Well, I've always been drawing stuff for myself and for friends on my free time so I figured I'd officially start up with the commission business, yeah? I really would like to do your nerdy commissions! Y'know like your characters dressed as anime, video game, comic book characters... that stuff is my favorite. But not a requirement.

My cat's bone cancer was extremely aggressive and after it took over his left eye it invaded his sinuses and it was becoming too difficult for him to breathe. If I waited any longer he would've started to really suffer. Even though eating, drinking, and breathing was hampered he acted like he was hardly bothered at all, he was a real trooper.

I had a Gofundme open for his vet bills for all of his osteosarcoma x-rays, diagnosis stuff, and medications and while he may be gone now I could still use a little help to cover those final expenses.

So as of just yesterday my father has passed away due to complications with Parkinson's... he was only 70 years old. He was really in declining health, and though I'm very sad that he's gone at the same time i can be grateful he's not suffering anymore. I know I hardly use this journal thing but I felt like I needed to type this out somewhere else as well, if anyone reads these at all.

I could use any words at all anybody has, because this is going to take some time to even sink in let alone get over. Thanks for reading...

Been over 4 years since I last updated one of these, does anybody actually read these?

Nothing much going on here to speak of, just bored and messing with FA!

I realize I've had my Halloween commission journal up for nearly a year now, so I figured I'd change it out.

I'm looking for an animated icon as well as a pinup. Post your commission links and rates here and we can discuss what I want in particular.

Any takers? Looking to spend less than $10 for a flat color picture of Aliksandr dressed as a Green Lantern.

If not, anyone got any ideas who is willing to take a commission/request such as that?

I'd like a full picture for about that much, but I'm also looking to make it into an icon on my own with Photoshop. So my only real stipulation is I'd like to see the Green Lantern symbol clean and visible on his chest close to his head that'd work in an icon. (Or the ring near his face, clear and visible with the symbol)

So turns out I wasn't admitted, I was covered but not severe enough.

So I decided to kind of go into seclusion for a bit, the only reason I felt I needed hospitalization was to get away from my friends and family for a while. Don't worry, I'm safe and accounted for I'm just taking a bit of a breather from life, friends, and most of my family for the moment to cool my head until I see some new doctors.

So, I'll give the full details, and I'll be willing to talk once I've got a clear head, both medically and just in the normal sense.

I'll be around, send me some comments or notes, or what have you, I just won't be directly replying to any of them until I feel better, which... I dunno how long that'll take, but I'm still here, and I'm still okay.

Well I can't lay claim to all or even most of the pictures I have up in my gallery, with the majority being either gift art or commissions. It's really nice being able to have a lot of Aliks art history up for all to see. Thanks to everyone for watching during this landmark!

Man, I haven't updated my journal in months. Not like I have much else new to say, I just thought I'd clear the waters because it's no longer my birthday some 4 months later, lol.

Been going through some rough times as of late, but my friends have really been helping, new and old. Hopefully I'll be able to pick up the pieces. Dunno if I'll be able to draw again right away, but the community here does help.

Wow, I gotta say this show has got to be one of the best western cartoons in a long time. The storytelling is solid and the twists were more fulfilling than most of the movies I've seen in the past couple years. Practically all of the characters introduced throughout the show had a meaningful purpose in the probable end to the show.

I highly recommend this show to anybody looking for a new, serious cartoon to watch. I'm still blown away from the series finale.

Avatar was amazing! It at a really moving story with some incredible visuals, especially in 3D. I nearly started to cry during this movie, and I never ever cry at movies!
