And I'm really, really sorry. I've been busy with college stuff, regular school stuff, other random stuff, and very particularly, US football stuff...

And very few of you know, I kinda... Maybe... Destroyed my knee
Upon first investigation, my Dr said it was partly a hyper-extension. And I'm afraid that is what I'm sticking with. I won't get a scans done until the rest if the season because, well frankly, my team needs me back. They've practically been begging me to come back... And I am going to start again tomorrow night.

In other news, house life now is strained, for reasons I'll keep within my family... And I'm rarely home.

Which is where colleges come in...
I've pretty much been accepted into the one that I want to go to, with one acception. I must complete 3 art projects: 1. Create a self portrait in which you are part animal (how convenient). 2. Design a poster that shows the health benefits of dancing. And 3. Design a magazine advertisement promoting a healthier alternative to sugary drinks. And I forgot to mention I'm switching my major to animation/graphic design blaaah.

The highschool factor: really nothing actually. I'm just babbling on. The interesting thing is that my friend and I built a hydroponics unit up in the greenhouse, now we just need to develop a pump! I was elected on to homecoming committee, so I and a few other men are in the running to be king. If I make it, I'll add that to my char some how. Oh! And the quizbowl team and I went 4-1 today! Giving us a good lead, and an even better shot at playoffs!

But I really need to stop because the real purpose of this journal is to make sure all of you awesome people, all 84 of you, are faring well... Yes, everybody can respond, I would love to hear!

That aside, I was at the Penn State game against UCF, which PSU lost.

And to my shock and despair.... And I began to cringe.... What Does The Fox Say started playing over the loud speakers. My friends wanted an explanation, and I told them they were better off not knowing the song.

On the bright side, I got to see one of the greatest fursuit dancers I've ever seen! The Penn State Nittany Lion! And there's something you should know... I've been in that suit, for a four diamonds charity event when I was younger. Just a fun fact!

Sorry for a journal two days in a row.

I'm here to rant about how excited I am. Since we're a really small school, we don't offer many classes. I'd originally signed up to do an independant study with a couple of friends, and we chose geography. WELL that didn't work out as planned because the company we're doing this through doesn't have the course.

Naturally we looked through the list, and to my disbelief, we all settled on one class. FUKIN' FLASH ANIMATION AHEATVJYSCJGSTHCS I never thought I'd see the day!

Little internal explosion is finished, carry on.

And I don't know what to say. Tomorrow is going to be very weird. Regardless of whether or not I am ready for this last year, it's coming, and I'm nervous as hell. My last year playing sports. My last year eating scheduled lunches with friends. My last year seeing all these people I've come to know and love. It's surreal for me and I haven't even graduated. Looking back, I'm sure I'll miss this and wish I was back. But the truth is, I'm ready for college. To get my degree, to become a marine biologist, aka my dream job. I'm ready to see the world and visit all of you lovely people here at cons and make lifelong friends.

If I could write a poem about how I feel right now I would. It's an amazing and terrifying feeling. Then again, I may just be over thinking this.

So all I have to say is. Bring it senior year. Make it a year that I'll never forget.

How do so many people have money to attend various cons and get TONS of art... I seriously worked my ass off this summer on a farm from 6AM-12, and I maybe just have the money to attend FE At most right now.

So I'll be insanely busy for a while with upcoming sports/senior year and I'm going to really need to focus and get stuff done, etc.

I won't be on Skype much, you're more likely to catch me on notes, I suppose, for a while.

So I went back and got rid of the majority of my journals. Mostly to get rid if anything "cringeworthy"

I've actually been meaning to do it for a while. It just takes a while to get rid of journals, especially when you had so many pointless "updates". My bad guys!

First off, I'd like to admit that I have been on FA for a couple years, and I'm still too terrified to click on the nuke all submissions link and find out what it means...

That being said...

Summer seems to be wrapping up for me! Today I went to the gym and had a good lift, tonight is going to be a sushi and movie night with friends. We're going to see wolverine! I cannot express how happy I am about this. Then tomorrow is more lifting, and then the local news is having an ICC day with Interviews for all team captains in the area. We have heat acclimation practice all week in the afternoons.

Next Sunday, however, is my last day of freedom. The following day begins the the football season with a series of practice to which we refer to as two weeks of hell. TWO-A-DAYS. This will be interesting, with new PIAA rules setting in. After those two weeks, my last year of high school begins... So I'm kinda excited as well because when school begins is the earliest that I can apply to colleges ^_^!

I have come to find out one of my favorite experiences of all time, is sitting down and strumming along with the man that taught me everything I know about my guitar. I haven't seen my grandfather for a few years, and man did we have a good time, just the two of us. He taught me a thing or too more, and I had to show him my skill that I developed on my own. It's a good feeling.

He said I had greatly impressed him and am making him proud. I learned a song that he tried to show me in five minutes, and he said there are few people he's ever met in his years that can pick up and memorize that fast. Gave me a little boost!

SO TO ANYBODY OUT THERE WHO PARTICIPATE IN SONE TYPE OF ART, WHETHER IT'S MUSIC, WRITING, OR ILLUSTRATION, go back and sit down with your mentor. Shoe them your progress and have a general good time. You may be surprised what you here out of them. Even if they were straight out of the military like my grandfather.

Well, I happen to be AJ's character that is from A disclosed location on the British isles. Broderick happened to be a welsh name. I think it means son of a great ruler! I don't know really. On second thought call me Brody. I'm not "posh"

I really don't know. I'm actually built. Play sports, mountain climb, etc. and I know some marshal arts. Particularly judo, so I know how to use your body against you. But my answer is what any high school basketball coach could tell you. It's all match ups.

I'm a vagabond of sorts. Never really knew my parents. I don't mind the seclusion, but I appreciate the friends I make, like Clovis, AJ, Dorian, and Wynn. All like my brothers.

Droughts, ignorance, loneliness, being referred to as "adorable", I do get that, I'm a fluffy, huge tailed, slightly purple marten!

Being out on the water, marine biology, biology in general, genetics, contemplating the universe. I love astrophysics. I love to tell stories and sing as well.
