve the right to decline any commission at any time, for any reason (including but not limited to: Subject Matter, Miscommunication, Language Barrier, Time Restrictions).
-Most subject matter, content, and ratings are permissible. However, I will not draw child/animal abuse (including, but not limited to sexual situations), or content I see as intentionally derogatory (racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, or otherwise marginalizing/inciting violence towards a group of people), or intended to harass/abuse an individual.
-If you are uncertain, please inquire, but be specific in your inquiry so that I might give you the best, most accurate answer.
Refunds
-No refunds will be given for completed/nearly completed work.
-For not-yet-started work, you will be refunded the full amount, in the form paid, minus a 3USD processing fee.
-If your commission has been started, your refund will be based on the amount of time I have spent on it (calculated at the rate of $30/hr, to my best estimation).
-Please contact me via email or FA/Weasyl notes to request a refund. Allow 48 hours for a reply.
-Please allow up to 28 business days for the refund to process.
-Use or threats of using chargebacks will bar you from future service.
Time Frame
-Queue is updated as I work and posted here: https://trello.com/b/ADRk88vY/aggro.....mmission-queue
-I am usually willing to meet specific deadlines, if specified at the time of commission (ie, I need this for a birthday on Saturday). I may choose to decline a commission if I cannot work within said deadline. Additional charges may apply.
-There is typically a timeframe announced for each new batch of commissions when they are open. Please bear in mind that this is an estimation and assume the possibility of the timeframe exceeding that by up to 14 days.
Revisions/Streaming
-Unless otherwise requested, most art is streamed as it is worked on.
-While most work is streamed, there is no promise that the streaming of any individual piece will align with the commissioner’s availability. However, I do strive to be flexible and work with people’s schedules when it is reasonable to do so.
-No additional notifications or personal correspondence is made concerning the day/time of individual stream times. It is the commissioner’s responsibility to check journals/announcements and follow the stream if they choose to watch.
-Exception is made for private or by-the-hour streams which will be held at agreed upon times.
-Requests for minor, timely revisions can be made by the commissioner as the work is streamed.
-I may decline a request for a revision if the image is past a point where I feel it would be reasonable to do so.
-Only minor revisions (usually colouring) will be done after the image is completed/posted.
-Streams are for entertainment purposes only; the images are not collaborative efforts, and are not an invitation to make major changes, additions or micromanage the commission.
Applying For Commissions
-Commission openings, along with the relevant application are made available via journal postings on FA and Weasyl.
-If you wish to purchase timed, by-the-hour commissions, you may contact me via note or e-mail at anytime and the form will be provided.
-Please use a separate application for each image you are applying for.
-Please include relevant references with each application.
-If you feel you have forgotten a detail or would like to update a reference, please update your info in a note or email. A reply to the correspondence with the payment information is typically best.
-Some additional references or information may affect the price of your commission.
-If there are questions about your commission application, they will typically be asked before the price is set.
-There is not typically an opportunity to add more information after applying, so please read and consider your application carefully before submitting it.
Thank you!

aggro_badger Terms of Service
By commissioning aggro_badger you agree to these terms of service. Terms may be subject to change without prior warning. Failure to abide by these terms may result in delay or cancellation of service, or being barred from future service.
Effective: 30/01/2015 - - - Last Revised: 30/01/2015

- - - - -
Your Application may effect the price of your picture if it is...
...especially wordy/complicated/long winded/full of extraneous information
...you lack any visual refs/it is a new, but specific character
(By and large, most applications are fine and I would prefer people to be upfront about what they would like drawn, but flowery descriptions, confusing poses, micromanaging, as well as asking for a character with specific traits without any visual queues can all be just as time consuming as a far more complicated picture).
Price increase does stack (including multiple things listed above will increase the price multiple times).
Occasionally something is so elaborate as to warrant a steeper price increase for only one such item.

All images are posted to FurAffinity as .png files at their full size and resolution.
When applying you may opt to have the final image sent to you via e-mail as any/all of the following...
- .png (same a the FA file, but hand delivered to your email address!)

