General | Posted 9 years agoHas tush tag and hang tag. Asking $350 which includes shipping within the USA, fully insured and tracked. I'm hoping to sell it outside of ebay to save on ebay fees. >> Payment through Paypal only. Any takers?
Also going to be selling a mirage Blastoise plush once I figure out what to sell it for. Maybe in the same price range. PM me if you're interested in either one. I can show lots of pics of either one.

PWYW Stream Commission Interest. Comment here please.
General | Posted 10 years agoMy ToS: https://www.furaffinity.net/journal/4560744/
NOTE: I hide comments for those whose commission I've completed. If you'd like another PWYW slot, please place another comment. Thanks <3 No limits on slots, but I will only do one at a time per person in stream. If I just finished yours, you'll need to let some other people go before I do another for you. ty
---
I'm ready to do PWYW Stream Commissions very soon. This journal will be a place for me to refer to when people are in my stream and want a PWYW. This is to keep things easy to find. (Don't know what my PWYW commissions are? See below first, in the quoted section with bolded text) Here's how it will work:
1. Post a comment here with a ref of your character, the price you'd like to pay and any keywords you'd like for the drawing; "tasteful", "cute", "beach wear" etc.
2. When I'm ready to do a PWYW stream, I'll post a journal clearly labeled "PWYW". You must be in stream to get a drawing.
3. When I'm ready to move on to the next person, I'll say "Next" and whoever says "me" (or any variation; "me plz" "me next" etc) first will be chosen. Please don't "ME" without having a ref/comment here!
4. You'll give me your FA name, I'll come to this journal and get the ref, you pay me, and I draw the picture, in stream.
Your comment in this journal does NOT guarantee you a slot, nor does it place you in any one position. First comment does not mean first drawn, so take your time gathering the correct ref and deciding on good keywords. What matters most is being in stream and responding when I ask for the next person.
DO NOT GET SALTY IF YOU MISS A SLOT. PLEASE. If I see someone who is consistently trying to get a slot and not getting it, or I really want to draw for a specific person, I will sometimes make exceptions and specifically pick the next person. I have a really hard time sympathizing for someone who whines, complains, or generally brings down the mood in the chat. I often do enough PWYW commissions that everyone gets one eventually, so please have some modesty and respect for me and everyone else in the chat.
What IS a PWYW Commission, you ask?
Many artists have their own variations, so here's my exact run down. A PWYW Commission is an on demand, "Pay What You Want" commission. It's meant to be easy for me, with some freedom and fun. They're stream only so I don't feel overburdened with a queue. They're great for the buyer because you choose the price you can/want to pay, and you get the drawing instantly, drawn live. No waiting days, weeks, months, for your drawing!
I offer a set quality/style for these drawings. If you give me more money, it usually does not result in a better drawing. The point of PWYW is to allow me to do more than one drawing per stream. My usual commissions take me anywhere from 6-12 hours to complete. I don't want to do that! So, pick your price based on what you think I deserve, or what you can afford, or whatever, and expect a similar drawing to the examples, and no more. If I feel I'm spending too little time on a drawing, or a character is more simplistic, I will sometimes jazz it up a little, but generally, the quality will be consistent between drawings.
So basically, I have a set style that I will draw. You pick a price based on whatever factors you deem appropriate, and you get a same-day drawing done live, in stream, if you catch a slot.
PRICE NOTE: While I do allow low offers, please do not low ball me badly. $5 is not enough to cover my time spent on your drawing. Part of the appeal of this is allowing those who can't normally afford a commission from me to get a drawing, but let's not abuse it. If all you have is $5, consider waiting until my next PWYW stream. I surely would appreciate it. :')
I do ask that you provide the amount you'd like to pay ahead of time. I only ask for this because it will allow me to intervene if someone is planning to pay way too little. I don't have a required minimum, but $1, or $5 is just too little. Or if you have a character with 9 tails, or large wings, or leopard spots, $10/$15 is much too low, as well. Please consider my time when picking your price. If you'd like an idea of what others pay, the last time I did this, average was $30-$50. There were some above, some below, but most fell in that range.
Quality example: Basically it is an image that is drawn at a smaller resolution (1600 px on the largest side, max), with a tad sketchy lines, and simple shading. Usually pinup poses, or something on the simpler side. No mechs, vehicles, complicated objects, etc. One character per image. Both examples are NSFW

