Anna's Annual Journal (IMPORTANT!)
Posted 10 months agoAlright! Welcome back to the, newly-renamed Anna's Annual Journal! Also known as the yapping session! I'm a woman! Women like to yap! Get used to it! X3
And besides, I skipped the July update because I was busy, and let's be honest, I only need to bother you only once a year. A small price to pay for all my work, least you could do is lend an ear in these trying times. ;w;
Anyways, let us see the topics that need to be addressed in this meeting...
Hell, I'm actually pre-writing this journal during my shift! Talk about meta! lol
It's not all sunshine and rainbows, though. Not all days are calm and boring, some tend to be very frantic and stressful. That does end up affecting my art career in one way or another. So if my art output is low, please be aware I don't have much time to draw as I did back when I first started. While my heart is in my drawings, my wallet is in my job, and in our world, the wallet tends to make more decisions than the heart.
I was able to lend some money to buy a better one to replace the old power supply, but goddamn it! It all set me back so much! I had a project for the new year's that is now going to be delayed because of this BULLSHIT!!
Also, just an aside, but if you could be so kind and donate to my Ko-fi, it'd be greatly appreciated! (and you'll even participate on a raffle! :3) Especially now I'm even deeper in the red with the power supply replacement. I just gotta be thankful I didn't lose anything else! ;w;
matlock99 was announced but nothing was done nor posted! That's because matlock99 actually REFUSED the 100$ discount! Claiming someone else deserved it more than he did.
While I personally think that's bullshit, because he DID pay 50$ for an adoptable, and according to the rules, he is ENTITLED to the discount. But also, as the rules states, he EARNED the discount and the discount is HIS. Which means that if he wants to forfeit it and return it, then it's fully within his rights to do so.
So we have a raffle of the first 24 orders to go through! Since we've took too long to sort this out, that means I'm gonna prioritize this raffle over other commissions. I know there's a few people waiting for comms to open, but please! I'm only one person. The fact we've got this far with so much shit going on is an accomplishment in and of itself.
I'm also gonna make a proper journal with access to spreadsheets where people will be able to see the raffles and who's participating in what. So hold your horses for now, it will get done in time.
Don't worry, I'm not gonna stop drawing plants, but I am going to take a break after one big sendoff to all this. I'll be focusing on redesigning other chars from another series, so really, we're still gonna be at the same old things, but different!
And since it's been delayed already. Yes, I was planning on posting all the plants that were released in 2024 today and tomorrow! But no... That power supply failure costed me more than just money... ;w;
- I will consider if doing more doodles is worth it. With my new graphics card, regular drawings may actually take just as long as simple doodles do.
- Please remember about the entries in my Personal Art Queue and how you can pay to have them drawn at half-price and still keep all the perks of a regular commission.
- The Giftober has already been fully planned and all candidates have been contacted already.
- If you pressure cook a can of condensed milk, you can make a dulce de leche-like cream that is very top bins! :3
- Turns out beef stroganoff goes great with mustard in it. While I prefer without it, someone who may want a stronger flavor may like it.
As for me, same as always, I'm currently in my folks' house comforting the dogs. They really don't take well to fireworks. xwx

1. Art Evolution in 2024
While 2023 was my first year drawing (ever!), the growth was sudden and drastic as I developed my skills. But 2024 is where I feel like I really refined them into something more acceptable in my eyes! That thing where an artist is never satisfied with their own work is true, but that's just part of the whole process, I think. What matters is that I certainly feel a lot more confident in my art than before, that much is a certainty! uwu2. I have a job now!
2024 was also a very good year... for me, at least. I'm certain a lot of people feel like... it could've been better. But I have gotten a full-time job in April which I have maintained until now, and it looks like I'm not dropping it anytime soon. Job is comfy enough and pays well... enough. If this were the 2000's, I'd be the protagonist of these movies with the office job and goes crazy due to how boring it is. I'm actually happy with a boring job because I get to rest my head during work hours while I go into overdrive when it's time to draw! >:3Hell, I'm actually pre-writing this journal during my shift! Talk about meta! lol

