If you're unfamiliar with Itaku, it's a gallery site that:
- has a built-in retweet/reblog function (so you can reshare other users' posts on your own page)
- allows you to upload art in batches
- supports video uploads (for animations etc)

So it's basically like an art site that aims to combine the best features of gallery sites and social media platforms.

A lot of great artists are there already, so I recommend checking it out even if you don't plan to make an account.

I've been playing lots of furry VNs lately, and I'm just really curious about what everyone thinks of the furry VN medium as a whole.

I'm running some polls on Twitter to get feedback on my art, specifically about the types of characters that I'm drawing. Votes are anonymous, so you can give an honest answer without worrying about it being too personal. The questions might seem blunt, but it's necessary to fix the problem that I'm having.

For a long time, I've always written "I want to make a comic with this character someday!!!", but now I want to get serious about it. My only problem is that it's hard for me to decide which kind of comic to make, which genre, which character type, which contents and situation, etc. So I think it might help me to talk with everyone about furry comics in general, since I've never really taken the time to. I think it should be easier to figure out where to focus if I actually discuss this instead of keeping all my thoughts to myself.
Of course, this is also kind of an excuse to geek out about our favorites, so don't hesitate to join in just for fun.

So far, my goal is a gay erotic comic with original characters (and enough length to be printed as a standalone issue at least). Since I don't have any genre/tone/content preference (because I have favorites in all of them), what I'm thinking about now is "what does everyone want to see right now?", taking into account that the great furry comics past and present have covered a lot of ground already.
Softcore? Hardcore?
Vanilla? Kinky?
Slice-of-life? Romance? Adventure?
Realistic? Sci-Fi/Fantasy?
Comedic? Dramatic?
Etc.

Also on my mind is "what kind of guys should I feature?", which is an even harder question for me since my tastes in furry guys cover an inconveniently wide range (including but NOT limited to: young men to grandpas, tiny to huge, macho hunks and femboys, handsome gentlemen and grungy sleazeballs, jocks and nerds, humanoid and monstrous, scrawny, skinnyfat, slim, fit, chubby, thick, beefy, etc - I'm naming popular archetypes for convenience here, but I really like all kinds of dudes, even those that don't have their own archetype). Again, I'm hoping that I'll be able to better understand where to focus by talking about it all.

Again though, feel free to think of this as "let's talk about furry comics!". Even if this doesn't result in whatever breakthrough I'm looking for, hopefully it can be fun at least.

It's been a long time and things have been incredibly hard everywhere, so I hope everyone's as well as possible.
I'll try to make a proper update journal later, but for now I wanted to give a notice that I'll be reuploading the old submissions that I deleted, just so there's no confusion (like "didn't I see this before?").

I'm specifically looking for communities focused on art technique development and original personal art, collaboration, experimentation etc, but any recommendations would be appreciated (and Discord/Telegram groups are fine).

Hey everyone,
Before anything, I want to apologize for being unresponsive and inactive for so long; making art and doing furry stuff in general hasn't been going too well for me.
I'm trying to slowly get back into it, but I'm going to be stripping down my watch list first thing, because my inbox updates way faster than I can actually keep up with (I had over 38 thousand un-viewed submissions piled up at last count).
I've archived my old watch list and I want to build it back up over time, but ONLY if I learn how to actually keep up with everything. Until then, I just need as few notifications coming in as possible.
I just wanted to let everyone know what's going on, because sometimes it feels bad to get unwatched out of nowhere with no explanation; I want to be clear that I'm not trying to single anyone out or otherwise make things personal. (But if this ends up having that effect anyway, please don't hesitate to note me about it - I'd rather know than not.)
