Terms Of Service
PAYMENT INFORMATION:
✦ All payments are in USD and will be made through Paypal invoice. I will invoice you.
✦ I require full payment once your sketch is approved. For commissions of $300usd or greater you have the option of a payment plan.
✦ No refund will be given unless I'm the one who cancelled the commission. You will be refunded for work not yet completed, (example: commission cancelled at 20% completion means you would be refunded 80% of the original price, and receive the artwork in its current state.
THE RIGHTS I RESERVE:
✦ I have full rights to decline or cancel a commission if I feel that I can’t do what you want or for some other reason.
✦ I reserve rights to use the non-commercial illustration as a portfolio or for self-promotion. The buyer still owns the copyright to the character. If the illustration is commercial I will ask permission for this, the buyer can refuse.
✦ I reserve the right to upload or stream the drawing process of the commissioned artwork at my galleries/social networks.
✦ I reserve the right to modify and resell any rejected sketches as "Your Character Here" at a later date.
✦ If you would like artwork kept private, not streamed or posted. A fee of 20% of the commission price will be added.
USAGE AND REPOSTING:
✦ These commissions are for personal use only!
✦ The artwork will be watermarked with my username or signature.
✦ You may not claim the artwork to be your own, use, edit, copy, trace or in any way deface my artwork.
✦ You may not use it for any external projects, commercial or non-commercial unless agreed upon.
✦ You may repost the commissioned piece giving credit to me as the artist.
✦ You may use or print the commissioned piece for any personal/non-commercial purposes (to decorate your room for example).
OTHER THINGS TO KEEP IN MIND:
✦Deadline: 1-4 weeks from payment date depending on the complexity of the work and your place in line.
✦I will complete rough pose sketches up to a maximum of three. I will then refine the chosen rough sketch. You can still ask for more changes at this refined sketch phase. Please have a good idea of what you want drawn and explain it well to avoid confusion and wasted time.
✦Once a refined sketch has been approved I ask for payment and move on to the linework/painting phase. Small changes or corrections can be made here, major changes will result in extra charges.
✦Simple Backgrounds (solid color/transparent/gradients/shapes/textures, simple ground or small object under character etc.) Are included in the base price.
✦Extra Detail (weapons, apparatus, small animals, etc.) (Or if the character itself is very detailed) may increase the price of the commission.
✦Instances where there is a significant size difference in characters, prices might be lowered for the smaller characters in a scene. Example: A large dragon paired with a small kobold size creature.