3. PC Upgrade!
While I have bought: The power supply, motherboard, processor, ram sticks, chassis and an SSD entirely with my art money. I ended up having to rely on my job to buy the chair and the graphics card (God bless the Christmas Bonus!). All of that took a while because I'm the one paying for groceries now and also the fact I have bought a new car (Land of the Automobile, remember?). Needless to say, I have been able to reinvest quite a bit into my art. Before, I struggled a LOT to draw because my old PC simply didn't have enough RAM and took its sweet ass time to load and save things. Later, I STILL struggled because even though I had a mostly new PC, I still relied on my old graphics card, which WASN'T enough for smooth drawing! It was only recently (read: roughly a week ago) that I have been able to finally draw at my full potential... only for the power supply to SUDDENLY reveal it was faulty and BLOW UP A FUSE!!I was able to lend some money to buy a better one to replace the old power supply, but goddamn it! It all set me back so much! I had a project for the new year's that is now going to be delayed because of this BULLSHIT!!

Some of you may have noticed that the Customer Raffle's previous winner

I'll be focusing on redesigning other chars from another series, so really, we're still gonna be at the same old things, but different!

The Giftober's Rules!

The Giftober!!
Here you'll learn everything that there is to know about the project, the rules, the tendencies and how it all works! ;3
Introduction
Let's begin by telling you how it is. The Giftober is an Inktober project that aims for daily uploads during the month of October. The theme is exclusively characters owned by other people portrayed in a consistent manner and theming across the project.
All entries are grayscaled, unshaded pieces. And they also fall under several rules while under this project. And speaking of them, let's talk about them now!
Rules
The Giftober has several hard-set rules that cannot and will not be broken under any circumstances. Here they are:
1. Characters CANNOT appear in The Giftober more than once. That goes for all future Giftobers as well. This rule is absolute.
2. Characters must not break the restrictions of my Content Disclaimer.
3. Characters are to be portrayed in the current theming (i.e. laying on a bed, on a stripper pole, etc.) of the project, which changes each year.
4. There are ONLY TWO WAYS for a character to be portrayed in The Giftober, which will be explained below...
How to Enter
The Giftober's methods of entering are as follow:
1. I will approach a potential candidate with a proposal while requesting permission to draw their character. Should they accept it or not is up to them and what that entails to will be discussed below.
2. An Auction will be held during the month of August in order to determine five potential extra candidates to be featured in the project. The rules stated above are still maintained. The specific details of the auction will be clarified on its own, dedicated journal.
There are no other possible methods of entry! Please do not request or recommend characters to be featured.
The Blacklist
Now, every once in a while, I am unable to acquire permission to draw a character, either because my request was denied or simply wasn't returned. For instances like these, I have created a Blacklist to mitigate expectations and also as a guide for other potential artists to educate themselves in who they can gift art to.

These people have failed to respond in the span of Two Weeks or more. It is not advisable to contact these people as a timely response is unlikely.
They are NOT banned from The Giftober! At least not until a Second Call is made, which if not responded, will result in a permanent ban.

These people have, for varied reasons, denied me permission to draw their character. Do not attempt to give giftart to these people, as they'd be unlikely to grant you permission to do so.
They are BANNED from The Giftober! Do not contact or message them about this matter! I have personally assured them that they wouldn't be bothered by this issue ever again!

