Heya there. Just thought I would write this in providing some updates on some things, that have been going on.

I apologize for my inactivity with not being able to post my content on a somewhat regular basis...One of the reasons for this, is due to I have again a few responsibilities, that keep coming up...such as, tending to my family, assisting my husband with moving in his belongings into our studio, (that is still within my family's home, we are currently (mostly myself) thinking up a plan as to how we can find a place of our own which has to do with a fundraiser through my Kofi. I will be sure to provide the link to this later on), spending sometime with other familial relatives and friends, and amongst other irl related things; (the main one being still needing to find a stable job, in order to have a consistent income going in which I haven't been getting much fortune with this due to the crippling economy and job market just being below dirt...).

With this being said, I am currently working towards finishing up some other artwork that I would want to get done and owe some people, (in which I wouldn't want to feel guilty about this if I never get these tasks done). So, for the time being, my comms will be closed within a temporary timeframe but, that I plan on reopening soon enough, (just refer to the latest journal entry, that I post and you will know). However though, yes, to respond to any of your concerns/questions, I am making a comeback; somewhat gradually. It is just, I am attempting to find that work and life balance while also enjoying what I have a passion for which is drawing/making artwork.

I thank you all very much for being understanding and taking the time to read through this as it means well to me. Please do know, that I am attempting my best to get to almost everyone's comms and/or inquiries.

Thought I would write this entry to provide some exciting news, that has occurred within the year so far. As of July 19th, I have been engaged to my partner, (I had first proposed to him back in June). Also, as of July 30th, my partner and I have gotten married!! (Unfortunately, there was some "hiccup" in the processing of my partner and I's marriage certificate...So, it had to be reissued on August 2nd). This was all I had wanted to share with you. My husband and I are looking forward to the new chapter, that will unfold!

Just writing this to notify some changes, that will be made to most of my socials, along with my schedule; considering I have officially completed my college education this past May. Now, that I have completed my college, I can continue a more flexible schedule when it comes to working on comms, (for this, you can refer to the section where it says, Work Days. As far as with any updates, regarding the status of my queue, I only have a couple more comms and things to complete. Hey again. Am writing this entry to let all of you know, that today marks the last day of the college semester and I will be reopening comms again. Just note, that the status message I will be putting for comms will mention, Working on queue. This means, that I will be working on all existing comms on the queue to clear out and make more space for new ones; from here, I will not be accepting new ones until the queue, is cleared.

Hey there again. Just thought to write this to provide an update, that the college semester for me will be starting soon within 2 weeks. As I have mentioned in my previous entry, it will be going from August 28th to December 15th. Considering this will be my last semester, (I am hoping it is unless my academic advisor says otherwise) and that I will not be taking that many classes; I am going to see, that if I can take/work on as many commissions as I can, (I wouldn't know for sure as I would have to play by ear to see how things go).

In the event if things get a little hectic, (meaning if I happen to receive a somewhat hefty workload of schoolwork) I would have to pause comms temporarily. However, if things tend to go less stress inducing, then I can continue to have comms open. As of recent, (and I don't know why this is) but, I have been feeling this sense, that I get tired early in the day, like, more towards the evening. Although, I am attempting to overcome this little by little each day and I happen to be improving.

Moreover, I apologize if I am being slower than usual with needing to finish comms but, I am attempting to get better.

(Yes, I know I should have posted this from this past Tuesday but, I had gotten caught up in some personal things). Hey again everyone! Just thought I would write this short entry to let you all know, that I have now made an Itaku which I plan to use as a supposed alternative to Twitter in case if things go down the shitter...(Like, with Twitter having keep on changing their rules and things, according to their "agenda"). However, yeah, for those who have not followed me on there you should follow me!

That is basically what I had wanted to give an announcement on but, as of currently with my status for commissions they are still being paused for the time being until May 9th, (please refer to the entry titled, A Notice). Should any changes come about, I will be sure to let you all know.

Hi again everyone. I am writing this entry to let you all know about my situation, (this is nothing major but, I just thought to post this to let most of you know). So, as some of you may know, (those who follow me on Twitter and such) I am a college Senior and that means I am approaching my final year(s) of school; meaning the college semester, is right around the corner and might need to take a mini break. The reason I am making this decision to take a small break, is because considering these are one of my final year(s) in school I need to put the schoolwork as my priority.

Again, as much as I wouldn't want to stress this, literally the professors at my college assign me homework and the like almost EVERY week and it gets to the point, that it somewhat overwhelms me...So, for the time being up until the college semester has ended, (the semester will begin from January 18th to May 9th or, a little later) I will be putting a pause on commissions. However, I will attempt to see for when it reaches the spring recess, (being from March 18th to 26th) if I can reopen commissions again but, if not then you would know the reason. Although, to assure those who would be wanting to get a commission from me, by the time when the semester has fully ended, is when I can reopen them again.

Moreover, this was what I had wanted to update you all on regarding my current situation and for when I write next.

Hey there everyone! It is me, Amxranthine, (Amxie for short and/or can go by my other name, Sarah). Heh~ I know it has been a VERY long while, that I have not written a journal entry in like, ever, since I had first joined FurAffinity, (back in August 2021). However, I am taking the opportunity now to write this 1st journal.

As some of you have noticed for some time I have not been that active on this platform...however, I plan to change this habitual pattern, (depending if time allows) but, if I could explain some of the reasons why. This past year, (along with the year before) I have been undergoing a lot of burnout/stress...this is because I am approaching my final semester(s) of college, (yes, I am already a Senior) and that I need to be sure to keep my studies as a priority...or, else I will just end up in the dust, so to speak.

Literally the professors at my college assign work to me EVERY week and I barely get any time to myself to do other things, such as drawing and whichever stuff I would need to do for daily living, (not to exaggerate but, I do make sure to take care of myself). Although, before it wasn't just only with school but, also with work...(which thankfully now I have made the decision to quit it and have applied for Unemployment until I can find myself a job where I enjoy spending my time in. I would want to search for a position where you attend an art museum or, something to gain experience).

To keep a long story short, yeah, it has been tiresome for me these past 2 years, because of needing to take care of college stuff and putting up with a shitty retail job. Although, currently, I don't have to be concerned with needing to go to work and only would need to be concerned with the schooling, considering I have applied for Unemployment and can now concentrate on working on some commissions/drawings.

However, again, if I find myself not being as active on FurAffinity then that would mean, that I have selected the other following platforms, such as, Discord, Twitter, and Patreon being one of the preferences. I can attempt to be a little more active but, it all depends with how my scheduling goes. I will post another journal where I would be sharing my socials from these platforms.
