Yay! Back from camping. Ashe had tons of fun but I think I got enough of the woods for a bit. ;x; Spiders.... So many spiders...

Now I'm back with new ideas >w< *grabs tablet and wags tail* I need to start drawing now.

Going camping for 4 or 5 days. It's a camping site where people bring their dogs and there's a beach just for the dogs to roam free and play. My new puppy Ashe is coming and hopefully he won't pee in the tent or chew the air mattress. ^w^;;;

QoQ holly poop backgrounds are hard. I need to practice a lot. Skys are easy enough =w= or so I think. I'm at level 1/10 on backgrounds and I'm sure I'll be a lot more satisfied on a level 8 or something.

Yesterday I went and bought a puppy with my own money. I have Mocha (a papillon) but when I got her I had to leave for 3 years of college so she became my dad's dog. I also wanted a bigger dog that would be more of a companion than a little lap dog.

So now I have my own puppy, a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix. He takes after his father, a black and white Border Collie.

And I have to admit, even though I am happy to have him I still, for some reason, get a lot of anxiety from having such a big change in my life and a baby to take care of.

I think I'd feel anxiety with a baby of any species. ^_^;;;

I still need a name for him.

Oh No! I drew my Hushie and forgot the purple lines on his tail ;n; bad bad me. If I fix it and do the "change file submission" to upload the fixed version will I lose the views and favs?

I found this person on here called Thanshuhai. his skills are beyond anything i thought possible when it came to drawing furries. he can make them look so photo-realistic while still keeping that lovable cartoon style. when i saw his art i felt two things; i was motivated to try harder but i was also depressed to know that someone could improve so much in one single year when it takes me so long to improve a little over many years.

THEN i realized. i'm not at a higher level because I've always been afraid to try new things in art. I've stuck to simpler things for so long because i was afraid that if i went outside of my comfort zone that i would fail. but this is what learning is about so now i grab my tablet and i try to do something new. inspired by the art of Thanshuhai i will try to improve myself, play around with my art program, try new brushes.

So, i will take my icon and try to remake it into something better. And there is no "if" i succeed but "when" i succeed. this might sound all dramatic but man.. i have motivation!

i am thinking about little anthro Shark, Jelly-Fish, Axolotl and other fleshy aquatic creatures. And maybe red pandas cause those are super cute.