Posted 2 years agoAlright! Welcome back to another of Anna's Bi-Annual Rambles! One of the things you get if you have the patience to stomach through artists who spend more time typing nonsense than actually sitting their asses down and draw some smut.
I'm Anna, a woman who's been climbing the artistic career ladder at a rate of six nuts. One year ago, I was a nobody, and today... I'm still a nobody, but I'm a lovable nobody! :3
But think about it, where could I be in a few years? Maybe I'll animate stuff, rig 3D models, or even get into congress!
I'll probably stick to what I do best: Drawing Porn. You like it, I like it. Everyone wins! X3
Anyways, there are many things that need to be said, stated or just have me vent my spleen. And since I, someone who cares about my audience, will not post a journal every week talking about my feelings or flood your timeline on twitter rambling about the price of cheeseburgers. I decide to hold off all that fluff to once every six months! This way you can be assured that I'm a human being and not a government agent planted to spy on you. (And even if I was, I'd look good doing it ;3)
Now let us begin in no particular order the topics at hand:
Now, my plans going forward stay the same: Draw stuff for money and for pleasure.
The projects I've got going will stay going and I'll work on them as the opportunities present themselves. I still have rabbids to draw, sonic chars, plants, banban chars, the works, y'know.
I'll also start scouting candidates for the Giftober, I'll post a journal detailing the proper rules and shit. I've seen quite a bit of OCs I'm still bitter at not having drawn this year.
My Personal Art Queue is basically my drawing plans. Sure, sometimes I deviate and draw... a skibidi toilet pvz oc, but aside from that, you know what's cooking in Anna's mind. ;3
Speaking of which, let's talk about it for a moment.
Which will include different characters, because you probably have noticed that I don't draw the same character twice. That's because I have the attention span of a housecat and will get bored of drawing the same character too much. Which is why I also won't draw comics. I sure as hell not gonna draw the same character over and over for free!
I also plan on drawing more popular characters, because the hundreds of upvotes on e621 makes me feel fuzzy :3. (they're like a bunch of toddlers, so easy to please X3)
Not that my other projects are dead on the water (even if they feel like that), I just have more stuff keeping me from drawing them. I mean, a guy had to wait 5 months for the Carbon & Diamond Dog pieces to come out! And there was nothing else coming in that time period. (aside from pvz and giftober and comms)
But how do you combat that? How can you fix the disgustingly long-wait between personal pieces? Well, the answer is simple!
Throw money at it until it's solved!
That's how our western society works! Aside from not being raped and having your clit torn off, you get to solve things with money! You can pay for personal pieces just like they were commissions! You get a 50% discount right off the bat! I mean, that's better than having a Patreon and waiting months for that moronic artist to finally draw something you like while you were showering them with money. And speaking of Patreon, let's talk about how I'm not going to open one!
Why? Simple! With everything moving to a subscriber-driven model, the last thing I want is to contribute to that dystopian society everyone wants to live in! I may be petty, ignorant, childish, short-tempered and lazy, but I have INTEGRITY!
Imagine you pay me 5 bucks each month to see some man-tiddies and all I draw are fucking urethral pieces?! That's a rip-off!!
At least here you're not paying me, so while you can complain, you can't get your money back. ('cause you gave none lol)
And not counting the fact that you'll be paying 5 bucks to the other 200 artists you like and are begging you for money. You'll be left so broke, you'll be wiping your ass with McDonalds napkins!!
And besides, it'll all be leaked on Kemono.Party and Ex-Hentai anyway. Paywalls lead to piracy! I know that very well, hence why I'm not even gonna bother.
I respect my audience too much to have them drain their bank accounts in order to afford chocolate so I don't kill any pedestrians while I'm driving. Instead, I'll let them support me through donations on Ko-Fi, which you do out of the pure goodness of your heart. Like real charity should be done! Only you're not helping money laundering schemes (all charities are money laundering schemes btw), you're helping me pay my bills! It's a good cause! If you like something, support it! Donate as much as you'd like, it can be a million dollars or nothing! It's the thought that counts. (Although actual donations will net you a place on a raffle, so keep that in mind ;3)

Anyways, with improved skills and actual experience to back shit up, I have decided to update my commission prices. Not only to reflect my skill-level, but also to compensate for my roommate's demotion, which, while left him very happy with the reduced levels of stress and responsibilities, he's also going to be making a whole lot less money. And he's the main bread-winner on our apt, so the poopie has hit the proverbial fan. The comms price adjustment is me opening up an umbrella so I'm not covered in shit.
The difference's gonna be minor. Heck, my customers probably won't even notice much of an increase. You're still getting cheaper than industry standards, so even when you're losing, you're still winning!

Anyways, with improved skills and actual experience to back shit up, I have decided to update my commission prices. Not only to reflect my skill-level, but also to compensate for my roommate's demotion, which, while left him very happy with the reduced levels of stress and responsibilities, he's also going to be making a whole lot less money. And he's the main bread-winner on our apt, so the poopie has hit the proverbial fan. The comms price adjustment is me opening up an umbrella so I'm not covered in shit.
The difference's gonna be minor. Heck, my customers probably won't even notice much of an increase. You're still getting cheaper than industry standards, so even when you're losing, you're still winning!

