So! Another fantastic con has come and gone.
Oddly enough, I didn't quite enjoy it as much as I did last year. I really dont know why. If anything, this con was set up to be WAY better. I think it was just me having way to high of expectations. Also, I kept seeing that pretty much everyone came with at least one of their friends. I went alone. However, I did meet  jku there, as well as his friend  wafflestheraccoon. That definitely made for a better con experience.

But my anxiety got in the way of me again. There we're several furs that I had wanted to say hi to (someone actually specifically told me I should say hi to them because I shied away last year as well).

So I'll have to try again next year.

After this years con, my intense need for my own fursuit has been rekindled. So, I have started my own fursuit fund. Only 40 bucks in right now, but you gotta start somewhere.

I also sort of kind of developed a crush on someone. But nevermind that. The Wednesday before the con I was at a concert (Kiss and Motley Crue for those who will inevitably ask) and I lost my voice due to excessive screaming and hollering. Hardly being able to talk is a bit of a confidence killer, so that was a bit of a negative to my con experience.


Some of the panels I went to were fantastic. I went to the Survival panel and high noon quickdraw, each hosted by  Nighteyes_5, and I went to the brony panel. Also went to the improv show (can't remember specific name right now). I actually got up and participated in "sound effects". I really enjoyed that.
There were plenty of others, but my memory is a little shoddy right now.

I didn't buy as much at the dealer's den this year. I bought a print and 4 blindbag ponies, as well as a fursuit bandana from Made Fur You. I don't know why, because I have no fursuit, no any need for a giant bandana.

That's about it really. At least, all I can think of as of right now. I snagged a video of the fursuit parade, so when I finally get around to editting that, I'll post the link here.

I said I would get my RMFC con report out way earlier, but I'm still catching up from being online for very little ammounts of time since Wednesday the 8th. I also had days worth of other new content on other websites, but I've just about caught up on all of them. I will get a journal up no later than this weekend though. Also need to get around to editting the fursuit parade video together.

Also wanted to work on some art tonight. But my tablet was having issues. It's fine now, but of course I have to sleep now, so it's too late to do anything.

So, I was finally going to get a game while the Steam sale was going on.

Skyrim was %50 off. $30 is still pricy, but my birthday is coming up, so why not, I thought.

I was actually really hyped up to get it, and right as I was going to the steam page to add it to my cart...

It's bad enough that I can't sleep, but all of the websites I keep up with have absolutely nothing new on them!

None-the-less, I have a pretty good day planned out. Going out for lunch and to the cinema with my family, getting a box fan for my window so my room doesn't get so uncomfortably hot like it usually does, get some chocolate milk (HELL YEAH). Seriously, it's sounds like it will be a fantastic day, I'll just be damn exhausted.

At least I got to watch the sun come up. That's always nice.

Isn't it always a little disheartening when you see someone whose fursona looks basically exactly like yours?

Almost makes you want to redesign them a little bit...

I have one week to go until schools out and I will have some free time! In the upcoming weeks I will be working on art that I owe people. I also am hoping to finish a personal project soon!

Also this week, I found out that I am going to be an uncle! Not much more info than that, but still really cool!

And I went through my journals, basically just clearing them out, and I realised how annoyingly titled they are. And I used to just spam you guys with them. Well, hopefully I can do better to not annoy you guys.

A little more really good news is I'm probably going to get a brand new keyboard sometime soon! I am really excited for that. It hoping to get something from Korg. If there are any musicians out there that know a thing or two about which keyboard brands are really the 'best', and which product from those brands are considered the 'best', please, let me know!

So, February 2 was my anniversary of being furry, and I can honestly say, you guys have made it awesome. Thank you, all of you.


Also,  fennicthefox's was the 6/7 of February. Go congratulate him!

