Posted 5 years agoAnd this time has come again! UPDATES!
First of all, both FyreDraygg and I are on exam period and... It's terrible.
Study drains a lot of time and energy, we're usually quite busy and tired. I still try my best to stay online, but I won't hide it's quite hard.
My last exam didn't go so well... I need to study more, that's all! (But I passed the Eglish exam, one less!)
This period will end on March (I have just one left on April but it's ok!).
Post frequency will slow down from one picture every two days to one every four days; I don't have many drawings to share right now ^^'
With all funds collected with commissions, donations and personal jobs I managed to get a new fantastic computer!
I considered a lot buying the Wacom Workstation, but I would have spent less buying a nice pc and a new Huion drawing tablet.

I am still using my Lenovo drawing tablet, but it is showing problems over and over, so I think it is time to change it.
I've almost reached 2/3 of the total amout to get the new drawing tablet. Some smaller expenses are waiting after that and my personal workstation will be completed!
And after this large purchase... the FUNdraising pool has officially ended!

Lastly, some not-so-good news...
My medical situation is quite bad. I've already talked about my diseases on our Telegram Channel; to keep it short, some medicines don't work anymore on me and I need to completely change therapy. I feel generally sick, tired, I have a 1-month-old continuous fever and itchy skin.
I have funds to take care of myself, don't worry! It's just a matter of time and patience (which I absolutely don't have).
Fortunately my next dermatological checkup is tomorrow
If everything goes right, commissions will reopen on March!
Only some formats will be available thou, but some special offers will be released as well!
I have great projects for it~
Apart from commissions, I will personally try to draw my characters and dragons more frequently!
As I already explained, I didn't gave enough space to draw what I truly like, so this is a good moment to do so.

Posted 5 years agoRecently I have been thinking about the value of time.
I keep noticing more and more how many people don't seem to realise how precious and important it is.
I haven't been very active in communities where i intended to be, since I didn't really have the time to do so
Nevertheless, this helped me understand which ones weren't "for me" and how much time I want to invest on them.
So, I decided I don't have time to invest on Inkbunny anymore.
The site is quite empty and I don't agree with their policies... I wasn't allowed to share some of my drawings over there and this (unsurprisingly) annoys me a lot.
For these reasons, I won't be using it anymore. I have emptied my gallery there. FyreDraygg and I really hope you spent some quality time with your parents, friends, mate, whoever you spent these days with. Or you just took two pleasant days of relax or break from your stuff.
Christmas is still a day of vacation, right? :D
We celebrated our vacation watching Anime and we’re going to meet tomorrow for a little time before starting studies and exams.

Posted 5 years agoOk guys, first of all I'd like to thank everyone who joined my poll on my Telegram Channel and gave me all the information I needed, which I've been trying to gather for a long time.
Why am I posting this journal?
I have been on Aryion/Eka's Portal for more than a year; I haven't been the most active person (I'm quite reserved).
Despite personal problems FyreDraygg (mostly) and I had with the owner and other users, I have been thinking to close my account for a long time.
Why?
Well, this will take a while to explain.
I am slowly realizing what I really wanna draw, what I want my specialty to be.
I've never liked vore (in the strict meaning of the term), I just hang around possibly non-cringy communities when I can because I like the "eating people" narrative trope.
I like telling something with my illustrations; it might be a story, a relationship between two characters or how they interact.
As you might have noticed, I'd much rather draw mawshots and other oral fixation material than ingestion and inside views (despite the contents of my gallery suggesting otherwise: it's actually because of requests and commissions which were mostly about ingestion and internals).
Most of what I like to draw are positive interactions with themes like cuddles, love and protection.
I don't like drawing "vore" for "vore"'s sake.
I'm not into the fetish side of it (again, the proper meaning of the "vore" term) and as such I don't enjoy its sexual connotation. Since it is, however, a simple narrative trope at its core, I still like to play with some very similar and related concepts which, sadly, lack a proper term describing them and this is where much of the confusion arises.
It's also very hard to explain this matter in a serious discussion because you always run the risk of getting caught in the crossfire between the cringy bigots who paint vore as a satanic sin and the vore fanatics who try to force you to admit that you like it sexually just like them, but are too shy to admit it.

What I truly enjoy drawing are cute characters being in each other's mouth for positive purposes.
What I still like to draw are characters eating each other as protection, as a play on words or part of a story.
Characters eating each other just for the sake of it, without any reason, any plot significance, any true purpose or plausibility, just to enact and embody someone's sexual fantasies is not what I want to do.
I'm not against any possible form of enjoyment of my art. If someone wishes to enjoy it as fuel for their fetishes, they are welcome to do so. What I'm saying is that my artwork is never born with that specific purpose: it always has other primary functions and purposes and whether or not it is enjoyable from a "vore perspective" is an entirely collateral attribute.
That being said, Aryion/Eka's Portal isn't a place where I am comfortable sharing my artworks anymore.
I waited for such a long time because I thought more people were using Aryion/Eka's Portal as their only gallery, but well... I realized the site is actually dying and hosts only a minimal fraction of people. Plus, as far as I know, the bulk of the communities are now on FurAffinity and DeviantArt.
So, that's all! I am going to leave the page to keep the nickname, but it won't be active anymore.

