Figured I may as well say it...

On Wednesday night I wound up in the hospital due to severe dehydration. I had enough water, but I was apparently lacking electrolytes from my meds, so the water itself wasn't enough. I also hadn't eaten much because I was planning on having a bid dinner with family while I was down there, so that probably added to it (low salt intake).

I am fine, but that gave me a fun hospital bill that cut my anime convention time short.

I had fun at the con at least, and it was nice seeing familiar faces there. I just spent the remaining time I would have spent at the con visiting my folks instead since they were naturally worried about me.

So yeah... that was my week.

Well, it's that time of the year again. I've become older.

Things have been rather hectic the past few months. The past year in general has been something. I do hope I can get back to writing more often this year.

And I want to say thanks to all my friends for being awesome for yet another year!

Well, 2024 has now come and gone on the west coast. We've now entered 2025!

2024 sucked. Sure, the year did have some highlights, but we lost a lot of good people. From celebrities to people we know online and FA, to even people we were close to in our neck of the woods. I too, lost one of my closest friends of the past 10 years.

I want to say that I hope 2025 is better, but with everything going on in the world and us missing people who won't be there, it's a tough thing to hope for.

Nevertheless, all we can do it be there for our friends and family still with us, and carry on the memories and wishes of those we've lost. If we work together, we can hopefully persevere and one day see things take a positive turn.

Despite everything that's happened this year, I hope all of you who celebrate Christmas are able to have a good one! And for those of you that celebrate Hanukah, may you have a happy one too as we enter the first nights. And an early Happy Kwanzaa to those who celebrate it.

And if you celebrate none of those, have a Happy Holidays anyway~

I lost one of my closest IRL friends a month ago. That same week, we lost Dragoneer. And today, we lost  forest-wolf /  spottedsqueak .

Wish I'd gotten to know him more than I did, but he was very close to a lot of the friends I've made in the fandom over the years, so it still hits hard. But as hard as it hit me, I know it's hitting those people even harder.

Even if you aren't a fan of vore where his presence was most felt, you may know Forest/FoWo/FoMo as the creator of the Filter Affinity app that's gotten a lot of use over the years, especially with FA's own filters still severely lacking all these years later.

His passing was completely sudden and blinded us all. I hope he's able to rest in peace.

I just lost one of my closest IRL friends on Sunday... He went to bed fine, woke up in the middle of the night with breathing trouble, and then just became unresponsive. That alone had been feeling speechless most of the day yesterday as I received the news. While I typed plenty online, IRL I don't think I said more than a few words after his wife called me to deliver the news outside of couple brief phone calls with my parents who were checking up on me. I had just hung out with him at a convention a month ago, and he was barely older than me... He had so much left he wanted to do.

And now we have news of Dragoneer's passing. While I didn't really know him apart from his social media posts, just reading about it on top of what just happened has just sucked all the wind right out of my sails. RIP Dragoneer.

Well, that time is upon us once more. I've gone once more on this marble around the sun.

2023 has been quite the exhausting one on my part. Been a super busy time at work that's basically been non-stop since May with little break time. Fortunately, I'm approaching the end of the busy time soon. I do like my job, but it certainly keeps me busy.

Anyway, as mentioned before, I didn't get as much writing done this year as I would've liked, certainly nothing that I plan on post here anyway as they're for larger projects not ready to be seen by the public. I plan on getting back into the writing scene over here soon and hope to have to stuff to post.

Merry Christmas, everyone!

It's been... an eventful holiday for me. Not limited to my dog getting bit on the face only 2 centimeters from the eyeball, resulting in an infection near on the inner eyelid. Doggo will be fine, thankfully.

Also been super busy with work for several months, but I'm finally done with most of the busyness, so I'll hopefully be able to get back to writing now. Plan on doing some this week.

Anyway, hope everyone has had a good holiday! And if you don't celebrate, I hope it was a good weekend regardless.

So, yeah... It's my birthday again.

Years are going by faster. Still want to try and get some of my major projects released this year. Hope to have something for you all, or at least some one-off stories if those aren't ready.

Here's hoping 2023 is a good one! We need one after the past few years. I will admit plenty of good has happened in 2022, it's just just so much bad happened in the world to counter that.

Anyway, I apologize for the lack of updates this past year. I've been busy. I was hoping to have a bigger project launched for all of you this year, but it still need a bit more time in the oven. Hope to have it for all soon!

It's that time of the year again. Every year I get a feel a little bit older.

Yep, that's in 2 weeks. Really is approaching that time already. Posting a journal so people don't say "Why didn't you tell me?" :P

I have to say, this year has honestly been better for me than many, so I can't complain about that. The year had a lot of downs, but my new job has really been a blessing during a time when I'm lucky to have it. Others haven't been so lucky. For those of you who haven't had a good year, I hope 2022 turns that around.

Anyway, sorry for not posting any stories here this past year. I have indeed been working on things, just not stuff I'm ready to post yet. I hope to change things this year!

I'll be away on Christmas, so I'm wishing it to everyone now on this Christmas Eve!

So I got a job and will be moving at the start of next week. I may be offline for a day or two as I set things up. Also, due to my job, I'll no longer be working from home, so I'll be online less frequently.

I've been busy preparing for this for the past month, so there's a lot I haven't been able to get done. I hope to get more writing done in the future, as I hope my new job won't leave me as drained as my previous one.

So yeah, this is happening in 2 weeks. Years are just flying by now.

Well, it's certainly been quite a year, and I'm thankful to see the end of it.

So I've been meaning to write a bit more than I have lately. I've decided to work on that by offering some $20 short story commissions. You can expect them to be between 4 and 6 pages, or between 2,000 and 3,000 words. I normally charge up to $30 for something like that.

Well, 2020 is upon us. Honestly, 2019 was not the best year for me. Well certainly not the worst, I've definitely had better.

And so, now we ring out the decade and celebrate a brand new one! Hope to have more stories and stuff for all of you soon!