SO. Want a PWYW Commission and plan to be in stream the next time I host one? Comment below with the following info:
1. Applicable refs. No text, just images, please. Drawn only. SL/IMVU refs are usually not clear enough.
2. Amount you'd like to pay.
3. Keywords you'd like me to consider. "Feminine" "Nintendo games" "cosplay" "desserts" etc
Thanks in advance. <3

REMINDER: Giving out free art in exchange for loan money!
General | Posted 10 years agoIs it still considered free in this case? I'm not sure.
But the basic idea is that I'm trying to raise funds to help my mom buy land to settle down and start on living her dream life. I've had a fantastic response so far and we're both super appreciative! I figured I'd make a little reminder journal here, so if you're interested in helping us, we've still got a little ways to go. Everyone who loans me money is guaranteed to be paid back in full with 6 months, and you get free incentive art as well! I successfully orchestrated this a couple years ago, meeting my goal of paying people back and delivered all art, so I hope you'll trust me again!
Here is the full post: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/7336873/
For those who wanted an update on the situation, we've got disappointing, but not especially terrible, news.
1. My mom made an offer on the land last week and they did not accept it. She wasn't expecting them to, as it was a bit low, but she offered all we have currently.
2. My mom has so far only seen photos of the land, as she is in another state. She's decided to wait until the weather clears up a bit, then she's going to fly to TN, check out the land in person and make sure there aren't any hidden issues with it.
3. In the mean time, we'll still be pooling our money together. Once she's visited the land, she'll submit a more substantial offer, assuming we've gotten enough money.
4. My sister was going to contribute as well with her tax return, but apparently her student loans went into default when she thought she had them deferred, so she's not getting a tax return this year. That's $2,000-$3,000 that we were expecting to have. D:
I'm hoping to do a PWYW stream soonish for anyone who doesn't want to loan money but wants to help. c:
And that's it! Thanks for reading!

Loan me money and get free art as incentive Part 2
General | Posted 10 years agoTL;DR: Loan me money and get a free drawing as interest. You get your money back, and a free drawing.
This is gonna be a tad long because I want to be transparent. Skip to the numbered section if you don't care about backstory.
In 2014, I asked you guys to trust me and loan me some money so that my husband and I could help my dad buy a home after the house he was renting went into foreclosure. He was just barely unable to afford the house he wanted. Thanks to you guys, I was able to give him a couple thousand dollars toward his house, and he got it! Everyone who loaned me money received the money back within the time frame I gave, and they all received the art they were promised (with the exception of a select few who didn't want any art, just their money back, you guys are awesome). Between that and how long I've been doing commissions and interacting with the community, I'd hope that I've earned some trust along the way.
Now I'm back, wondering if anyone would be interested in a similar arrangement. My mom currently travels the US with her husband in an RV. He works as an electrician and goes where the money is, but my mom is tired of traveling. My mom has always dreamed of owning her own land in the country, but she has not been able to find the right place that offers everything she needs and is within her budget over the last couple years. She finally found some land in Tennessee that has everything she wants, but it's $7,000 out of her budget. She's already tried multiple negotiations, but the seller is insisting on cash only and wont budge on the asking price.
This is something my mom has been committed to for a couple years now, and I'm hoping I can help her get enough to buy it. I can't make art fast enough to takes commissions to cover this, so I'm hoping the loan idea works a second time around. Here's how it works.
1. You send me as much money as you're willing to trust me with. It can be $20, or $2,000. No limit. SRStudiosArt[at]gmail.com
2. You send an email with your FA name, amount sent, and Paypal email address for my records. (Details below)
3. I stash the money in my bank account until my mom has enough, combining her money, mine, and the loans from you guys, to buy the property.
4. My mom and I will stay in contact and if we get enough money, I'll send the money to her and she'll buy the land
5. I will pay off everyone who lends me money within 6 months. Some will be paid off within the month, others later.
6. As a bonus, every single person who sends money will receive art from me. So you get 100% of your money back and you get a drawing as interest.
Special notes:
1. In the event that my mom is not able to make the purchase, all money will be returned immediately.
2. I'd appreciate all loans be sent as a GIFT to avoid Paypal fees. HOWEVER, it is your choice and if you send the payment as goods/services, I WILL, as I did last time, return the full amount you send, including any fees Paypal takes. So if you send $20 and I only receive $19.50 or whatever it is, you will still get your full $20 back.
3. Any loan art will not be started until after I've paid everyone back, to ease the stress on me. I will get your refs once I'm ready t start the art.
4. I will continue taking commissions over the repayment period and working on art for others so that I'm able to pay my own bills, and repay everyone who sent money.
5. If the amount sent is less than $10, you will get a very quick sketch. $10-$50, you will receive a refined sketch, no color. If it is above $50, you will receive a refined sketch with color and shading. If you sent a very large amount, we'll figure something out.
If you're interested in helping out, please send the money to SRStudiosArt[at]gmail.com via Paypal (again, I prefer it as a gift but it is your decision). Once the payment has been sent, please send me an EMAIL to the same email address with the subject "Loan - HFMM" and your Paypal email, amount sent, and FA username in the description. The subject line is VERY important, as I'm going to have Gmail autosort the emails so I wont lose them. This will allow me to be able to easily keep track of everyone. It worked out really well last time.
Thank you so much in advance. <3 Hoping we can make something nice happen once again. Sorry to ask like this, but I really want to help her. ;o;
If anyone is nervous or unsure, I can get a few of the people who donated/lent money last time to vouch for me. If you're one of those people and willing to speak up, please do. <3 Thanks!
Amount received so far- $3,250

