I just thought I'd say hi... and get the last journal off my page.
If anyone's wondering how I am after seeing that, I'm feeling much better now.
I've just come back from a really good weekend in London for Runefest, so I'm ready for a nice, quiet day at home. Now to decide what to put on the pumpkin...

I lost my mother two weeks ago, and had the funeral earlier today...
I'm not sure what to say, really.

A friend described her as "Ethereal, clear, bright, bold, brave and beautiful... the sort of person who continues to inspire the minds, hearts and actions of others long after they have left your company."
She was a very kind and caring person, who was prepared to fight hard for her freedom and that of her family and friends, and particularly that of home educators. She had very many friends - more than I'd realised before today.

Any sympathy would be immensely appreciated.

Today marks two years in the furry fandom for me.

I don't really have anything special planned, but I feel I ought to thank all my furry friends, particularly  Dreamer1413,  SimbaTheLion,  Izlude555,  Sr38890x,  norathevixen and all the people in TFC for helping me feel welcome.

And even though they'll never know, I shall thank Randall Munroe and Jimmy Wales, without whose (inadvertantly relevant) efforts I would never have joined this magnificent group of people.

Pretty much just what it says in the title. I'm going away for a few weeks, starting on Friday, and probably won't get chances to check FA until a three-day break at home from... I think it's the 2nd to the 4th of July. Then another two weeks and I'm finally back at home properly on the 18th of July.

Considering the fact that I just hit 250 watched-people, it'll probably take me those three days just to sift through my messages. I'm daunted already.

Fox sound effects, specifically. For a game I'm working on in Game Maker 7, so public domain, please.. I'd prefer .wav files to .mp3.

The most important ones I'm after are yips of happiness and yelps of pain.

If anyone can help by pointing a few out, please do!


...Oh, found some. But if anyone can point me in the direction of something which could be used as a chicken distress sound effect, that would be great!

Hi, I'm new as an FA user, though I've been lurking around without an account browsing for quite some time now. I would appreciate any help I can get in finding my footing.

I currently don't have much ability to upload stuff, so I'm going to be just watching and chatting for now. I hope to start uploading in at most a couple of years, though.
