I've been kind of discouraged from updating because I don't want the Ai crap to take my stuff. But who am I to not show my art to the world? I feel like I don't exist if no one sees my artistic expression.

I'm just trying to get some art done whilst being an adult. I'm hoping I'll get some books published sometime soon.

It'll be interesting to think about how my future self will look back on all this and think... wow... I totally turned back on that promise!!

It's been that long eh? 8 months.
And it's been a roller coaster of issues...
The roommates moved out and I'm not looking. Kinda miss having that space... All the alone time helps me concentrate on drawing. I have a few things I should upload... just need to figure out what pictures I already uploaded.

I had my first surgery in February... like ever. I had appendicitis. One night I just couldn't sleep due to a painful bubble on my right side. It's happened before and I thought maybe it was just bad gas but apparently that night I went to the hospital and they confirmed infection. I was lucky it didn't burst. Recovery was crazy, first few nights were hell. I had to sleep in a chair because getting out of bed was painful and felt like my guts were going to fall out of my stitches. Once it was over, it's fine. My insurance covered it since it was an emergency so all is well.

It's been a while since I drew things and lately it's just been for Youtube or money. I'm thinking I should try to find passion back into it. Instead of waiting for a commission or doing it for money anymore. A friend and I are attempting at making a comic together, doing more Youtube intro drawings, finishing some commissions I started long ago, bunch of other art projects I should do... I'm also working on a fursuit... so far... still working on a mask... but should be finished by the end of this year if life gives me the time to work on it.

Been drawing traditional because I have a lot of paper, a lot of sketchbooks and just too many color medias.
In between all that, just been busy with life... Probably the only interesting things right now is the quirky personalities of my lizards. Also been keeping my gaming YouTube channel active.
Will be uploading those traditional art up soon so just stay tuned.

I want to do commissions for people but not sure if anyone is trying to reach me or I'm just invisible. So what's a good way to keep in contact? I'm leaning away from Facebook because the messenger isn't really reliable and I don't want toxic strangers knowing anymore of me than they need to know. I'll try some programs if they are reasonable... really it just takes becoming a habit.

I have a license and a car now. I'm super happy. Best Christmas ever.
I bought the car back in May for really cheap for a car. The guy simply wanted to give it to someone who needs a car as well as getting rid of it because he was moving back to his home country. Plus the cash I gave him is more than he needs in India. Lucky!!
SO from there I've been practicing with my sisnlaw and her car as well as driving mine around... not really in the streets, just using it to practice parking mostly. I can parallel park like a champion... maybe...

So with about 3 months or so of practice in a big van with many auto problems. My mom paid for driving school as a Christmas gift and at the end. I made it. It was the happiest day of my life. I hate the bus. I hate everything about it. I hate the driver (#not all bus drivers are bad), I hate the people riding (#not all riders are bad), I hate the occasional protest that no one rides a bus when I really needed to get to an appointment or an interview, and most of all, I hate waiting for 1-3 hours in the +100oF weather for the bus. Basically, I was ruled by the bus schedule all my life.

I got registration, insurance and some mechanic fixes soon as I got the time.

The New Year hits and my roommate and good friend, Tony got a job and I agreed to help him out since it was very far and he owed the household financial compensation. Well, another friend wanted me to drive him to work too. I was more willing to help them out because driving was a newly acquired skill and I just like helping my friends out. It started taking a toll on me and my car. I wasn't getting a healthy amount of sleep because both parties had two different hours throughout the day. I can't take naps and make up for the loss because my body just doesn't work that way, I tried. I either get full 7-8hours or it's waking up feeling malaise. It doesn't help that it takes 1-2 hours for me to drift off. So week after week I got roughly 2-4 hours of sleep a day and I couldn't do the things I wanted to do like drawing. My mind was set on sleep though I've been on adrenaline just to not conk on the road. Mondays are probably the best days because I spent the weekends mostly sleeping.
So about last weekend, I came to my senses and I started drawing again and realized I haven't done it for a while and I got two commissions long overdue. So much I want to do but as the weeks went by I was so tired. I needed a break from taking these people around.
It doesn't help that the schedules between the two people I drive around change February more drastically which if I kept going I might not be able to sleep at all AND commit to these people. So for now, I needed to drop the one who can easily take a bus or something. Tony, was the one who worked miles away. I kept him but he won't be needing me for very long. A few paychecks or so and he'll start driving too.
I planned on going on long trips in car. Something like going to UT to see my dad and probably tour the USA in my car. I've traveled once in Europe and it was an experience I'll never forget, and from then on, I wanted to travel around and experience a lot of different cultures and foods... and all that was going to start as soon as I got wheels and the license to drive.

So coming February, I'll start drawing again soon as I'm caught up on sleep.

