Hi hi! Just a quick thing here- first and foremost, Happy New Years!

2023 was a year that was full of learning for me; mostly in relation to blender, renders, and 3D art in general. There wasn't too much Helixftr being done past Yesenia's release- I've been kind of out of interesting ideas on that end and trying to push the 2D medium wasn't working, especially when I was having such a good time with 3D.

But, I'm slowly working myself back into the mojo. I've got some smaller planned ideas going on, and I've been getting better with my audio work.
I can't make any specific plans or reveal anything just yet, not while my motivation to work on Flash/2D animation is kind of still waning.

But, thank you all for the support you've shown me, thank you all for your patience.
I'm not dead yet!
And I'm hoping for a much more active 2024.

Hey y'all!
I know that animating has been my schtick for the past decade or so, and I don't plan to stop; but I have been enjoying taking a bit of a creative break from animating and testing my brain on a new skill. I plan to probably keep this up until the end of the month or so- at which point I'll hopefully gotten my animating mojo back.

I hope y'all have been enjoying the renders! I want to get to 3D animation at some point as well, but that's still a ways off for me, I think.

No character update out just yet, but if you've been wondering what I've been up to you can check out this post over on Patreon! It's kind of a general "where are things at" sort of update, going over what I'm working on, where I'm going, what the aim currently is, etc.

There is a user that has been spamming me and several of my close friends' comments sections, shouts, and notes with the same message for several weeks now. They're mentally ill, persistent, obsessive, making threats on life (both theirs and others), and evading suspensions and bans because this site has no way to stop someone from simply making alternate accounts.

Out of spite, I have disabled the comments on basically all of my submissions.

Which I realize, now, could probably go for a lot of my *really* old stuff back from before helixftr, but maybe I'll move all of that to a folder all of its own sometime.

Folks have mentioned wanting a proper gallery, so this little bit of organizing should hopefully make finding and looking at them a little easier?

Since Flash was discontinued I cannot upload new flash files.
I have not been able to do this for like two years now or whatever.

Please stop asking for me to update the online player, I literally cannot.

The primary focus has been further improvements to Chonk and Juniper.

In Juniper's case, she can now lay down from the sitting position if you stand far enough away from her- she has two gulps from this point, but as of yet nothing leads from there.

A lot of the work on Chonk has gone towards his standing up animations- just give him a whack instead of interacting nicely with him, and he'll go into combat mode. Still needs work, and he can't swallow Helix from this point yet.
