Moved + New Job + Art Updates
Posted 7 years agoHey everyone, I know I haven't been active the past couple weeks, and I apologize!
But I do have some good excuses for it!
I recently moved in with my girlfriend and one of my best friends in the city, so that took up a lot of time between planning, packing, moving everything 3 hours away from where I was before, etc.
I've also started a new job as of last Monday, and I absolutely love it so far!
Due to all these drastic new changes in my life, I haven't been very active on anything but Facebook lately.
In fact, this is my first time on my laptop since over a week ago. xP
So, since I am off work today, I will be updating those who are expecting art from me. Whether it's a trade, commission, etc.
I will be working on owed art today, and will be focusing on commissions a lot more now that I am settled in to the new house.
Though, I work evening shifts, so I will not be able to work on digital art until after 10pm AZ time.
I will also have a lot more time for personal art after I clear my commission queue, which I am very excited about!
Unfortunately, this means I will not be taking commissions that often anymore.
Now that I am working for a company fulltime, I will no longer have the time (or sanity) to keep up with such a large queue.
I just don't like making anyone wait this long for their art. But I really appreciate the patience you've all had with me during this time. ♥
It would just be very hard for me to catch a break if I took as many commissions as I used to.
I may be getting a second part time job as well, so that'll really knock me on my butt.
I've just hit that point in my life where I need to save money and focus on my future, and I am very excited about it.
But don't worry, like I said, I will still be posting art and attending conventions!
(and I may have more time to do art trades depending on how long y'all are willing to wait!)

I really love the suit, I just can't wear digigrade padding too long without my hip and back getting fucked up, and I'd hate to have the suit just sit in the dust as it basically has since I've gotten it. ;__;
I'd rather him be worn by someone who doesn't neglect him.
I'm sure y'all understand. ;u; AJ will be back and better than ever.

it's been so fucking long since I've been on this damn site.
So let me start off with why, because I'm sure my commissioners are not happy. ;-;
As I stated in my journal before, I moved to Mesa, AZ on May 4th.
I've been here since of course, job hunting, stressing the fuck out, dealing with a lot of unnecessary drama, etc.
But regardless, I am happy to be here with my Corrie feg. ;v;
We have not had wifi at the apartment since I moved here, so that is why I have not been able to contact my commissioners, or look at my commission list for that matter. ;3;
My laptop has some kind of virus that's effecting my USB ports, they will accept EVERYTHING BUT MY FUCKING TABLETS.
So,
gave me an old laptop to try and use for art, if that doesn't work, then I just have shitty luck with tablets and I basically give up and will refund all of you...once I get some damn money in my account. l:
I apologize for the inconvenience, it's a really shitty situation and I never wanted to be THAT artist. :c

Onto the brighter side, Corrie and I did attend BLFC this year and we had a blast!

As I stated in my journal before, I moved to Mesa, AZ on May 4th.
I've been here since of course, job hunting, stressing the fuck out, dealing with a lot of unnecessary drama, etc.
But regardless, I am happy to be here with my Corrie feg. ;v;
We have not had wifi at the apartment since I moved here, so that is why I have not been able to contact my commissioners, or look at my commission list for that matter. ;3;
My laptop has some kind of virus that's effecting my USB ports, they will accept EVERYTHING BUT MY FUCKING TABLETS.
So,
gave me an old laptop to try and use for art, if that doesn't work, then I just have shitty luck with tablets and I basically give up and will refund all of you...once I get some damn money in my account. l:I apologize for the inconvenience, it's a really shitty situation and I never wanted to be THAT artist. :c

Onto the brighter side, Corrie and I did attend BLFC this year and we had a blast!
I'll be posting some pictures of that stupid Shepherd running around. (I really didn't wear AJ that much, everyone else did xD)
I know y'all enjoy my fursuit pics though so I'll post a few of my faves from the con!
I'm glad I got to meet some of you, it was a lovely con and we will be back next year!

Life+ Art update
Posted 10 years agoCommissions are still getting done, I just haven't had much time to work on art.
I'm moving to Mesa in exactly one week, and am working straight through at my job until the 30th, on top of hanging out with everyone before I leave Sedona so I've been hella busy. ;-;
I'm also gonna have a busy first two weeks of May since I'll be unpacking and getting settled in to the apartment, exploring the city so I can adapt to my new surroundings, job hunting, then going to BLFC the 13th-18th.
I apologize if anyone is wondering where their art is, but I promise it will get done. I will find a way to work between all the things I have to do. I highly appreciate everyone's patience and I hope the wait will be worth it<3

Tablet Issues - !!!Commissioners Please Read!!!
Posted 10 years agoMy new Digipro tablet is shitting on me just like my old one did, only worse..I have no idea how it keeps happening, I take really good care of my tablets but I have the worst luck with them and they always die on me after a few months..I have a shitload of commissions I need to complete.
If anyone in Arizona is selling or willing to donate a tablet that will actually work, please let me know asap! I live in Sedona, and will be in the Mesa area for the weekend and will be attending the Denny's meet Saturday night. So if I can pick it up or if you could bring it, that'd be great! ;-;
I really can't afford to buy a new one, and I have no money to pay back my commissioners..this really fucking sucks and I am so sorry. But commissions are on hold until I can get ahold of a new tablet..ugh my life..

But yes, Corrie and I are gonna be moving to Phoenix before, or when Summer starts.
We will be moving in with, and Corrie's gonna be moving up there probably next week or at the end of this month to find a job, house hunt with Fracture, and get settled in to the new house before I get there, BECAUSEEE
I'm taking my permit test in a few hours (Wish me luck), and after I get that, gonna drive my ass everywhere until I'm comfortable enough for my license. After I get my license, I'm leaving for Phoenix the next day. (Will more than likely be in May, so there's a chance we might not be able to make it to BLFC this year..but we will try really hard!)
I'm gonna be saving all my tips, and every cent of my paycheck while also taking commissions between now and then. So if anyone's interested, I'm open! Just please keep in mind, I am a SLOW artist and your commission MAY take a few weeks to be completed due to other commissioners on the list before you.
Now, I also have created a Gofundme donation account.

Posted 10 years agoSo I'm pretty sure my tablet has officially and finally pooped after having a fucked up cord for the last 6 months. I'm gonna be ordering a new one on Friday, so commissions will be held back for a week. I apologize for any inconvenience, it's completely out of my control. :c It sucks cause I wanna draw and get all these done so bad, but of course something had to come and be like "nope, fuck you AJ."
I'm really sorry, but at least I'll have the money to get a new tablet in a few days. I'll post a journal once my new tablet comes in.
