Posted 10 years agoHello to whoever still watches my FA. I don't really update this as much as I used to.
Totally didn't even make a Rainfurrest journal, but it was really awesome. I didn't take a lot of photos there because I was too busy partying with friends. It was one of the better RFs despite all the bad stuff people said they experienced. Nothing annoying happened to me at all, other than being dumb and losing my wallet Friday night. Luckily I found it the morning after haha. What an awesome weekend rooming with
marfles, Azlan (@AzlanFensulfur), Sniffum (@sniffum) and Rufus (@BlueKabu). ...No one really uses FA. But I got to hang out with lots of amazing people making it one of the most fun times in the US. Really hope to go down soon and see everyone again.
Other than RF, I've been studying Computer Science at SFU and that's been super rad. I absolutely love university. It can't feel better being out of the disgusting thing called high school. Going to school for what you love without cliques and other BS feels great. Classes go by quickly and assignments are easy.
Before starting post-secondary, I went to Silicon Valley over the summer to visit a bunch of companies. Instead of going to grad and blowing $430 on dinner, I decided to see Google, Apple, Dropbox, Twitter, Facebook, Zynga, Adobe, EA Games, PayPal, Ebay, Xilinex, Dolby, Advent, Tesla, Acer and one of NASA's offices. The whole concept of "prom", "grad", "homecoming" or whatever you want to call it is the stupidest thing I've ever heard. It's just to see who can rent the most expensive car for one night and hook up with the hottest girl or whatever. I rented a car myself that day, but drove to San Mateo instead of downtown Vancouver where grad was. I was in Silicon Valley for about 10 days to take some time away from furries. It was one of the most meaningful trips I've made considering the amount of contacts I've made and the priceless experiences.
That's pretty much it I guess haha. Last con for the year Howloween next month. Hope to see a lot of people there!

Had a chance to meet so many more amazing people from all over the continent and goof around with friends. Usually I'm one to make really detailed journals but can't really remember that much. ;-; I guess that means it was a fun time. There should be a ton of videos coming soon on YouTube.

Driving to Penticton in 4.5 Minutes
Posted 11 years agoHad a nice drive from Vancouver to Penticton a week ago. Decided to mount my GoPro to my car's dashboard and record the trip. It's not the entire thing, because its battery died in Princeton. Close enough! :P

I don't really post here a lot anymore, lol. Also broke 4000 page views. Cool? xD There's nothing that interesting on it, though.
Currently on a break halfway through final exams, is why I'm quiet. My school decided to give us 5 instead of 1 like the rest of BC gets.
Speaking of which, I'm going to be working full-time most of the summer now that school is over. Recently got my first car, so I'm now a Civic owner. I need to pay for my fortune's worth of car insurance.
The school year was great, though. I finished AP Computer Science last month, so by the time graduation actually comes I'll be 2 years ahead in university. Should probably find things to do in all my high school spare blocks, because I'm getting even more of them next year.
This summer I'll try to be free on the weekends to actually do things. Looking forward to parties and whatever is ahead. All you guys are totally awesome and honestly under-thanked for all the experience I've been through. Life wouldn't be as amazing without this stupid fandom. xD
When school starts up again I'll be at Rainfurrest again in September. Can't wait to see everyone again! :D

VancouFur Review
What even. Lmao I just can't. VF was so insane I can't even use the right words. Honestly I don't remember a lot of it because of caffeine and sugar. THANKS FOR RUINING MY FACE. If it wasn't for Twitter I probably would have forgotten a good chunk of the weekend. On Wednesday night I was going hardcore getting work done, and wrote tests on Thursday that were supposed to be on Friday. This is how you plan for cons. \o/
Thursday was kind of slow, but such a nice first day. Drove to the con after school and literally couldn't get passed the damn piano in the lobby because like 12 people were hugging me at different times. This is what I love about this fandom. You can't even get to the end of the lobby, let alone registration, without friends welcoming you. We basically just took selfies and stuff that day and ate food. Picked up an amazing badge from

