Wait, what happened? Why Kayrom is going to another FA page? Has he run for commission money? Did he make a drama with people? Is he ashamed of his past? Has Trump deported him (lolol)?

I am not the generic people that does that kind of things.



The reason of this rather simple. I have reached 10 years as an artist and calling myself Kayrom. I said to myself 10 years ago, that I should change my avatar for a new one so I now call myself Clerian. Nevertheless, I have no problem answering as Kayrom.

I have, right now, a new gallery. This gallery will be frozen but I will not be erase anything on it so it acts as a time machine for the people that wishes to see my old art.

I will boot up my new gallery with some old works since the last thing you saw was from 2013. You will see a lot of things have changed.

Kayrom is not dead and will not die soon, he will act as any of my other characters and will have his own stories and activities in which he will be drawn. I no longer have the avatar of blue dragon warrior since Clerian is a much calmer dragon. Kayrom represents an adolescent type stage so to speak.

Hi people. Today I come with some news.

-I’ve had a Facebook page for some time. If you wish you can follow me there, I use to publish some drawings there. OMG it says my real name, well I don’t care, I’m Kayrom:

-I also announce that my appearance in Weasyl was delayed. I said it would take a week but it ended being a month, lol.

-Also my gallery has folder yay.

-During this month I’ve been working in a renovated sketching style that will let me consider my sketches as completed works. You will start seeing that in my last drawings.

-These 2 last month have been very active in drawings production since 2009. I’ve focused on reviving my competitive nature; it is probable I would get better.

-I’m recovering from a depressive period; I only have the energy to focus only in my art.

-I no longer have economic problems and I’ve been feeling better in Mexico.

I’ll soon be 24 and in 2016 I’ll celebrate my first decade as an artist. (I started taking art seriously in 2077 but since 2006 I began to draw and make stories). So I will publish some old drawings hahaha, wouldn’t that be nice?

-Winter is coming. (Also it is my favorite season).

Hi guys, I’m here today to tell you that I’m now using again my old DA account (Kayrom) and I’ve also opened an account in Weasyl (~kayrom) in order to expand my artistic reach a little bit and also to interact more with you.

I’ve had a really nice month where I have met a new friend after being hermetic in front of the community. I fell that friendship makes me more human and also a better artist because it lets me “settle” a lot of things in my daily life.

I’m still an artist with firm and sturdy convictions, with a permanent vision of being better by my own means. But I’m in a process of eliminating my bad temper and the “dehumanization” that has led me to be out of touch with the community for a long time. I want and I will be a better artist but my work now implies in making a better person out of me for the purpose of stopping embittering myself and others.

Well…my DA account has been active for some weeks as of now. I suggest you to follow me there to see any kind of material I wouldn’t publish in FA.
My Weasyl account will remain inactive for 1 week more after this journal in order to give you some time to follow me there too. After that time I will start to publish drawings over there. As a result, I will be in 3 different places.

It would be awesome if people from FA also follow me in DA and Weasyl since these places are somewhat alone.

Hello guys. After being back again in FA I have been thinking about several things and I want to ask you about them. If you have something to say I invite you to publish it. I am all ears and just keep your posts civilized.

Well…maybe you have seen it but my drawings are starting to dwindle in their performance lately. What I mean is that they are getting less and less faved than before. They are even being viewed less to my shock. I am still trying to figure out the cause of it but I also want to ask you if you have any idea of this. Sometimes I think that people just don’t like my art or the way I am and to “punish” me they just ignore my art.

Another thing that puzzles me is what a fav means for the people in this site. For me it is a form to say “thanks” to the artist that put work on their submission but lately I have seen that people give less and less favs. I even see that I get the same quantity of favs when I started at this site. Do you give favs as thanks or just as a bookmark for your favorite posts? At least in my case I am grateful for all the favs I manage to make and try to say thanks for that for new people seeing my stuff. From my experience from this site giving a fav is like pressing the like button in Facebook but I want to hear you about that.

Maybe seeing me asking this type of questions may be weird for you but sometimes I get really frustrated when I spend a whole week making a sketch in order to give it with no strings attached for you and then I see a crappy drawing made in a few hours with lots of feedback and are even praised. Some are even rushed commissions. The versions of my work that I put here are like 1/4th of their original size so they are a bigger endeavor than they look. I think that maybe people are tired of my sketch and line art drawings. In the last drawing I published I tried to spice things up a bit but it is still the same. I feel that I am putting a lot of work for just getting a little whisper in comparison to those other people I talk about.

Now I am not saying that the support I receive from all of you that already comment and favin my drawings is of less value to me. I won’t name you because you are several and also to avoid being politically incorrect.