Where have I been? (Not important)
General | Posted 10 years agoObviously, I'm around because I keep posting Pokemon journals.. but I'm still getting some people asking why my activity is low.
9 months ago, I had a baby and that has really taken up a lot of my time. However, once he hit 6 months, things started to get easier and easier. He honestly doesn't take up a ton of time compared to when he was younger. He's almost able to crawl though.. Who knows what will happen then.
Two months ago, my dad moved in with me because he needs daily help. He wasn't getting it where he was, and I live an hour away from him, so this was the better choice. This has eaten up a lot of my time, and added a very large amount of stress to my plate. Any free time I have is spent either resting, spacing out, or drowning my feels in Pokemon.
I have a handful of commissions that I owe timeblader so I'm still drawing, just not as frequently. Streams may or may not happen, but I can't make promises. Between my son and my dad, I'm rarely ever able to sit uninterrupted for an hour.
I've also been asked a few times if I plan on leaving FA. That is not the case. I'm just busy. :>

Pokemon Request Journal
General | Posted 10 years agoCLARIFICATION: Not drawing your characters, just general Pokemon.
Like my art? I'd hope so, if you're watching me. Like Pokemon? Me too.
Post some Pokemon you'd like to see me draw. You can also suggest poses, themes, etc. Can be anthro or regular version. Wont do porn of either, but will do suggestive anthro Pokes.
I will take ideas from this journal any time I want to draw a Pokemon in the future.

Do you collect Pokemon? O RLY?
General | Posted 10 years agoI'm working on a Pokemon themed room. It's... very slow coming. :U I'm just not sure what all I want to do exactly. I've got a custom shelf idea planned, but that's going to require a lot of measuring, sourcing materials, and such, and will be a large project. I also want to frame some of my oversized cards, since wtf else do you do with them? :U
All I have atm are the painted walls ( link ) and a small bookshelf with the entirety of my Pokemon collection sitting on it, just waiting to be organized throughout the room.
So anyway. Do you collect Pokemon stuff? Plushies and toys and such? Where do you put it? I'd love to see Pokemon only rooms, since my room is Pokemon only. I'm just curious how people decorate without it looking cluttered.
Or maybe you don't have a big collection, but you have something Pokemon related that's really awesome? Show me, so I can be jealous and tell you how cool you are.
idk, I'm bored and really thinking about Pokemon right now :(

I want to commission a cheap sketch. Apply within.
General | Posted 10 years agoLooking for someone who can draw a sketch quickly (within the next few days) of my character Tee: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/15730302/
I'm looking for a full body, unclothed sketch that I can color. I want to play around with an alt design for Tee, and I want fresh art to doodle on. So, if you're okay with that, comment below with examples and prices.
Looking for someone comfortable drawing petite, small chested ladies with long ears and muzzle. She's mostly cat, but her muzzle is longer than a cats.

Are you in Japan? Or do you import from Japan? PLZ
General | Posted 10 years agoJapan gets all of the best Pokemon items. I was watching someone on Youtube open up surprise Disney capsules, where you can a random figure inside with some little goodies like candy or stickers. I thought "That is perfect for Pokemon! I wish they would do that"
As it turns out, there ARE surprise Pokemon capsules. They're just sold in Japan. I have found figures that come in Pokeballs, as well as figures that come in chocolate eggs. I really want these things. @_@
Do I have any followers who have access to items like these? I'd be willing to pay money or art to get Japan-exclusive Pokemon items shipped to me. I especially want these surprise things, but I'm interested in various Pokemon products in general. I have a Pokemon themed room and I'd love to fill it with things, especially Japan-exclusives. Anything sold in the USA, I can get myself.
Anyone got some Pokemon stuff they'd be willing to send me? Especially if they're in Japan, or import from Japan already?
If you wanna discuss details, my email is SRStudiosArt[at]gmail.com and I'm usually pretty quick about replying, if I'm not doing stuff with my son or sleeping.
Examples of the capsules I'm referring to:
One, Two