Got a new pen display and it's slightly changed how I draw digitally so I've been considering about redoing mostly unfinished work. It's a Gaomon pen display... smaller than the predecessor but it's more portable, easy to setup and put away, and the drivers made it work right away.

Anyways, I still need to make Craft's Christmas picture.
And that long awaited ace attorney picture I've mentioned long ago... Unfortunately I have to remake that because there's a significant difference in drawing between what I did on the Huion and what I've done on the Gaomon and it'll look weird if I didn't have picture adapted to the new display.

Everything's been stable at this point in my life. Been trying to get some extra work for a little extra money because I'm saving up for costly surgery and I just don't make enough money to save up for it, just enough to pay the bills.

Anyways, lots of things I'm going to experiment on in drawing... Even going to cross the nsfw a few times. If you like the things I draw, I would love to hear your attention.

I do free art but I'm currently back ordered at the moment. I owe quite a few people free art for about a year now... So if you want any... don't hold your breath. If you pay, I tend to get it done sooner. Sorry but paying customers keep me fed.
My one client that paid the most (he was VIP to me) has parted too soon to cancer. This allows room for more free art to come out but at the same time I'm going to need some job hours to make up the loss so less overall time to draw.

My art streaming is on hold because my wifi card is outdated and my RAM needs to be replaced.

Sorry, was on hiatus what with all that's going on in my life. I'm moving around Jan-Feb (I think it's the 13th when we sign the lease).

So have been working on packing up, recycling things I don't need and throwing out what can't be fixed.

As for art work, my Huion pen busted so I spent a whole month looking for a replacement. Turns out, it's an old model of a pen display so I had to contact the company for one. It wasn't cheap and I was considering a full display replacement for a different company if things didn't turn out well. But they came through so... I'm back to drawing again. I even decided to try other software, mostly free... lol. But a few demo ones impressed me...

So my choice of software so far were Krita, Firealpaca and Leonardo. (Asides from what I already have.)

Leonardo wasn't a free software but... so worth the bucks if you aren't the sort to do backgrounds. It's only $40.

So I've been thinking about streaming some videos, probably drawing, probably gaming and grabbing a Patreon for everything I do. Getting myself all set up, grabbing hardware and software, cameras, lights, a fan... all that fun stuff. Hopefully it will all work out.

So far when I get it set up, it's going to be about once a week on a Friday afternoon. I'll put links up when it's ready.

My monitor has a new sheet so I can draw on it.
I occasionally have a job but when I have time, I'll do some drawings and commissions. A little bit of extra money pays for food, electricity and internet and I appreciate it.

Still figuring out a schedule for streaming. Just subscribe to it, it should give you notifications when I get on. Maybe I'll do a live on Facebook too. I don't know...

And I hate lemons or most sour things...

I expected a lot of things to happen by this year but it didn't happen so... And some problems I encountered, either I get it done eventually or I just put a pin on it. So many projects to finish and not enough time in the day to do them all.

PCC was a disaster this year, but I never paid for my participation. I just stayed at the Hyatt hotel the entire time. I hate that hotel for personal reasons... but my issues with them wasn't related to what I planned on doing there. Nothing bad, just streetpasses, drawing, and maybe some Monster Hunt with friends... I also got to have dinner with said friends at the Cooper Town. It's my favorite restaurant to go at con.

This summer, I got patchwork to do so it's higher priority above my other project because it's a large paying client and if you don't know my policy... the higher the pay and shorter the deadline is higher priority. I should have a policy on here...

Usually I'm just so busy, busy, busy...

I don't want to talk about extra roommates. I'll just say, the original I mentioned previously are not coming with us. We haven't moved yet because of circumstances outside of our control. There's one guy we want to nab for a roommate but he's making sure he's not sending his current roommate homeless because of leaving.
Anyways, I won't go into the part that irritates me... not him just my current situation of related subject.

I'll try to draw more often. But to be fair, my monitor is so badly scratched up... good thing that it's just the screen protector that's scratched. That's an arm and a leg thrown out the window if I didn't.

By the end of the year I'll be moving out with a few more roommates. It's mostly because our second floor apartment is breaking up underneath us. The cracks in the floor are growing, we even have a few indents and gaps forming. It's not too dangerous to live here yet but the increase in size means it's only going to get worse. Likely, we're moving into the same complex, different house possibly on the first floor. I also need to adjust the extra roommates as... we are adjust to just me and one other roommate.

So a lot of projects are going to be slowed if not on hold. I might occasionally live stream if there's time to draw.

I kept spreading word to some friends that I might have NSFW pictures on here only that some of them are disappointed and some of them aren't even in NSFW mode and don't care. Well that might happen very soon. I've been working on a project that's a bit more of a scientific fascination in addition to a bit sexual in nature. And I ask you of course, if you don't like it, please change to SFW, I believe there's a lot worse on NSFW FA than what I'm about to unleash.