It is just that I wish to have a little more support and grow.

EDIT: Thanks for your responses but I think that it is important to clarify that I am already doing what I want and don't put a lot of attention to negative comments. The problem is recieving the same support as the work I put on my works.

Hi FA people, I hope you are fine and enjoying spring.

First I want to say that my Facebook page is dead, lol. At least that has removed some burden and now I can focus entirely on my FA page.

Well, as you have read in the title, I need money. Actually, I am in Mexico as a “tourist” living with my mate Breise and I can’t get a job because I am not a citizen (I am making the paperwork in order to stay here). I also have a minor health problem that makes me have vertigo and that makes thing a little harder.

At this time it is my mate, Breise, the one that supports me entirely and I want to help him since he is doing too much effort. My goal is to help him with my art with whatever aid I could get from you. I would hope to do something like paying some bills or food.

That is why I would like a goal of 20 or 30 dollars by month. This is the minimum I need to help my mate. If you wish to help me that would be awesome.

I will be completely honest with all of you. I am not dying and neither will I pretend that I need the money now or tomorrow I will be homeless. I am not the type of artist that feigns that among their visitors to get some easy money. I only ask for money as a type of donative and as a favor since I gift you my art without any obligation.

I was thinking of using one of those pages for donatives or subscriptions (Patreon or the like). Maybe you could help me find something.

I ask myself how many people would be willing to give me something.

And lastly, opening this donative act will not mean in any way that I will restrict my publishing in FA. I will keep uploading here in the highest quality I can and with all I have got. But obviously I could gift to people my art in 15k by 15k resolution or even more. My work resolution is pretty high and because of FA limitations I have to tune down the resolution.

Just like the title says I’m returning in a matter of days or maybe less time.
IMVU’s situation in FA remains inconclusive for me due to the excessive panic and disinformation that has appeared in the community. Also if someone wants to steal my art he would do it anyways even if IMVU exists or not. The good thing is that my art is and will be free forever. So, in theory, I should not be preoccupied by someone stealing it and selling it since it is already free here in FA (it is dumb to buy something that is already free).
I have a pretty high number of sketches, inked drawings and completed drawings waiting to be published. Although I have to organize which I publish first, I am planning to do it based on their creation date so the ones that are coming should be from when I stopped publishing in 2013.
So stay alert for new stuff.
I just hope that FA does not change its account policy because there is also the fear that exclusive accounts or privileged access accounts would appear. I think that won’t happen.
FA has lost lots of people since the IMVU acquisition scandal; I doubt it is willing to lose more.
I hope I still enough people to show my art here.

Hello people,
I greet you from my new home at Mexico accompanied by my mate Breise. All has been going good and it seems everything will be fine in my future as well.

Well, I wanted to talk about my actual situation but some days ago I learnt about (like everyone else) IMVU’s buy on Furaffinity. This is something that is causing commotion to more than half of FA users and could affect artists badly.
I am no the type of paranoid or conspiracy person but “selling whole Furaffinity” to a company that supposedly only wants to put advertisings and “give economic aid” is totally a lie. IMVU is a company (and like others in general) that seeks economic benefits and that is exactly what Furrafinity doesn’t need (and maybe even can’t do). Since the past Furrafinity was corrupt, thanks to Dragoneer and other people in the administration, but it also was kind of an “island”. I want to say that Furaffinity was no perfect, but it was part OF EVERYONE OF US because it was remote and independent, it was our chaos, our problems and well, it was a place where no company could meddle (although I have been a lot of time outside from it I keep visiting it and I sum up as part of the community in a situation like this).
Now it is not only more corrupt than before but now it is owned by the worst part of the internet which are those social network companies than only seek benefits no matter what. And this means that it FA does not deliver economic benefits (or any benefit at all) to the new owner we should prepare for aggressive changes and/or the closing of FA.
IMVU is a company that sells virtual objects and that includes the art of many people. When a company wants a good, like Furaffinity in this case, the good to buy happens to be now property of the buyer and that includes the content. Of course, FA’s policies says that art is protected, but those policies are now part of IMVU’s properties.
I viewed FA’s future as blurry and uncertain because of the corrupt administration. But now I am 100% sure that not only it will have a blurry future but also full of suffering for those that want to maintain intact their intellectual properties.
I am not the type of guy that sells his art or put limitations on it, but I don’t want to see my drawings being sold without my permission by a company like IMVU. There have been cases where IMVU users stealing other artists’ works and selling them in the site. Heck you can even see in the post about the notice and check several links that show people doing that in IMVU in the comments.
I defend my intellectual property as public that means that I have published my art with the best quality as possible with no limitations (free) for everyone and I don’t want it sold illegally. I don’t make money with my art and I would want anything but a company making that for itself!