Posted 6 years agoI've spent some time with FyreDraygg this weekend and he diagnosed the issues with my tablet. He found out, hold and behold...
The power adapter makes my drawing tablet malfunction!
FyreDraygg's diagnosis:
« When the power supply is connected and the users' body is in contact with the electric field of the touch screen (eg. by resting the wrist on the screen while drawing) the pen digitizer's EMR scan becomes jittery, unreliable and laggy. This is undoubtedly caused by the power supply itself, either because it puts out an overcurrent or because its output isn't adequate in the frequency domain. Both of these inaccuracies could lead to undefined behaviour in the device »
In short, this means it interferes with my drawing pen, causing jittery or interrupted lines and major input glitches.
I can technically work around the problem by using the tablet while it isn't attached to the charging cable, you'll say...
Yes, but actually no, because the drawing tablet has a battery life of around 2 hours and a half.
This is quite annoying because I can draw for only a small window of time before I have to stop, connect it to the power supply and wait until it's charged again (I usually work for 4-6 hours in a time) and I can't use the machine at all while recharging because the input glitches open and close other programs and I've often lost progress and files because that.
The machine is still on warranty, but considering this is a... peculiar model now out of production I sincerely doubt the service center will be able to repair it or even find spare parts.
I will probably wait a little more until I have enough funds to buy a Surface Pro 6.
I also have some major commissions I am working on right now and sending in the machine for repairs would require around 1 to 2 months; if they can fix it (doubt it) I will have it back, but if they can't I'm not sure I will have it back with the refund.
For this reason I will continue using this device as long as I can and then buy a Surface and send this one in, so I won't have any delay on my works.
(The Wacom Studio Pro tablets we were trying to buy are too expensive for us right now and appear to be going out of production...)
For now, digital commissions are closed: I have received two large orders which are taking a lot of time.

- My new digital pen needs drivers. I tried to install them, but they aren't compatible with my pen display.
The pen generates some annoying false inputs, but by changing a couple of settings it's usable.
I'm still thinking of returning, but I want to wait to see if it's a general issue coming from the absence of drivers or just my "old" machine. In order to perform this test I have to try it on another tablet.

Hi guys!
Some updates are needed.Hot. It's really hot in here. 38°C during the day.
There isn't any air-conditioner where I live, just a couple of fans for 4 people.
Needless to say, it's really hard to work digitally; my hand sweats on the glove and my skin sticks to the surface of the tablet, it handles input wrongly, the program lags a lot and, last but not least, the machine gets really hot and this can potentially damage its GPU (this means it would become unusable).
Plus, my health. Yeah, it sucks as always, but now is getting worse because of the weather (it will pass, don't worry).
Fyre is still surrounded by exams.
It's really hard for us, between our duties and intolerable heat, to work considering we can draw only during the night (from 9:00 pm to 6:00 am and of course we can't work until the morning everyday, sometimes it happens).
I'll try to keep you update on what I'm working on as often as I can!
I apologize to my Patreon supporters for my long silence...
I won't be often online from 19 to 29 July and during the middle of August. Vacations :D
Aaaand, while I was writing this update, the charging cable of my tablet died. Yes. AGAIN.
I just ordered a new one, hoping this time it'll work more than 6 months and won't destroy my entire machine again.
It will take probably 2 weeks to arrive.
My digital commission & works will be stopped until the new charging cable will arrive.
I also ordered a bunch of new stuff, like a new digital pen (Wacom, 4096 levels, really good. The other one was giving problems) and a new lycra glove, hoping these will improve and make thing easier for me.

1. Summer and exams
Yeah, June and July are exam months. Considering I left my comic school, I won't have any exam this year and I will use the time I have to prepare for my next University year and spending some time at the seaside, hoping it will help my skin condition.

