Had a great time at the Rocky Mt. Fur Convention in Denver this weekend! It was a learning experience for me as far as what type of Art i need to sell and make for this type of convention. :D I did learn alot and I'm proud to say Tak and I managed to put our booth together without much difficulty. Though, I do need to invest in some type of shelving displays. But, we didn't pack nearly as much useless stuff, the hotel was nice (though a bit further than we wanted to be from the convention).

So, I've been waiting to hear back from a contest I entered to win a tablet for awhile. Today, I got a message with a link the winners and, at first i thought i'd lost, i thought, oh, i got 13th place. So, i showed my roommate who immediately told me I won.

had a great day at the zoo today! I got to spend a little time with my new friend  mazz, her daughter and my little brother, then later I met up with  takmouse for dinner. Overall, day well spent. Now, back to work on Monday.

:) Sometimes it is good to just good to have the company of interesting people who know way more about animals then i ever will.

I am super excited that i have been getting commissioned, and would love to get more of them so feel free to message me about it.

As for me, my little brother is visiting, we're having fun and trying to stay out of the southern Colorado heat.

Rode in an elevator with Eddie McClintock from Warehouse 13, he was very nice. He invited us in the elevator to fill it even though tak, my brother and i were loaded down with our product and displays.

My first Con went well, I made a little money but, i think with practice I can do better. NOW, Tak and i are looking into having a booth at the Denver fur Con. :D

So much left to do for the Denver comic con and i haven't finished getting ready. i just have no motivation to cut out card stock, price and unload my car. Hopefully a little cold weather comes along to perk me up.

Also, i do have characters for sale, i'll try to figure otu a way to post it on the forums. I have trouble using the code it wants' me to use, the normal HTML i have for FurryPaws doesn't want to work. :P

And, dun dun daaaaaa, one of my brothers will be visiting me for a whole month! I'm so freaking excited to have him around.

Finally have an Etsy account going thanks to Tak (my roommate). She's always bothered me about getting one started and i've always though selling my art online wasn't going to be productive. *shrugs* but, i finally have one and i'll try to make sure i keep it updated. :)

spent the morning face painting many butterfly's, wings, a car, lady bug and flower at a walk for M.S. located in our town.

It was fun but i have alot to learn about face painting. Over all, i find the paint rather uncooperative most of the time. I owe a big thanks to  takmouse for her help. She did a wonderful job painting a monkey, dragon and captain america.