In the past I hoped to get to Mexico and then wait for FA’s new interface in order to “reboot” my activity in FA. But I have not seen something really new with the addition of learning about this corrupt selling movement.

And, in the case the worst doesn’t happen, I feel that IMVU’s intervention in FA could lead FA to turn into a social network, thing that is exactly what FA doesn’t need since the original idea was to be a gallery. Suddenly society triumphs against the artist, the one who shouts louder will be the popular and not the artist…well that happens now already and even before FA…you know where the art buyer with pony aspects wins in support when compared to the artist.
If FA doesn’t clear up its situation or if I, in my investigation about this, don’t reach a positive conclusion about FA’s sell I will be obliged not only leaving FA for good but also obliged to remove my art because of the terror it causes me to see my art being sold.
I’m sorry guys, I know some of you hoped me to come back and even I started to have the pleasant idea of returning and start publishing again but all this revolution in FA is touching very important subjects and I don’t want to see my art being sold by a company or third party without my permission.
Be thankful to Dragoneer because of his 100% unethical movement and put in a harsh situation the few artists FA still has along with the community of users, because he is treating them like a herd.
Please put your opinions with freedom, if someone has real facts about the situation (moving aside from the official administration post, which I don’t believe at all) please give post them and share them.
For the moment being I will not make any movement to abandon or remove my gallery, if someone want to continue seeing my art download it in the case that if things get ugly and I end erasing all my work.

Hi FA people!

It has already been ayear since I left.
A lot of thingshave happened in the world, internet and my life. Specifically, my life has been full of positive changes that have led me to mature in everything.
I wanted to come back, even if it were for just a moment, to tell how I have been. I have noted several people asking for me here and also I’ve received some watches even when I haven’t published anything new, which of course I am thankful for.

2014 has been a year of deep changes and twists in my life. In January I only had the typical goals of finishing my academic year in college, make my drawings and investigate about technology, stuff I normally do. But it is now November and things had changed so much that I’m planning changing of country and live with my mate. Also I have built my fist high end gaming PC after spending more than 2 years only looking news and investigating about hardware, I built 2 more PCs to some friends and I have entered a computing community too.
I’m going to Mexico in 2015 to start my life as a couple definitively with the probability of never returning back to Chile (Chile will have an economic crisis in 2 years so that’s another reason for leaving).

I’m still drawing as I normally do, getting better every day with all the freedom that I’ve always enjoyed with myself (without gaining any money or popularity) only for the pleasure that art means for me. I’m still an artist and having stopped publishing my work in the internet has not been an obstacle at all. I have a lot of new characters and themes created during this year; it has been a good moment for innovating and, at the same time, making my drawing quality even better.

Curiously enough, I have seen how in 2014 the 4k standard has become strong in the market. Even apple just launched a 5k display iMac. I remember that in 2013 some people argued that publishing drawings at 2000 pixels was absurd and my answer consisted in the fact that I draw at 900 megapixels because quality is vital in my work. It seems time ended proving me right, 4k displays really show my art pretty well when I compress it to 5000 pixels, which is the resolution in which I put my drawings when they are finished.
So, my friends, quality should always come first, it is a responsibility, I’m not over there making drawing at 800 by 600, I draw at 900,000 pixels and now I have the perfect hardware that can handle it.

As I said before, I built my first PC after spending many years investigating about hardware. I have a desktop with a water-cooled FX-8320 that is overclocked and a beautiful R9 290X. I put my new desktop as a participant in the Boinccommunity; it reaches a peak of 6 teraFLOPS. You can make any question about my PC. I have called it Mighty Wyvern I, I made logo for it too hehe.
I’ve also built other 2 PCs one with an A10-7850k and a R9 270X and another one with a FX 4350 and a R9 270.
I’ve exceeded my progress expectations and I wanted to share that, I say that when you wish something and work for it , you can get all of it. I’ve achieved all that defines me; I work passionately no matter if my goal is intellectual, professional or material. And more than anything, I make and work in what I want.

Let’s hear how you have been during this time, tell me how you have been in your lives and what you have been on FA, the internet , etc.
I’m still thinking the same about FA, the same I said in my journal a year ago. In fact, I’ve been analyzing FA from outside during these months and alarmingly I’ve seen how the site has been getting worse in line with my predictions (a prediction that was overly pessimistic, but the even so is getting real) that ranged from performance issues to the proliferation of non-artist users.