Well, the day has arrived! Now is the time to announce the results of the 100 Watchers' Raffle!
After tricking me into believing he just wanted to clear his stuff and old junk in his room, my roommate revealed his secret plan!
First, he picked all the participants at random and made a list. Second, he had me pick hotwheels cars for us to clean. I was completely unaware that we were already working on the raffle! His reasoning was "Your ignorance will ensure a completely random result!".
And after crossing the list he had made with the order of the cars I picked at random. We were ready to race them and put his old tracks to good use.
(also, good thing there were only 15 participants, 'cause he only had 16 of the tracks needed to built the downwards hill straight track.)

Anna's 1st Semester Update (plz read)
Posted 2 years agoAlright! This is the first of my semiannual updates, because let's be honest, you're not here to see me ramble once every week, you want PORN! And I'm all too happy to oblige! >:3
But once in a while, we need to talk a little, just to air things out.
First of all, thank you to all that have supported me in my first six months as an artist! Before January, I was just a horny girl doing shoddy edits on photoshop to masturbate to, and six months prior to that, I had never even held a tablet and a pen before!
But that all changed, and it kept changing due to people showing their support! Every person that provided a watch or a follow on twitter, or even an upvote on e621 had helped me keep going. But of course, special thanks go to the people that had so much faith in me, that they were willing to pay for it! Check out the raffle list if you wanna know who my biggest supporters are!
My skills greatly improved in the span of six months, from not knowing how to draw to... well, what you all have to enjoy now! ;3
And that's not me saying, that was the word of my closest supporters letting me know I on the right track.
The plans for the future... Well, use my newfound developed skills to make even greater art! And the kind that makes your dick explode with hardness! Because let's be honest, no one likes a wussy artist who is afraid of drawing tits or dicks... Unless they're a minor, in that case, they should just stick to looking at porn magazines hidden from their parents.

These pieces are all part of a stress-test I'm doing, to see how much content I can produce, how fast I can produce said content and if I can still keep the quality consistent. Beginning with the Rudy piece all the way up to now, I'm drawing simple pieces (with non-popular characters) non-stop to see where my limitations lie. Don't worry, everything is under strict control and I'll stop the moment I begin to get tired, which is kind of the whole point. Meanwhile, enjoy the very fappable art!
And that's no good! Most people that see the thumbnail for the adoptables see a bunch of low-res thingies and don't bother to check them out. And due to the fact that I crammed eight characters into one single post means that the overall quality and visuals suffer as a result. Which in the end, means none of them are selling! :(
So I'm gonna be re-releasing them in packs of two, like any competent artist would do instead of what I just did. I'll also clean up the overall presentation, to make it easier on the eyes. So don't be confused if I release adoptables you've already seen before, as this is why I'm gonna do it.
But seriously, don't be afraid to talk to me. Heck, don't be afraid to talk to anyone! Sure, some people may be asses, but sometimes, you may just find yourself a new good friend. :3

Current Battle Royaffle Standings!!