Hourly Rate
$40 USD per Hour
Minimum 1 Hour
Maximum 8 Hours per Day (hours beyond 8 in a single day at subject to overtime; 1.5x the normal rate).
I get one 15 minute break per 4 hours, and normal short breaks to stretch/get coffee/use bathroom; I'm not chained to the desk.
As much art as I can cram in.
This is geared towards people who would like larger, more complicated images or long sequences.
Rather than itemize ever aspect or your commission, you pay a flat price for the whole day and I draw as quickly as possible.
Some things such as comics, some ref sheets, complicated scenes or backgrounds may only be available at the hourly rate.
Please note me at anytime to schedule an hourly rated stream.
Please allow 1-2 weeks for scheduling reasons.
Either over join.me or picarto.tv, your choice. If you prefer private, join.me will be the default.
E-mail option is free with this, as sending the files just comes out of your time.
- - - - -
Rush Commissions
Commission done within 48 hours of payment. Some limits may apply.
In the event that my slots for the week are already full, but you would like to be fit in anyway (either you're impatient or you need it for a birthday or whatever), you may contact me to ask for a spot.
Your image would be priced at 1.5x the normal cost. (Ex: If your single character image would normally be priced at $40, it would be $60 in this instance.)
If you wish to specify a specific time/day that the commission be done, you will have priority as you are paying extra, but please understand that there is a limit to how flexible I can be with scheduling.

How to Commission aggro_badger - A Guide + FAQ
Posted 12 years agoI've been intending to do a brief How-To kind of write up to help people understand my commission process for a while, so here goes. I will try to edit/streamline it as best I can and answer questions in the comments, and add them to the FAQ as needed.
How to Commission aggro_badger!
Step 1: Take a look at my...
TOS: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/3067062/ (needs some updating, but you get the general idea!)
Price Guide: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5523457/ (updated, Feb 2014)
...and monthly commission schedule (link posted in my FA profile).
Step 2: Wait for a Journal with an Application
If you've checked my commission schedule, you'll see I'm only open for commissions on certain days and for a limited time. Keep an eye out for journals for more up to date information on what time of day I will open for commissions. I also sometimes make commissions available earlier, or post updates to my twitter account. aggro_badger
Step 3: Fill Out the Application in the Journal
The journal announcing that I'm open for commissions will contain a link to an application. Please fill it out to the best of your ability, including your refs*, your commission idea, times you're likely to be able to watch the stream (if you'd like to watch, that is) and e-mail information.
If you want multiple commissions, please fill out the form separately for each commission, including your references each time.
[I will get a screen cap of the application and post it here so that people can be prepared, I just don't have it handy yet. Place holder!]
*It doesn't have to be a proper ref sheet, any visual representation or short write up will do. A photo of said animal, or colour swatches off of wikipedia or http://colorschemedesigner.com/ work well too!
Step 4: Wait For a Note
Typically within 48 hours of the application closing, either myself or
talosar will send out notes.
We will include total price, payment information and ask for clarification if there are any issues with the commission info.
If you feel that you have forgotten any information or references, wait for this note and use this opportunity to reply with that information.
Step 5: Payment
Follow the instructions in the note and pay for your commission. I ask that all payments be made prior to the start of the weekend stream. Typically 10am EST on Saturday.
Step 6: Streaming!
I will stream the entire batch of commissions over the weekend, typically Saturday through Monday. I will try to arrange it so that people's commissions are done during the times that they've specified availability, but schedules change. I do attempt to post in a journal before/during the stream to give everyone an idea of what's happening, but always feel free to stop by. I typically default to people who are present first and foremost.