It is something surprising that this does not stops striking me when I visit FA once in a while. I imagine that people at FA does not trust the administration, isn’t it?

Sometimes I would like to publish again my drawings in the internet. In the last journal I told that I was creating a site for that purpose but all my money went to my pc and it is impossible to make it anymore since now my goal is going to Mexico. I don’t like FA anymore and it is not an option at all. I was thinking of using Wasyl or any other site, it could be fun to try something new I don’t know. I like the interface Waesyl has and its display adaptability (I plan to have a 4k display in some months).

I won’t erase my art in FA, it would be incorrect for me to stop sharing what I’ve already shared with you (just as in programming hahaha, the correct thing to do is always to share).

I've been thinking seriously what to do with art gallery in FurAffinity with the help of my partner Breise.
After years of being in FurAffinity and improving my art dialy, I have realized about the grave situation that makes real artists to retire. Honestly, it is not a coincidence that the majority of 100% real artists have left FA already, or disappeared or even just erased their galleries. This is because FurAfinnity is full of “users” that are not artists in any way, obviously I will not say names.

Of course you are wondering about which “class” of user I am talking about.
I am talking about the users that abuse vectors, those that abuse that so famous Rule 34 to become popular quickly, those that copy cartoon-like styles and steal techniques that are false and hypocritical. Also those so called “art-slaves” enter this category, these persons literally sell themselves, to the point of being like prostitution. They make this just to be, again, popular, but it is evident that this type hide people without talent and social problems that do not and can not draw freely.
Only 1 of each 10000 users is a 100% artist.

Are you asking why?
Mainly because the artist is and must be free, if not his creativity is nothing more than a good that is sold for money, popularity or anything else. Simply put, I draw because I love it, I was born to be a real artist and I am one effortlessly because each day of my life IS mine and it is not tied to economic or popularity goals.
An artist is composed of various factors, that if even one fails he automatically stops being an artist.
These are creativity, ability and freedom.
A user without creativity is just an impulsive copycat that will steal any style that can vary from animation studios to artists that are available to the sight of his eyes, for example, doing Rule 34 of Disney characters. This person will copy characters and stories that are just in front of them. There are many examples about this and what is pitiful is that they are socially accepted and even praised, when these in reality these users lack of what is most basic, the sentiment of being an artist.
A user without ability is ,shamefully, a frustrated artist that never finds a way of expressing himself or lacks that “spark” that lets his style to be better, this keeps them plunked in low quality styles or leads them to copy styles that will never let them close the growth process and transform themselves in a true artist.
A user without freedom is what is commonly seen as a commissioner, a user that gives requests and/or trades impulsively because he need desperately others' help with everything else (acceptance, protection, easy money, you name it). In correct terms, he is dependent of people and have fear of solitude since when they are alone they meet their true selves. Then they realize how horrible their person (or persona),along their lives, is and is made just from lies and appearances. Art slaves also fall in this category and they are the users than offer themselves to the public to make anything they like, leaving their dignity in the process (and also throwing it in a thrash can). This type of people tends to have a socially friendly image but they are weak emotionally because they are not the owners of their own lives. They are universally accepted because they are always what others wish. For these people being an artist is impossible.

What is worse about all of this is that a culture where the user is supported, and not the artist, has been created. Real artist are unappreciated or left aside because they are more traditional and realist in their attitudes, like me. What am I trying to say with “realist”? I am telling that the true artist is not a gold coin that everyone likes and trades with, but rather his conduct is human in real life and do not manifests the hypocrisy commonly seen by those that need of others like a placebo against the fear of rejection.

I ask myself why people has neglected to support the real artist in behalf of people that lack one or more of an artist's “basic” characteristics.
It makes an impact on me and makes me sad to see popular users that draw really bad, do not have creativity and moreover are buffoons of everyone else. The proud image of the artist like the one of being able , metaphorically, to steal from gods the spark of creation and fine art has disappeared. I am trying to describe the image that shows art to people for the pleasure of everybody, but without losing even a pinch of dignity. I mean those people that are called masters of the arts, that individual that exerts his vocation as a life and not like a way to make money or fit on society, the true artist in soul and spirit.


For me, making art is my reason of awakening and being in life, it is the work made with my hands with the only goal of expressing what I feel and capture in my lines the powerful imagination I have cultivated since the first moment I had reasoning. I am, until now, one of the few artists that complies with the 3 basic requirements and the only one that can say, without doubt, that is a real artist without losing his dignity o making himself ridiculous because my voice says the truth, I am not manipulated by social dogmas or economical prejudices. I am one in a million.

