Posted 11 years agoPaypals 'Robbed' - Update + HELP
Posted 11 years agoStreulicht wrote:Original story here: http://www.furaffinity.net/journal/5685355/
So paypal sent me an email today that was TL;DR for most.
In a nutshell it was this:
'The person who took your money, closed and deleted their paypal account.'.
Essentially.. they have no way of tracing where it went.. and if they can, it'll take weeks if not months of foraging..
I've already considered myself screwed for the month, but this brought me to a different low...
But I won't stop trying.. :C
... Please help me..

Ideas..? Going to need a bit more Financial Help-
Posted 12 years agoSo, last thursday, there was a big thunder storm in our area. The storm Knocked out a transformer at my husband's work and now it's going to take 3-4 weeks for a replacement. This means he will be out of work for that time and on Unemployment which will take at least a week or two to take effect..
Soooo, I'm needing help to pick up the slack a bit.. I have a lot of work already that I need to finish so it really wouldn't be wise of me to take too much more, at least until I can finish some of what I have already.. I really REALLY dislike asking for donations.. But I feel bad for the commissioners that are currently waiting on work if I take a anymore..
So my situation is kind of Rock <=> Hard place. I feel terrible for asking, but I could really use the help..
Donations can go to my paypal if you wanna help.. ae_mckay[at]hotmail.com
ANYTHING is appreciated at this point. If you don't mind waiting a while for artwork, Donations for anything over $50 will be put on a list for some work, but I warn it could take a while.. Just leave your FA Username with the code 404 with a random number at the end of it. [eg; 404-5] just so I know what it was from.
Many many many thanks in advance.. <3333
Won't be Streaming Anymore-
Posted 12 years agoOnly for a while!! Relax guys.
I've just decided that Livestreaming has become a bit more of a distraction than anything trying to get work done.. I talk a lot and work little. So I want to be a bit more focused when I work at nights and see if I'll be a bit more productive.
I have a long list of things that need to get done and I'd love more than anything to get a dent put into it so I can take some more work this month to help pay rent.
Thanks for your patience and understanding!
I'll update as to when I'll begin streams again. If you're interested in work please note me. For those waiting on commissions, I WILL UPDATE YOU. I have a lot of WIP's right now and most will be finished shortly. I have you all in list, so please bear with me. :3

