how do you get up in front of people and dance? i have trouble getting the courage to even film myself and i have no idea how to overcome this, the dance competition and floor wars both look so much fun, but my anxiety gets the best of me even just thinking of entering :/

Sorry I don't get on here much, but whats up? the last few days have been incredible.

first, a bit of background and context for this post. I was born with arthrogryposis, a condition that causes contracture in 2 or more joints in the body. in my case, it affected my legs and to a degree my arms/wrists. I was lucky to have early intervention and physical therapy so my condition is not nearly as bad as many others with my disorder, though due to multiple surgeries (one resulting in my both my ankles being fused) and a range of other problems, joint pain is pretty much a guaranteed daily issue in my life that will probably increase with age.

HOWEVER

I was given THC lotion as a late birthday gift sunday morning, and I've been using that the last two days. honestly, nothing i have ever used has taken the pain in my joints away nearly as well as this lotion has. I'm nearly in tears as I honestly cannot remember the last time i was able to stand comfortably and pain free like I can tonight. I'm very excited to try this out at Midwest Furfest as cons tend to cause the most pain to my feet and joints due to all the standing and walking around. if this lotion continues working for me, this may even open up new job offers if it helps me stand for longer periods of time. i'm just in complete awe of how well this stuff has been working for me ;w;

soo i got home from Japan a few days ago :3~ i'm suuuper jetlagged but glad to be home x3 Japan is amazing, it's so easy to get around, and trains are super efficient there. everyone i met was so nice too ;w; super helpful to strangers even. so i've made it a goal to continue learning and practicing my Japanese and go there again to study for 4 months :3

Hey y'all! gonna try to be more active here so i thought i'd make an update. i'm currently sitting in my dorm at the Japanese Center For Michigan Universities in Hikone, Shiga prefecture in Japan! it's suuuuuper beautiful here <3 I'm currently taking a course on Japanese culture and heritage, and i'll be here til the 28th, then off to Shibuya for two days! :D

On a side note, anyone know any Japanese furries, either in Hikone or Shibuya and preferably english speakers? i'd love someone to practice my Japanese with, but i know very little.

i hate having anxiety...it makes me feel like my friends don't really want to hangout with me,,though i know it's not true, just dunno how to change feeling like this D: i dunno how to handle it either v.v

oh gosh i'm so excited. ^________^ waking up around 3 AM to pack everything, get some breakfast and hopefully be on the road by 5 :3 should get there around 11 AM. sooooo excited :D can't wait to hangout with everyone :D noise show is prolly happening saturday in the parking garage, time will be given out thursday/friday and i'll tell y'all where abouts i'll be parked.

so, i'm thinking the show will probably happen sometime Saturday. either playing out of my car in the parking garage, or if anyone has a small amp they would be willing to bring, we could do the show either down by the river, or on the roof. another possibility is driving into an alley way or something nearby, but that would require paying for parking twice, which i'm less inclined to do. anyone wanna throw in ideas?
