Not even a day after I made the announcement about Rabbit Valley going digital, the first of my books is already available for tree-free purchase.

Those of you who have preordered the book -- and that was quite a lot of you. I was blown away by just how many, in fact -- may have gotten copies of the book with a printer error on one of the pages. You now own a true colectible, so to speak. Rabbit Valley will be in contact soon to arrange for a replacement copy.

I attended Hasbro's NY Comic Con release party about a week ago, and they gave us a Toys'R'Us exclusive, glow-in-the-dark Zecora! I've been told it's rare, so there we go. Want it? Well, the next 20 people to purchase a copy of my book (link below) will get a chance to win it. Want to increase your chances? Buy a copy for your friends ^.^
This is just a creative way I found of getting rid of cool swag I get from work -- in my line of work, I get a LOT of it.

It's been a looong time! After a superbly busy month of August, I finally have a publishing update. Streets of His City and Other Stories is now available for pre-order from Rabbit Valley.
This book has lovely cover art and interior illustrations by the wonderful Fennec, and a cool bonus story! So please pre-order and/or spread the word. This otter appreciates it very, very much!
In other news, I will be attending RainFurrest. If you do as well, and you wish to get your copy of Streets signed, PURCHASE THE BOOK AT THE CON. If you pre-order, it won't get there in time for RF. Additionally, I will be on a bunch of writing panels there, as well as simply hanging around and enjoying the con. Come say hello ^.^

I am happy to say that most are simple things like 'it' vs 'is' and 'form' vs 'from,' but if you have already downloaded the eBook, I would suggest updating your version.

So, unless you're reading this from your TARDIS, Anthrocon 2012 is just a little over 2 weeks away. Sweet! I'm gonna be there, so totally say hi if you happen to make it over there.
In addition, and this is the real reason for this journal, I will be doing a reading from The Prince of Knaves onn... Saturday? >.> Don't quote me on that. It'll be in the schedule. At that reading, I will be giving stuffs away. That stuff includes copies of Prince and a few BluRays I got from my old job - I reviewed movies and video games. That's right, be super jealous. My current job just has me doing video games. Still pretty sweet.
Well, what does it take to win something? You gotta read. Read what? Well, Sarin Barneby and All the King's Jewels, of course! I will ask several questions from the book, and if you answer them... you win! Yaay! And everybody's happy. Except for Clark Kent... he's just an idiot. Sorry, I'm watching Smallville right now (middle of season 5), and Kent is just constantly doing dumb things. Team Luthor!
Anyway, hope to see you all at AC!!! Or else.