FAQ
Have a question you don't see here? Ask in the comments and I'll add it!
Do you take...
...Commissions? YEP
...Trades? MAYBE
...Requests/Free Art? NOPE
What is your Twitter account?
aggro_badger
Which types of payment do you accept?
Primarily Paypal, but also Dwolla and sometimes Amazon Giftcards
Will probably also be accepting Google Wallet and Amazon Payments in the future. Working on it, slowly.
What won't you draw?
-Vaginal/Anal/Nipple Hyper
-Vaginal/Anal/Nipple/Penial Vore
-Scat
-Flatulence (comedy would probably be fine, but not of a sexual nature)
-Child/Animal Abuse
(Including but not limited to sexual situations. This does not rule out all ferals, but most non-fantasy feral/human adult content is probably out. ).
-Abusive/Derogatory content of a Racist/Sexist/Homophobic/Transphobic Nature.
Things you'll draw, but with limitations?
-Body Odor/Skunk Spray
-Watersports
-Diapers
-Crush
How big are the images? Can I get a higher res version?
-Typically I draw on a 1000x1000 canvas, though this varies up and down by a hundred or so depending on what I feel the image needs.
I always post the highest possible resolution to FA.
Can you Tweet/Note/Email/Text/IM/Contact me when you're drawing my picture?
-No.
Does my commission have to be streamed and/or posted publicly?
No, and no.
I would generally prefer to stream and post all images, because it's easier on my overall work flow, but I am flexible on both matters.
I can even stream images privately over join.me if that's what you need. I will need ample warning (say so when applying) and there are some weeks where I will not be able to accommodate this.
In some cases this may delay the image by a couple days, so if there is anything time sensitive, please say so upfront.
Please either note me, or add the appropriate information to the application when applying.
Non-posted images are subject to email delivery fee.
How was Scheduling Work?
I take the time frames given to me in the application and arrange people roughly by those, giving priority to people who are present in the stream. Typically I also attempt to fit people with more limited availability in first.
Due to people not always showing up when they say they're going to, and some images taking longer than others, I don't plan out the schedule before hand and I can't give anyone a set time. If you have specific scheduling needs, make them clear on the application.

An Exciting Announcement! (TMI, Personal Journal!)
Posted 13 years agoI think I've already told quite a few people, but I can't catch everyone on IM or twitter or whatever, so here's a journal.
About a week from now,
lunaticmoth and myself are getting married! We're very excited and happy about it. We've been engaged for a while and things have sort of fallen into place that we can hurry it along and make every thing official.
The downside is unfortunately that we aren't really having a proper wedding with a lot of guests or anything. Probably just my immediate family and a few long term friends. There are a lot of people, many here and scattered across other parts of the internet that I've love to invite and have join us, but eh. Maybe some future day we can renew our vows with a more grand celebration. Still! Excited and sure that it will be a great time, and we are very much looking forward to seeing the friends and family who can attend.
As kind of an aside, it means no art stream on the weekend of the 11th.
If you are someone of the gift giving persuasion, our wedding registry is here:
http://www.amazon.com/registry/wedd....._nkdgqb16MZKPF
Or just send money. ;3

TLDR: BRB Getting Married.
About a week from now,

Or just send money. ;3

TLDR: BRB Getting Married.
Personal Journal - TMI/Family Stuff
Posted 13 years agoThis is sort of a strange place to post this, but I do consider at least some of you to be friends and right now it would be very difficult for me to go through and tell people individually.
Also, I feel like I need to explain, because I know that I'm going to be emotionally in a rough spot for a bit and may need to cut back on the number of commissions that I take for at least a few weeks while I get my head together. I also sort of expect myself to be irritable and while I don't think that's an excuse to be rude to anyone, I guess I'm asking for patience if it seem a bit abrupt.
My mom died on friday night/saturday morning. I say both because she actually died on friday, but doctors kept her on a ventilator for about an hour and she wasn't officially dead until shortly after midnight.
I am currently in NY handling funeral arrangements, The funeral is tomorrow morning. Well, 8 hours or so from now. I will probably go home to NC on friday or saturday, not sure yet. I need to work and whatnot, but am reluctant to be away from my friends and family here.
I am very close to my mom. She's one of my best friends and a very important part of my life. I miss her very much. She was only 54 and her death was very sudden and unexpected. She basically got sick and tired and then her heart gave out.
I understand that a lot of people turn to religious or spiritual things for comfort in times like this but she and I are both atheists and I'd prefer not to hear about it, even if you have the best of intentions. I can handle it coming from my grandmother but not from strangers or casual acquaintances. It's over, she's gone, her life speaks for itself.
Thank you for the time you took to read this.