Honestly can't say this has been my best year, but I'm still young, so there are more better ones to come. I think I'll start with this year. I never do New Years resolutions, but I'll make an exception. And I'll share with you guys, just so I don't pull back on my word. I'm counting on you guys to keep me in line!:
1. Stop being camera shy, and start that vlogging series I've been strongly wanting to do. I have the camera and the editting skill, and basic schooling in vlogging 101, so 2012 just seems like an opportune time.
2. Ponies. They've become a big part of my life, but I've been hiding it from my father. He is my closest family member, and I don't like that I should have to hide it. I've already changed my desktop wallpaper to pony, and I'm posting a picture a friend painted for me on the wall. I'll wait a couple days to see if he asks about it, but if a week goes by with no mention, I'll force myself.

I have a third one, but it's just the rubbish that everyone says.

Only going to touch up on the con a little bit as there are some other things I wish to talk about. So, Sunday at the con. I didn't really expect to go, but when the opportunity presented itself, I couldn't say no.
There were two main highlights of Sunday.
-The first was the extremely epic Nerf Shootout between  SteelJaw and  Veridian. I got the whole thing on video, and I have every intention of uploading once I get it editted. Or, IF I get it editted. The video appears to be clightly corrupted somehow. At random times when working with the video, it will completely shut down my computer. Yeah, not good. Still working on getting it to work though. Here's hoping.
-The second was VERY surprising. Buddy showed up! I don't think he was actually registered (because he didn't have a badge and he was only there for a short while). But still, it was awesome to see him! I got a short video too. So after I finish up with the other video, I'll get started on that, which shouldn't take nearly as long.

Another thing,
WOW. Ever since I went to the con and uploaded those pictures I took, my watch list increase GREATLY. From about 20 to 35 in a couple of days, I am speechless, and I want to thank each and every one of you.

One last thing before I wrap this up, ever since I've gotten my camera, I've been getting very much into photography. However, I'm trying to decide what the best thing to do concerning uploading the pictures is. I kind of wanted to keep this page mostly furry exclusive, so I don't want to clutter my gallery will the hundreds of pictures I take. I also could make a new FA page exclusively for photography, but I don't really know if that's the best way to put out my pictures. And like every other decision I'm too lazy to make on my own, I'll let you guys decide. Upload here? Make new FA? Or something entirely different?

Even though I was only at the con for one day and it's a little unfair, here's how it was!

-Lines for people picking up their badges were pretty long, and they had to delay the opening ceremony for a full hour just so more people could be there, but it still wasn't too bad.
-When it opened, I went to the dealer's den. All in all, I got a fox hat, RMFC 2011 t-shirt, and and a fox magnet. And despite my promise to myself to not get anything mlp, I also walked out with a collection of MLP stickers and a Rainbow Dash badge.
-I attended the 'First Time Con' event. It was very helpful, and worth going to. It pointed out even the smallest things you probably normally wouldn't be aware of.
-I also attended the "Furry Puppet Construction". Not so much as to learn how to make puppets, but to watch the little puppet show they were doing as they went along :3
-The Brony Meet n' Greet. OH. MY. GOD. The person who was running the event said he expected around 8 people MAYBE to show up. But, the room was FILLED. Though the room wasn't that big to begin with, all the seats were taken up, and there were also many people standing in the back. I felt a little more comfortable that many people in there were even older than I am. That event was by far the highlight of my con experience :3
-The last event I attended was the Fursuit Construction. I left about 10 minutes before it ended, but with what I learned, I already knew I'm not building my own suit anytime soon.
-Last but not least, the fursuiters! There were tons of them! Well, I can't really compare the amount to that of cons like AC and FC, but for someone like me who had never seen a fursuiter in person before was a real treat.

One more thing before I wrap this up; the pictures. I took very little compared to what I expected to. The ones I did take are very blurred. This is just due to my decision not to use the flash on my camera. Hopefully you can all enjoy them anyway! I also took some videos, however, there is very little footage, and even less worth uploading. I'll look through it some more and edit a little bit. But if their's really not much to show, i probably won't bother.
And there is also another picture I am a little on the border of whether I should upload it or not. It's a picture of TaoFox and I, but I don't know if I want to upload a pic of myself. So rather than just tossing it around my mind, I'll let you guys decide. Or should I just blur my face like the last time I uploaded a pic of me?

So I finally got myself a Furaffinity account. And I can't wait to start getting into the community.