Posted 6 years agoI have many things to say now and I don't wanna bother you with too many journals, so I'll group everything in this one.
1. Never say goodbye.
Remember when I said I woulnd't post on Tumblr anymore?
I thought a lot about that after I had cooled down; I can't say I approve what they did and their new policy, but then I thought about what I do and the small community I've created there and I decided they shouldn't be the ones to carry the burden for the site's decision.
So, I decided to use my profile again as SFW and non-vore gallery only.
2. Easter Commissions!
Yeah, you read it. I'll open my commissions again on April 21st. And since it will be Easter, why not having a Mysterious Egg to celebrate? ^.^

I won't be able to stream this week (I'll be at Romics~), but I'm planning to have one the week after, around 12-13-14th April.
4. Some personal info.
Yeah, exams went by. I didn't perform properly on them, It's been a period of depression for me and I coudln't find the will to work.
Shame on me for that...
Now it's getting better, I am changing some meds and undergoing more medical exams with good results.I have new found will to work and complete my art pieces and projects. Maybe it's just Springtime and sun exposure (meteoropathy is always with me), but really... It's getting better.
I must thank all the people who helped and supported me. I really appreciated what you have done for me and I hope I'll be able to do the same for you ❤️

Tomorrow, at 9:00pm (UTC +1) I will test if my connection can tolerate a full streaming for about 1/2 hours. I will draw some commission pieces I have on list (not accepting commissions). I'd love to see you there to help, tell me how the quality is and any other kind of suggestion! And, of course, to enjoy some time together ^.^
The streaming will be half-italian and half-english (english isn't my first language and I'm not a very good speaker), just tell me which language you speak during the live!

Things are getting better, but exams are getting closer. Nothing too hard, I just have to put in the work to finish inking some illustrations. I was planning to upload a speed drawing on Youtube, but the editing is taking more time than I originally expected.
It will be online soon ^.^ I'll also talk about which materials I used and why I'm using them (with my absolutely perfect English accent, of course 👌🏻[FyreDraygg: yeah right 😒])
I wanted to let you know I'll be attending Romicsthis year with FyreDraygg on April 6th ^.^
We will be visitors and, as founder and co-founder of HyperuraniumNetwork, we will also have a meeting for our Hyperuranium Friends!
I thought about opening a special format of traditional badges because, if you will attend the fair with us, I'll be able to give them to you personally. I usually don't send my traditional pieces because I don't feel I can trust the mailing services to deliver the products without damages or losses.
Half-body badge will be 20€.
Fullbody badge will be 30€.
(Both feral & anthro. Any species is ok, but dragons are preferred.)
They will be coloured with bright coloured pencils and for a +5€ you can have an additional coloured glitter layer on it!
The badge will come in paper, but for +5€ I'll coat it in plastic for you + a coloured lace of your choice (monochrome).

Things have happened and I don't want to discuss them. Some users from Eka's Portal/Aryion disappointed me a lot and bring away my will to share there all my art.
Eka's is a gallery. Of course it's about vore, but I don't think it should be the only one thing allowed to post. Like FurAffinity doesn't have just furry art.
But I had enough. Let's avoid this "misunderstanding".
From now, I'll post on Eka's Portal only vore-related art and advertisemens.
Raffles, commissions and other kind of drawings will be posted on other galleries (and not there anymore).

Posted 6 years agoHi guys! I have finally something to tell you!
First of all I've completed my exams, but I still don't know how they're gone.
And finally anxiety has gone as well. I've forgotten how good it feels without that damn continuous feeling.
In the meanwhile I received my blood analysis results and I probably found the cause of my nausea and tiredness: I may have thyroid hormone deficit. I'll do more analysis soon. It's nothing serious, don't worry 😂
Finding out the cause made me wanna do stuff! I have more will to continue my commissions and I recovered my good mood, that's great.
And last but not least, I STARTED PLAYING SKYRIM!
I waited soooooo long to play that game!
My Lenovo wasn't powerful powerful, but with the secondary pc Fyre gave me now the gameplay is fantastic (apart from the lag when using spells, but I'm trying to solve it)
That's really good because I can pour out all my stress and turn off my brain
I also have more will to continue my roleplays and that's great as well. They work just like games for me, having a really important influence on my general mood.
Soooo, yeah I'm fine! I hope you're feeling the same ^.^

A lot of time passed from the last personal update and now I think it's time to do another one ^.^'
These days have been really hard for us: Fyre took another exam (and we're waiting for the result) and I'm stuck with my comic homeworks. And... Yeah, with health diseases
I was doing some specific thermal baths to help my skin against dermatitis and I felt really bad due to a high concentration of hydrogen sulphide. I had many breathing problems and climbing a ladder or just walking on the street was hard for me (and I didn't mention the strong headaches, cold and chills)
So yeah, I'm sorry if I disappeared 😥
I'll try to continue our commissions as soon as I can.
But we also have a good news as well!

Posted 7 years agoSince more people than before are now drawing my characters, and I'm really appreciating it ❤️, I would like to lay down some basic rules to do that:
1. Please always remember to credit the character by linking to any of my social accounts; it's not because I'm strict, but because it's important to credit characters to their creator
2. Please always ask before drawing any of my characters in a NSFW scene (please note that my main character Alita - and any of her multiple versions - are NOT allowed in NSFW scenes)
3. Please avoid drawing my characters in a picture with strong fetishes without receiving my permission; otherwise I could have to ask you to remove the picture
4. Please avoid depicting my characters in a romantic contest with any other characters without my permission or without any knowledge of an existing ship