Should not be the example of being a good human being the appreciated one?
What is not funny is that complying with these 3 rules is really easy, but in spite of that there are people that don't even can comply with one.
Things like these are what make me to question my stay in FurAffinity. I Always have and have had the good will of publishing my art in the best quality I can make so that any person can have it and use it as they wish. I can brag that my creativity is unique and always original, I am undoubtedly free.


Logic tells me that if I do everything right I should have support, but things are really wrong in FA and other sites. It seems like if the real artist is the one who is rejected and marked as a rebel in front of a new culture characterized by recycling and being insensate.

Also I am aware of that because of the fact that the quality of my art is high but my popularity is low and it has stagnated.

My question can be put as what is there to be done.
At this rate FA seem something difficult to carry on. It has become something from that I do not receive minimal support and appreciation to worthy users. So, there are only 2 alternatives left for me: Continuing, situation where everything could continue stagnated and I would continue to be with egoist people. The other one is abandoning my FurAffinity page because the gallery is right now a load that does not satisfies me. I like the second alternative more situationally. Just by the simple reason that I kind of imagine the future of this site and I am afraid that this place is in the way of collapsing in a couple of years under the proliferation of mere artists and the extinction of real artist, among other variables.
Obviously I would continue to be be an artist, but only privately, no one else would see one of my new drawings in the near future. Since I am not tied economically and socially here, it is just as simple as opening my wings and fly until I disappear.
I only wanted to make clear the truths that are law.
It is still undefined if I stay or not here but I will not erase my galley, it will be just like it is now, but there won't be any new publications. I am not like those cowards that make social dramas, I am here for serious business, not for feelings that can lead to a destructive conduct.
I will only change my mind if the situation also changes.
I leave this to your criteria, but the decision is mine.

Here is a list of other reasons to leave FurAffinity:
1. Its interface is primitive, inefficient and uncomfortable.
2. The site is plagued with performance issues.
3.Constant downfalls and unavailability of the service
4.FurAfinitty will not endure 2 more years being like this, it will a critical failure on its servers because of its terrible programing made by imbeciles and incompetents.
5. Blatant and constant robberies caused by the sites administration. They make fake goals to buy hardware that is always never used, or it is used pretty badly. I mean, seriously, all of their renovation projects never see the light of day and this have been going for YEARS.
6. Excessive corruption in the ticket system and presence of bias in an amateur administration.

I've been thinking lately, because of my mate's suggestion, about publishing some of my future drawings sketches. In reality, not all of the drawings I make end up being completely finished and just stay as unpublished sketches, but they are have a very good quality. I believe publishing them is beneficial since you would have to wait much less time between completed drawings since it generally takes at least a week just to ink a drawing up to its final coloring stage. This happens because of the heavy manual work it takes to make the drawing and by doing this there would be less “time holes” between projects.

So I want to know what you think about this, all the sketches will be uploaded in ultra high definition (2500x2500 pixels). Also, my sketches all nearly identical to my completed drawings , but with the big difference that the lines are rough sketches and are not as perfect as the inked ones that take some time to be made precisely.

Well, aside from the thanking and petitions, I want to talk about an idea I have. I want to create a fan page in Facebook so that you can follow it with motive of my gallery (there is no other motive than making it for my art, there are no dramas or economic problems on its creation hahah), this way I would publish sketches, work in progress and screenshots about future drawings. I’m celebrating my first drawing in getting 200 favs and I feel very happy with my followers, visitors and partners that have liked a lot my art ^^ . Sincerely, from the bottom of my heart, I give my thanks to everyone that has cooperated with my art and make my page grow more all these years.

Lately, my family has had some economic problems and I had to get out from college because of the national strike made by students, along with the monetary problems.

Well, my problems had been growing even more because of my mother’s desperation (parents I mean, hehe); she wants me to start working this month and the next one.
This is a great problem for me.

Do you want me to continue drawing? You really want it, right?

If only I could pay my expenses (internet, electricity and food) with…only 40 dollars a month, that would be great.

A month ago I made my first PayPal account (Yay!!) and I don’t think I would take commissions, I can’t and I don’t like them. But, I can receive donations from others, as a support for my art (since I make them with all the quality I can and while being free for everyone) and as a little thanks. If I could get 5 or more dollars per week, I would be very happy, this way I could cooperate in my home while working full time with my art and ,also, you could continue seeing my progress on my drawings.

Since my beginnings as an artist I worked with high resolutions, by 2010 I already worked with resolutions up to 15,000 px…now in 2011 up to 30,000 pixels in Photoshop and PNG formats, which retain the maximum quality of the drawing canvas.
