It did make me feel a bit better that my personal art to NON-personal art (combined commissions/gifts/trades) ratio was pretty even though!

I also wondered if I should start posting WIP's somewhere? I draw all the time but I usually don't have time to do much more than sketches or inks since school started and I'm running in and out and to and from school runs all day during the week...

If so- should I post them here/in scraps? Do sketchdumps weekly or something?
Or should I make a tumblr specifically for my sketchbook updates?

I know my page is pretty dead lately but I do still art... Lol though I totally get it if no one is even interested in my art anymore. XD

SO I'll be able to do digital art again in a week or so.

Still gonna try to get that Graphire as a backup though :3

This isn't aimed at anyone in a mean way XD Just I've been asked several times about commissions in the past week or so only for things to go South cause I can no longer do digital at the moment. Which means that they must have missed the memo lol

My tablet is dead.

I MIGHT have a Graphire as a replacement in a week or so if I win this Ebay auction but not sure how good that one will be.

I'm currently working on getting a Bamboo Pen & Touch but that's £90 that I don't have right now. Hopefully this month but I don't know for sure...

And now the bad news:

I was urged to try the 100 Character Challenge ( http://nekokyuuketsuki.deviantart.c.....enge-114488623 ) by my friends to post on LJ/Tumblr

Soooo I sketched my first one and it was gonna be all fancy and colored in SAI but… I just spent the last hour trying (and failing) to get my tablet to connect… It kept saying it was malfunctioning and nothing I did (restarting, reinstalling drivers, switching USB ports) got it to recognize- or even make the light turn on :/ I just used it the other day for a quick redline too!

It looks like today marks the end of an era- my wonderful, faithful Graphire 2 that was given to me some 7ish odd years ago by my awesome friend, Ernest, has finally kicked the bucket… I am SO sad right now… I might try taking it apart to see if it’s just a loose connection and I KNOW the tablet is old and had a REALLY good run but… ;-;

Now I have to rely completely on traditional art until I can buy a new tablet… so I’m not sure if I have the time to start up the challenge and that kinda throws a wrench in my pony/bust/icon freebies list since I wanted to do those in SAI as well…

Might look into the Bamboo or something eventually… But damn… I didn’t realize how invested I was in that old guy… It’ll be sorely missed :/

I dunno I just really want an account. I LOVE how streamlined it is and I'd like to use it as a secondary to my FA. I'll draw you a puppy! :D

Commissions are going. I'm just finding it harder to find a way to work on traditional arts right now that doesn't put my colored pencils in the danger zone (aka any and everywhere when my son is awake lol). But hoping to do some more work tonight. I hope to make a good deal more progress and be finished with what I owe before this month is up.

After that I MAY consider trying the Iron Artist thing again- digital arts make me happy lately- as they're not as hard to keep safe from a rampaging almost-2-year-old.