Show me an interesting character/species
General | Posted 10 years agoI don't want to see a run of the mill fox, wolf, cat, etc. Show me something you don't see too often on FA. Brownie points if it's an original species (yours or someone elses, but the character itself I'd prefer to be yours), but real life animals are cool too. Non-furries are fine too, as long as it's uncommon but really cool.
Examples of things that are uncommon and cool:
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16602978/ (wow cool)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16985715/ (species combo)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16528069/ (species)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16763581/ (these are getting commonish but still)
http://www.furaffinity.net/view/16732582/
Things that are generally not uncommon:
Wolves, Foxes, Cats, Rodents, Lapines, Cervines, Bovids, Reptiles. Any of these creatures that have an uncommon feature to them are fine though
So, let's see. Show me something interesting.
EDIT: Okay, wow, such response, much cool stuff. I need to get back to drawing though, so my replies will dwindle from here on out. Feel free to keep linking though, and take a look at the other comments. There are some cool things in here!

Still around - just busy (Sketch artists, do not fret)
General | Posted 10 years agoFor those waiting on art, as well as the sketch artists I've asked to contact me, please be patient! I'm having some troubles coping with being a mom. :') Shit's hard. yo. I'm working on art in my free time to catch up on my queue. Once I've got that settled, I'll start replying to the sketch artists. No reply from me does NOT mean I'm unhappy with what you sent. Everyone will get a reply eventually, with a yes or no. I hope I haven't offended anyone with my silence. Please hang in there. <3

Looking for sketch artists for hire
General | Posted 10 years agoEDIT: I'm leaving for the evening, so my responses will be minimal. If I don't respond, don't lose hope. I will hide the comments of people who I think definitely wont work well with me, so if your comment isn't hidden, there's still hope. If your comment is hidden, please note that it's simply for clarity's sake and I appreciate your initiative to apply. If you want me to provide a reason for not picking you, you may ask. Otherwise I wont say anything because I personally don't like being rejected, no matter how kindly and would rather it be silent. ;) Up to you.

I'm looking for someone(s) to buy flat rate sketches from that I can use for YCH commissions. These wont be collabs in the typical sense. I only want the sketches, and I'll do the rest.
~ You will be credited for the pose/sketch with a clickable link back to your userpage. I'm not here to steal anything.
~ Once I pay for the sketch, I will have the rights to do whatever I please with it, within reason (AKA I wont sell it as is. It's meant to be a collab and I'll do my part), including changing any anatomy, limb positions, expressions, etc
~ You can post the sketch to your gallery if you're proud of it, but I wont be very happy if you decide to finish the sketch, as my commissioners should be paying for a unique drawing, unless otherwise stated. Once I pay for it, it's mine to finish.
~ The sketch can be as basic as a mannequin-like blank faced pose, or as detailed as you want.
~ The final product may have no trace of your style in it, or it may heavily reflect your style. You have to be okay with either option.
~ You will be paid a flat rate per sketch, regardless of whether I decide to use the sketch for a flat rate, adoptable, auction or base commission.
~ You will choose your price per sketch, which we'll agree upon before I commit to the sketch.
~ Once I claim a sketch, I will pay for it immediately, but may not sell it right away. You can then present more sketches, or we can be done with our partnership. No strings attached, no commitment. One and done, or keep em coming.
~ All files will be handled over Dropbox or Email, and payment via Paypal in USD.
~ Sometimes my style doesn't work right with someone else and it has nothing to do with their skill. If I decide that your sketches aren't doing it for me, please do not be offended. Sometimes it's not you, it's me.
If you're interested, please link examples of your sketches and what you want per sketch in a comment. If you can do basic or detailed sketches, and want to offer both, please provide examples and prices for each.
Once an artist has been selected, there is no pressure to provide a sketch right away. You will sketch anything you want, whenever you want, any rating or theme, and then present the sketches to me. I will pick and choose which sketches I can work with and pay you for them. Any sketches that I don't pay for are yours to do whatever you wish with. We can continue the partnership for as long as we are mutually satisfied. I can provide you with a list of themes that I like upon request, and if you'd like, I can also give specific pose ideas, if I can think of any. I'm not confident in my posing and sketching abilities lately, which is why I'm looking to outsource the job. ;) But I can try.
Any questions, please leave a comment. Do not note me for any reason. If you want to ask a private question, please email. I'm willing to work with multiple artists, so if you see me comment "omg yes plz" or anything along those lines, don't be discouraged from posting. I'm also leaving this up long term, in case I need more sketch artists later.

