I hate the position I'm in.
I enjoy drawing general nsfw and vore. That's why I do it. I enjoy interacting with others who are into what I'm into. I enjoy the positive feedback I get when I upload something I put a lot of work into.
But I absolutely hate the way I'm treated by people outside of these spaces for what I do inside of them. I like being able to have friendships with people younger than me (in my age range, of course) without some dipshit thinking it's funny to show them the stuff I draw, or them going places they know they shouldn't go (I can't fault them that much, really- we've all been curious) and finding stuff I've kept specifically out of their reach for their own sake.
I'd understand if it was a situation where people found that I've posted something disturbing, or "problematic" for lack of a better term, and feeling a moral obligation to share it to warn others or whatever, but it's never that. It's always because it's a "funny" fetish, or just that it's funny I draw porn at all. I want to have sexual freedom while also having the ability to be separate from that stuff. Because I am primarily not a "porn artist" (not that there's anything wrong with being one, it seems like fun and makes money). I'm just a guy who likes to draw porn sometimes and likes getting validation from it. But people always find a way to fuck it up and think weird fetishes being "funny" cancels out the negative effects of exposing minors to it.
Keep kids out of adult spaces and all, but keep adult content away from where kids end up. Or something.

Honestly, I've been super irritable for the last few days over slightly related but much more serious stuff. I'm sorry if this journal feels upsetting, disjointed or confusing, or unnecessarily personal considering the setting, but I felt like I needed to get it off my chest regardless.

i plan on raising my prices for my rendered sketches to something more manageable. however i will probably take cheaper commissions for the style seen in my last post. i hope you understand

This is due to demand and personal stuff. Before I made this account I was struggling to get commissions consistently and so I considered them to just be an every now and then kind of thing, but now that more people are interested I do think I'll have to raise my prices. They are already on the lower end anyway, so I don't feel like I'm ripping anyone off, but I can imagine this will be disappointing for some, and for that I apologize.

This price change does not apply to people who have already received quotes or estimates that have been agreed upon. I would also like to apologize for how slow it's been for me to work on art in general. I don't really know if I have an excuse for that, but its a combination of having other art related commitments (I'm participating in some projects that require a lot more detailed artwork), school and general lack of motivation.
I hope you understand, and I want to emphasize that I am not a professional when it comes to managing these kinds of things. Art is something I do for fun, and while I am committed to finishing every commission I take on in a timely manner, things tend to get in the way of that. I'm only working on one commission at the moment in order to prevent others from waiting and expecting me to make substantial progress on several pieces.

So I sort of had commissions off on an unannounced hiatus, if you had inquired at all over the last 2 months you probably heard something similar. But now I'm eager to start working again, so if you were interested I will likely message you soon enough! Though I do prefer taking commissions on one at a time. I hope to make some kind of virtual queue that the public can see so there's more transparency with how long it takes me to get stuff done.
