So, following some crazy stuff going on in my life, I've decided to retire the name "Amina" and all of that poor, crazy kitten's appendages, both physical and intellectual. ;c So sad for you, my many faithful watchers. I've decided (largely because of the result frustration and lack of success) not to take money for art anymore. o.o; I know, you're all so disappointed.

Worrying about not getting commissions and how to get commissions and then actually drawing for the commissions I WOULD get was taking all the fun out of art and putting a biiiig block on me. SO. I do, but I'm still discovering them. They went dormant when I forsook my god, but I'm starting to regain them again.

Oh, I certainly have. I worked with my husband for several years as a mercenary--I've killed plenty of people and not looked back. But I only did it to support my family, and later to protect my children. I would not kill if it were not necessary.

See above. Regrettable, I suppose.

14.)What kind of animal are you?

That's..... a difficult question to answer. The best way to describe it is to call me a catrouse. My mother was half-tabby cat and half-Cairn terrier, my father was a long-eared Jerboa. So I am a cat-terrier-mouse, or catrouse.

15.)Name your worst habits.

I am often naive and emotional, which puts me at a disadvantage in a lot of more compromising situations. I also tend to be a perfectionist and this leads to a lot of unrealistic expectations being placed on people, and especially my children.

16.)Do you look up to anyone at all?

I don't really know who I could look up to. I've never had any particularly high-standing figures in my life that I wasn't intended to kill.

17.)Gay, straight, or bi?

......You know, I don't know.

No. I don't have much of a fondness for institutions of any sort, other than financial.

Now. My laptop charger has been getting kind of ghetto for the past while, and today it finally up and quit on me. My laptop is now a very, very, very expensive (and frustrating) paperweight, until I can afford to buy a new cord, because some people think it's funny that this has happened and are incredibly insensitive to how I operate (*ahem* I fucking hate my mother--that is possibly the only time you'll ever hear me say that~). What does this mean? :o This means that I'll be on FA when I can be, but for the most part..... I'm fucked. D: But I'll be able to check at least once a day and I do still have access to a scanner. Upsides ftw!

What to confess? I guess it's this: I have no idea what I'm going to do with my life, and at this point I've taken a really unhealthy mindset of wanting to just find a nice man who is responsible and that can provide for me and just be his wife and little else. As far as I'm concerned, as long as I have a piano and a home I don't really mind being treated like a dog, expected to do nothing but care for the home, make food, etc.

Now, I know how horribly unhealthy a mindset this is for someone in my situation. I get it; I do. I'm working on getting out of it and getting into a good place. But for right now, I can't really help waking up some mornings and feeling like there's nothing else I'm good for.

3. Touch
Sly hands and a gentle touch will always, no matter who you are, turn me to putty-cat in your hands. I don't think this one requires much explanation.

2. Extreme Emotion
More situational and psychological in nature than it sounds. When I say "emotion," I don't really mean passion. While a lively, "Oh, Mina, I love you so much *unf*" can really get me from time to time, I tend to look for something more. Deep emotion, raw; things you don't understand about yourself until you spend time looking at how you think with a magnifying glass. It's really the metacognition that gets me, the thinking about how they are thinking and feeling and the processes it takes to get to the emotions they feel. This is usually a very nonsexual thing, but for me, I really do derive a lot of sexual pleasure from it. Theology and philosophy are private study only for this kittah. ^^;**

3. Voice
Some people just know how to talk to me. Some people just have a natural tone to their voice that gets me. No matter what, being silent definitely gets you nowhere. So let me hear you. ;3

Five people that mean a lot to me (in no particular order):

1.  Argon
This guy is fantastic. He's funny, he's smart, he's easy to talk to, and he SINGS all the time! He can be goofy and lets me do the same, being very open and understanding and hardly ever (I don't like to use absolutes) judges me if I say something weird. He lets me rant to him about something that's bothering me and offers good advice, and in the very next instant introduces me to something new (that I invariably love) just to get my mind off it. Argon doesn't seem to care much for what other people think of him, and his honesty and self-confidence (or is it deprication?) are wonderfully refreshing. Argon the Knight, thanks for being such a good friend to me. <3z

2.  SabataMcCloud
My mate, my best friend, and my ultimate confidante. Sure, we get on each other's nerves sometimes. Sure, I can't ever take him to the store. But that doesn't diminish the fact that he means a lot to me. <3 He's had more of an impact on me than he probably will ever know. Enough said.

3. My mommy

THIS WOMAN IS A-FUCKING-MAZING. SHE GAVE BIRTH TO ME AT FIFTEEN MOTHERFUCKING YEARS OLD. I WAS A TENTH OF HER BODY WEIGHT--NO SHIT, BRO. SHE WORKED ALL ALONE FOR TEN GOD DAMN YEARS--THAT'S FUCKING RIGHT--TO SUPPORT ME. BITCH, PLEASE, YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW HOW FUCKING AWESOME MY MOM IS. GO GET YOUR OWN.

4. My best friend, Shannon

She's gotten me through the worst times of my life. She never judges me and she always has a good word to say. We've leaned on each other like sisters for the last five years and I'm hoping we never stop being friends. I love my Shannie. <3
