New Series Idea?
Posted 6 years agoSo, I've had this idea about the movie Zootopia and how the world of anthro animals came to be. Well, the idea is not the most pleasant.
During the course of the 21st and first half of the 22nd century, the exponential rise in technology allowed for complete and total control over human's bodies. With the help of extremely powerful tools like CRISPR and nanobots, we were able to manipulate our DNA at the molecular level. First, it was just used to cure diseases like HIV and cancer, then it was used to help humans cope with extreme conditions on other planets, then people began to replace their body parts with those of animals and even plants. This developed more and more till we had a new species on Earth, anthropomorphic animals.
These new class of humans, originated from the now very widespread furry fandom became more and more accepted into human culture. However, due to the animal traits, they possessed, they were allowed into high management and political positions. The first furry president of the United States of America was elected in the year 2089 and the furry population of over 3.5 billion (out of a 10.8 billion human population). However, the lack of human elected jobs and the increase in innovation meant that the remaining humans were a bit unhappy. More and more riots and protests to improve the lives of humans spread, but the furries suppressed and ignored them. This ultimately leads to civil wars throughout the 2110s in many countries, with the human's rarely winning. Plus, with climate change in full swing and many wild animal populations dying out, animal activist groups like PETA joined the furries as well.
The countries where the furries won the civil wars segregated the human population out. This lead to even more tensions between the nations. Tired of all the segregation and mistreatment, the countries of remaining humans gather their forces and declare war on February 19, 2154. Many battles ensued, leaving millions dead and cities destroyed. The horrible Third World War was disastrous for the humans, who were not only outnumbered but lacked many of the skills and experience from the lack of work to properly defend. Not to mention that if a human was captured, they were either killed on the spot or killed by being converted into a furry using the "gray goo", an army of nanomachines that disassembled the human's body, rearranged their molecules and made them new.
The humans were desperate and had to do something so they did the only thing they could think of. On August 29, 2166, the humans launched a full out nuclear attack on key cities and port bases. The furries did the same and killed 3 billion furries and 5.6 billion humans. The resulting nuclear winter caused crop failure and global environmental collapse. The furries were furious at their loss of life and loss of ecosystem and set out to eradicate the human species once and for all. For the rest of the century, the human's population went into hiding but was no match for the furries superior senses and adaptivity, especially in the extreme cold. By 2200, the last remaining humans in the barren wasteland of Antartica new something had to be done, so they decided to spend the last of their resources to build a massive Ark ship that could support a healthy population for around 1000 years and evacuated around 250,000 people to the Alpha Centauri B star system, where the habitable exoplanet Alpha Centauri Bb became the next home for the remaining human population. The star was reached in the year 2234 after departure in the year 2209. Now, with the humans off the Earth, the furries had a whole world to themselves and they built Zootopia.

Happy Good Friday!
Posted 6 years agoHappy Good Friday everyone. Today, 1987 years ago (in the year 32 AD) Jesus Christ died on the cross to pay the penalty for your sin. What a holy day.
If you don't believe in God or you celebrate a different religion, you do you but don't complain about it in the comments. Thank you and happy Good Friday.

New Series - Flooded Earth
Posted 7 years agoI had a new series idea that might be really cool. Let me know though in the comments. I need all the feedback I can get.
In the year 2020, the Moon was struck by a comet over 1600 kilometers (1000 miles) in size and created a ring of ice around the Earth. For a few days, things are fine but soon some of the driest places in the world are seeing Monsoon-like rainstorms. Every day, hundreds of locations around the world are having rain dumped on them. What is happening?
Then, a few months after the impact, the sea level begins to rise. After one year, the sea level has risen 15 meters (50 feet) and hundreds of millions of people are feeling inland. But the seas continue to surge forward, covering the forests, the grasslands, the cities, the desert's, the mountains. Nowhere on the planet is safe from the rising waters.
That was over 1100 years ago...
Now, in 3538, the human population is living in floating cities in a new world. A world without land. After the rain stopped in 2340 and the sea level rose by almost 15,000 feet, the last mountains on Earth had been submerged. Right? Wrong! Our government has lied to us. There are places in the world where dry land still exists. Will you join me on my quest to start over? To rebuild human civilization and begin a new era of our species or continue living on an oversized cruise ship.

The Tubbs Fire
Posted 7 years agoOne year ago, today, Santa Rosa was hit by the most destructive wildfire in California history...The Tubbs Fire. It destroyed 5,643 structures and killed 22 people. I was forced to evacuate from my house and leave on the 9th of October. It was the scariest day of my life. It wasn't till October 31st that the fire was competely contained.
God bless the thousands of firefighters, law enforcement officials and most importantly the first responders. They were the people who stopped my neighborhood from burning to the ground. They are the real heroes of this world.