HIATUS - Commissions closed
General | Posted 10 years agoThose of you who have been following me for awhile probably already know that I have a bad wrist. I push myself too far and need to take a break every now and then. Well, I guess carrying around a 10-15 lb baby is too much because this is the worst my wrist has ever been. I have a large ganglion cyst, and occasional shooting pains that go up my arm.
I can't stop carrying my son, but I can be more careful about it, and cut down on my drawing. So, I'm going to finish up all of my obligations at a slow pace to avoid over working myself and then I'm going to ease back on commissions. With some assistance, I'm financially set to last until the year is through, so hopefully that'll give me enough time to finish what I owe, focus on other projects for income and take it easy for awhile so I can enjoy time with my son.
Here is what I'll be finishing up over the next 6 months:
Commissions in my queue: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5966205/
Bust Commissions: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6388414/
$15 Sketch commissions: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6634135/
Character Redesign Commissions: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/6772771/
Otter SL texture
As well as any YCH collabs already discussed.
I'm only linking these for my own reference, and to alert anyone who is waiting on any of those. I will be getting to you soon. Commissions are officially closed. If we discussed a commission and you're not on any of my lists, please contact me. Thanks!

Who is open for commissions?
General | Posted 10 years agoI am having a really, really hard time. I don't know what else to do to make myself feel a little bit better, so I've decided I want a sketch commission, with color. Doesn't have to be anything fancy, just clear enough to see the characters and color because I like color. I'm looking for someone who can draw babies, as I'd like my sona and my son's sona drawn together in a cute, cuddly picture.

EDIT: Having an exhausting a frustrating day. Too tired to look through these now, so keep posting. I guess timeframe isnt as important since I can't even pick someone right now. Maybe I'll feel better after dinner. Thanks for posting so far!

Want a redline? CLOSED
General | Posted 10 years agoDeleting this journal tomorrow
Post a link to something you've done or are doing and I'll do a redline or paintover for up to 5 people.
I can't promise I'm very knowledgeable but I'll do my best. SAVE the results if you want them, as I clean out my Dropbox often, and will delete this journal when I'm done.

Show me your green characters (or green hair)
General | Posted 10 years agoDespite me having green(ish) hair for awhile and green being one of my top favorite colors, I actually do not like green hair or green furred characters very much. Show me some green, and maybe change my mind (or reinforce my opinion haha)
Also show me some cyan/blue and purple combos because that's my favorite so why not?
Here is my green haired character:

Please give me a NSFW warning if necessary. I'm not at work, but I'm a very modest person and unexpectedly opening a tab with orifices is a little shocking to me!

Character Redesign - CLOSED
General | Posted 10 years agoOver the years, I've had instances where someone would commission me and they'd give me free reign to change any aspect of their character design during the process of their commission. It's made me wonder if anyone would be interested in a commission specific to me changing their character. I've decided to put up this journal for a short period of time to see if anyone wants to humor me.
For $30 I will draw a sketch of this quality: http://oi61.tinypic.com/2mq3yvb.jpg (but with color; no shading/lighting)
You will get two versions of the sketch. 1 will be of your character as is, and 1 will be of a redesign of the character.
That way if you're unhappy with the redesign, you still get a colored sketch commission. You can keep or discard any aspect of the redesign. You can ask for specifics too, such as "Leave colors the same but play with markings" or "Change colors and species, but leave markings the same" or "Only change the shades but keep the hues the same" etc
Anyone wanna give it a shot? Wont be first come, first served. Full out the form:

Need help with drawing a background - natural setting
General | Posted 10 years agoI've been working on a drawing for about 9,000 months, give or take a few. The background is kicking my butt. I can't visualize it in a way that is appealing to me. Can anyone help (with art, a "redline", not words)? I can offer art in return for your assistance. Just link me to some examples of your background work. Or you can sketch right onto my drawing if you wanna help for free. <3
They're meant to be in a magical jungle with a very high dense canopy. Plants don't have to be realistic, but shouldn't be too alien looking. The cat is meant to be peeking behind some reeds or other foliage. Her right hand is pushing it aside so she can see clearly.