For context, there will be a raffle with all the contestants below in which one will be randomly picked and be granted a 100$ DISCOUNT!! The slots are claimed by completed commissions, meaning that the more orders someone has, the higher the chance they'll have of winning! Which means: If you see a lot of the same person... Posted 3 years agoBefore we start, just so you know that my art may not be reproduced, copied, edited, published, or sold in any way without my approval (But you can if you have my approval, though). Commissioners and owners of characters drawn are allowed to upload artworks directly related to them. And as always, credit should always be properly given.
Alright with that out of the way, let's begin the
T O S
(Terms of Service, in case you didn't know)
Warning: When biding on a commission slot, you're not only accepting all clauses on this TOS, but you're also claiming that you have read, understood and agreed with each and every single one of them.
So READ THEM FIRST!
What I Won't Draw
I have a content disclaimer that details everything I'm willing to draw and everything I refuse to draw. If you believe your order does not fit the disclaimer, then approach me to discuss it so that we might reach an agreement. Remembering that I have the right to deny orders and decline customers before payment is done for whatever reason. This shouldn't have to be said, but please, act respectfully. You will see that it might pay off more than you'd think (foreshadowing).
How does it work?
Stage 1: Ordering
You contact me and state that you wish to place an order for a commission. I will answer customers by chronological order. Those that sent the messages first will be replied to first.
Stage 2: Discussion
We discuss the idea and the process. You can send me reference sheets and images and we will reach an agreement. Or you can leave things to my disclosure, whatever you think it's best. This is also the time where you will be locked into the commission slot. (Warning: I'm not Santa, which means I won't try to surprise you. The PAYING customer has a right to determine how the artwork will turn out, so make use of that right when discussing.)
Stage 3: Sketching
I will come up with a rough sketch to determine the pose and the more important parts of the piece. Once the customer agrees with the simple sketch, Payment will be requested, which is done according to the Payment section. Afterwards, finer details and modifications to the sketch may begin before the customer grants permission to move on to the next stage.
Stage 4: Lineart
The lineart process will begin, at that point, only small changes may be requested. Bigger changes will result in extra fees. The customer will then be requested to greenlight the coloring process.
Stage 5: Coloring
The coloring process will begin, discussion and changes may only pertain to color-related matters. The customer will then be requested to greenlight the shading/lighting process.
Stage 6: Shading
The shading/lighting process will begin. Any changes not regarding shading and lighting made at this point will result in extra fees that might cost up to 50% of the original price.
Stage 7: Delivery
Once the final touches are made, the final product is delivered in full resolution, as well as the PSD file of the piece. Once delivered, the commissioner slot is updated to announce the conclusion, along with application of available perks.
Payment
Payment is through a PayPal link that will be provided to you. It must be in US Dollars (or the current equivalent to it). This point is not up for discussion. (Also, due to some concerns regarding PayPal's policies, you are required to remove any shipping adresses when paying in order to protect the both of us)
Usage
The finished piece will be posted according to an agreement made between the commissioner and the artist. The commissioner has the right to: Censor the artwork on public platforms, Give away as a bonus to paid services (i.e. Adopts, Character Sales and Figurines), Protect their identity, which will just be anonymous to the public and Make their commission private.
However, the commissioner is not allowed to: Sell the art as it is (You need to sell something connected to the piece, which can then be given as a bonus), Commercialize it without warning me or without my approval, Hide their commission slot (You can make yourself anonymous, however), Claim credit for it or Refuse to give credit when it's due.
Perks
Upon a commission`s completion, the customer is advised to record chat logs and evidence of their order for future approval of the Lucky Seventh discount. The customer will also automatically participate in a Battle Royaffle along with other customers. More information about these two perks can be found here.
Cancellations and Refunds
Given that payment is only done at Stage 3 after the sketch is approved, cancellations and refunds vary depending on the progress of the commission.
Before Payment (Stage 1-3)
No refund is given because no payment was given.
At Stage 4 (Lineart)
50% of the original value (not including PayPal fees) will be refunded. Lineart will be modified to be repurposed without using any property belonging to the ex-commissioner.
At Stage 5 (Coloring)
25% of the original value (not including PayPal fees) will be refunded. The remains of the artwork will be repurposed without using any property belonging to the ex-commissioner.
At Stage 6-7 (Shading & Delivery)
No refund will be given. There is no reason to cancel an order this late in development. But if that should happen for whatever reason. The remains of the artwork will be repurposed without using any property belonging to the ex-commissioner.
(You can determine the stages by the permission the commissioner needs to give.)
If an emergency occurs or I am found to be unable to complete a commission and am forced to cancel it myself. Then the entire value (100%) will be refunded, along with the current progress of the piece, which can be supplied at a later date for completion at a discount depending on the stage it was left on.
Also, don't forget I have the right to deny service if payment is not concluded, interrupted or retracted.

Here's how they work!
Lucky Seventh:
When a commissioner is delivered a total of 6 (SIX) completed orders, they will receive a 50% discount on their Seventh (7th) one. Simple to understand, it's like a loyalty card. Once the Lucky Seventh Discount is claimed, the "counter" resets and the customer may only receive another discount after six additional completed orders.

Triple R stands for RECYCLE pieces, REUSE lines and REDUCE workload! If you want a variation, a recolor or reuse a pose from a previous piece of mine, you are eligible for the Tripe R Discount! How does it work? Well, first of all, you don't pay the base price for a commission! What you pay for instead is how much the existing drawing will be modified! You can check how much it can potentially cost on my price sheet.
However, there are some downsides to this perk: First of all, due to the highly variable nature of the variants and such, as well as the fact that the base price is ignored altogether, this discount is incompatible with any other perks.
