I wanted to put this out there because I've been noticing a concerning trend of commissioners or requesters assuming that because they commissioned someone, or requested art from them that automatically makes them friends. This is an incredibly incorrect take, although many artists (myself included most of the time) may attempt to build a friendship with you, this is in no way something you are owed as a commissioner, and to act like an artist has to talk to you outside of their work when you are not familiar is incredibly weird and para-social of you.

"Oh but they're just using me for money and aren't wanting to talk to me," do you expect the checkout guy at a grocery store to be your friend too? Again, these bonds can develop over time, but giving someone money does not mean you are friends, paying for a service is simply paying for a service.

Hey, if you've happened to do an art trade with my friend  Akarithedittaloid please watch out for comments under your work, there's a user called BearcatDarlal who has been consistently been leaving hate comments on both her art and art people have made for her, they also have an alternate account they use to evade blocks called darla12345567891. We have no idea why they are doing this but they seem to be targeting anyone who has interacted with her and will go out of their way to harass you on other platforms if you block them so please be careful. I've been told Akari has tried to report them before but to no avail so unless staff does something the best thing you can do is try to block them ahead of time.