Friday was just amazing. Woke up pretty early, and bought a bunch of things from the Dealer's Den, including a fox butt button for. Hit up 
and Drekian's TF panel then watched 
kill himself on stilts. xD Actually he was quite good on them. For some of that day we were chilling in Kato's room. Things happened... xD We accidentally broke stuff, then fixed it, broke it again, and fixed it once more. On a side note, I can't believe is how young everyone in our room was. Just a fun fact. #teenagefurrycrew We were laughing uncontrollably about things that really don't make sense. King, 
FissileDragon and I went across to the next skytrain station to pick up free coffee at Brentwood mall. Anything is free, so why not have 4 of them? We walked back to the con and downed 8 cups of coffee. If this day wasn't already awesome enough, then the opening ceremonies would make it. I did a promotional video for VancouFur here and won $200 for it:
It was shown during the opening ceremonies. :D We all went for dinner at Boston Pizza as a giant mob. King's sister showed up at the restaurant somehow lol. Got to talk with
lace on Friday about a movie he's acting in. We ended the night off with some dancing into the next day before attempting to sleep.
On Saturday we all had tea in the lobby like classy people. The fursuit parade happened 20 minutes after it should have, but it was bigger and better than last year. Sorry for using your entire SD card to take pictures lol. There was someone from the Vancouver Sun (I think) taking pictures of fursuiters and I didn't realize until I saw one of his photos on Twitter. HE WAS STANDING RIGHT BESIDE ME. After the parade we chilled Kato off in the headless lounge, then went to Tim Horton's in fursuit: https://pbs.twimg.com/media/BhrIv_f.....QK3L.jpg:large There was this little girl who lost her mind over the fursuiters. She thought they were the best things ever and hugged everyone. After that I went to the Dealer's Den and chatted with 
. Picked up some glowing collars and stuff. A little while later, the dance comp happened. THE DANCE COMP. Nothing less. It was way better than last year, plus being nominated as a judge randomly literally made me cry it was so funny. He started talking in Russian and people were cheering. xD The dance comp can be summed up by: Russian jokes, dolphin noises, train whistles, twerking and Peche dollars. Post-dancing, Church's Chicken got invaded: pic.twitter.com/SlsmecwNtt Somehow after being sick for a week, Essh still managed to be AMAZING at the Variety Show:
foxamoore and Lace were super funny, and so talented they could have professional concerts together. Trolling 
was brilliant. xD Not sure which day it was but bidding on fursuiters for a charity auction was a highlight. SIXTEEN. At some point that day I also bumped into 
mr-brightside. Ended the Saturday with some fun dancing and denying offered drinks. x.x Apparently 
Ryluen drinks out of cucumbers at dances and 
Koda_Falken drinks straight from fursuit. I remember there being a lot more that day but sort of forgot it all. xD Just left with the feels.
Sunday was slow. People were getting ready to pack up and leave. It was basically a day to get ready for my Dead Dog set. Watched the fursuit games, another violent game of musical chairs, and THE CLOSING CEREMONIES (with
kai). 
akonite took off his shirt for a charity auction in order to sell 3 giant Styrofoam rocks. He was auctioning off a DJ set and 
was like "CAN YOU PUT THE SPICE GIRLS IN IT?!" Funniest thing ever. What ended up happening is Sunday morning I felt kind of sick, and it carried on until around noon. I ended up having to bail on my VF set from being way too dizzy to focus. It really sucks because I would have loved to throw down a bunch of new tracks. Helped move a table with 
then booked it home. I had to take 3 days off school from being so crappy. So many people got sick and/or couldn't make it that the sets had to be stretched to 1 hour from 45 minutes.
Overall VF came super close to Rainfurrest. It was such an amazing con, just had to end badly. All you guys are the best things that happened. Without this fandom I don't know where I'd be right now. ...PROBABLY AT SCHOOL NOT BEING SICK. Lol but seriously, I love all you guys. It was a super fun weekend and it couldn't have been better.

Doggie Surgery
So my dog is having a surgery at the moment. She broke her back leg's bone and had to be driven to the emergency. Luckily she won't die, even thought I was 90% sure that would happen. It might be amputated... I don't know. Just waiting for her to come home. Don't want to loose her because she's such a nice dog.

So my dog is having a surgery at the moment. She broke her back leg's bone and had to be driven to the emergency. Luckily she won't die, even thought I was 90% sure that would happen. It might be amputated... I don't know. Just waiting for her to come home. Don't want to loose her because she's such a nice dog.
That's basically it. WHAT A MOUTHFUL.

Posted 12 years agoHad a very enjoyable weekend in Seattle with all the super nice furries hosting me and such.
I took about 300 pictures from the fursuit outing on Saturday so I'm working on getting some of those uploaded. That was an amazing day! -- BUT COLD AS HELL.

•Fursuiting
•Bad restaurant service
•Way too loud music
•Way... too... loud... xD
It was fun to get to see everyone again. The Vancouver furries are a fantastic group of people. It was a very enjoyable time. Love the hotel, love the people, love furries.
Next up is VancouFur '14 which will be even more awesome. :D