Iic'Horrin Information Journal-
Posted 12 years agoSo, For those interested in the species! :D
Iic'Horrin come in several available subspecies from tiny to towering.
The Pixie Iic'Horrin:
Ref: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/9138157/
Information:
Expected Age: 300 yrs. appx.
These tiny Iic's are the smallest of all Subspecies, standing no higher than 2 and a half feet tall. They're extremely fleet of foot and very shy. Patterns similar and relating to other current living specimens of creatures on earth. [eg; baby deer.] Their diets are omnivorous ranging from vegetation such as grasses, water plants and fruits/veggies to fish and insects. Rarely do they eat carrion, but if hungry enough they will not question it.
Average size: 2-3ft
Human Contact: Always avoid human interaction.
Speech: Only ranges of squeaks, chirps, chitters and whines. Rarely will they speak human tongues.
Reproduction: Herms only. Reproduction still takes place between two individuals much like worms, slugs and snails, depending on the exchange of genetic material. The birth of Pixie Iic's is the same as that of other Iic'Horrin species, in that a fluid filled orb is birthed with an underdeveloped embryo encased. Once born, the embryo quickly develops and 'hatches' peeling out of the rubbery casing and begin walking within 24 hours. [Same for all Iic'Horrin species.]
The Pygmy Iic'Horrin:
Expected Age: 550 Yrs. Appx.
Reference: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/7787898/
The Pygmy Iic'Horrin are the second smallest of the Iic' family. Standing no taller than 5 feet tall, they're very athletic and nomadic. Never staying in one place for long, they prefer to stay in the wilds rather than urban settings, staying in woodlands or grasslands that are plentiful with game. It's not unusual to see the Pygmy wearing clothing fashioned from the skins of animals they're killed and eaten. They can be found in small groups of no more than 6, but are always found in even numbers. They will even join up with other clans of Pygmies for large game hunting. They will use tools that they make themselves. Their skin and fur transitions colours between the seasons. During the spring and summer months, their pelts are naturally occurring colours found on existing mammals in nature. [browns, greys, reds, and shades of black.]
Q: "Do they fight among each other for territory?"
A: Good question. No. they're generally pretty friendly to one another, going as far as to share land plots.
Average size: 4-5 feet.
Human Contact: Avoids contact with humans unless urgently needed for supplies hard to find during the winter months.
Speech: Known to speak in human tongue, but have a range of noises they will make to one another for communication, much like wolves.
Reproduction: Male or Female only. Birth is the same as the Pixie. Pygmies have been known to carry their young in leather carriers on their backs made from the tanned and treated leathers of animals.
The Standard Iic'horrin:
Expected Age: 3800 yrs. Appx.
Reference: https://www.furaffinity.net/view/6225123/
The standard Iic'Horrin is the most well known Iic'Horrin. As a species, they come in all sorts of naturally occurring colours, with the same occurring colours in a wide variety of patterns, seemingly based on earthly elements. They are found worldwide in all sorts of terrains, the polar tundras included. Their manes, tails and mouth-flesh are the only things that vary unnaturally in colors. Iic'horrin saliva can be consumed by humans as it's very similar in molecular makeup to fresh water. Handy in desert regions!
They come in three varieties: Demon spirited, Phantom spirited and Harlequin spirited. When the Iic'Horrin are young, they possess neutral spirits. While at their young ages, they separate from their mothers to be trained and taught by Elder Iic'Horrin in life's lessons and wisdoms. Their spirits will slowly form based on these lessons and how the Elder Iic's influence them in their teachings. They differ as follows:
Demon Spirited: Demon Iic'Horrin have deeply influenced spirits; generally fuelled by darkness and hatred, they're unfriendly and very rarely accepting of others. When angred, their bodies react by shutting off the sense of sight and producing tar from the facial orifices.
Phantom Spirited: Phantoms have gentle hearts filled with good intentions. Their personalities are generally quiet and reserved, but are known to have silver tongues and be extremely eloquent. They are not to be underestimated despite their kind personalities.
Harlequin Spirited: Harlequins are a mix of both Phantom and Demon spirits. They became this way for lack of understanding or the inability to comprehend the morals of which the elder Standard Iic's have imposed upon them. They suffer side effects that are very similar to Human Bipolar Disorders.
Average size: 4.5-6ft
Human Contact: Occasional contact. Even known to make committed bonds with one human for their lifetime. But since humans rarely live past 100, the Iic'Horrin will spend the rest of their lives carrying their human's spirit with them until the Iic' themself actually passes.
Speech: Speaks human tongue. Can learn many languages of the species. The standard Iic'Horrin are slowly losing their native language.
Reproduction: Herms and females both give birth. Males and herms can impregnante. Birth is the same as the Pixie + Pygmy. Iic'Horrin mothers give birth in solitary confinement, usually trapping themselves in caves with hotsprings available after squirrelling away foodstuffs over time. Once the Iic'ling makes it to a week old, they will leave the safety of the cave to venture. Baby iic's are fully capable of defending themselves at 3 weeks of age.
The Imperial Iic'horrin:
Expected age: Unknown.
Reference: [COMING SOON]
Not much is known yet about the Imperial Iic'horrin. The males are differently scaled than the females, making them sexually dimorphic in this way. They also have risen plates on the muzzle trailing back to the head. Quite often you will see that they have 2 pairs of intricate horns rather than just one set.
Average Size: 6.5-8ft
Human Contact: See Standard Iic'Horrin.
Speech: Predominantly Human Tongue but they also speak Draconic. They've adopted these languages since they've completely lost their own tongue over the years after a war wiped out their elders who taught the language.
Reproduction: Male or Female only. Birth is the same as the other Iic's. Postnatal care is the same as the Standard.
Please comment with any questions and I'll happily answer to the best of my ability! :D

"I want to talk to you but Good Artists are so intimidating"
Posted 12 years ago[TL/DR - Nutshell summary at the bottom.]
You have no idea how often I hear this.. And it's rather saddening for me to hear, although I know the truths of this all too well..
Truth be told; a lot of good artists are actually very friendly and easygoing. However there are a handful of them that have a lot of stress due to workload and life things. [school, work etc,] And others just let the idea of them being popular get to their heads.
I'm very open to meeting new people and talking to you should you wish to talk to me! All I ask is that you not be intentionally rude. If I find that I dislike your company for any reason, I WILL tell you. Because I'm very straightforward like that.. :U But it's not often that that happens.
So if you should feel so inclined to say hello, Send me an Email, [NOT A NOTE. Notes are for commissions.] @ Annubrius[at]gmail.com simply and appropriately titled with a 'Hello' and I'll get back to you! Promise. :D
I love answering questions from anyone if you have any. Just make them logical, please. haha. Silly questions that can be answered on your own through common sense shouldn't be asked.. But if you really seriously just wanna know, feel free to ask. Inappropriate questions that are emailed won't be answered. :/ Save it for a TMI Tuesday journal.
You can also add me to skype if you feel so inclined! Just please remember that I may not always answer right away, as I do have a toddler to look after as well as working on artwork during the day. :D Annubrius is my name for Skype.
Thanks for reading if you made it this far!
[TL/DR - popular artists that think they're hot shit suck. Most are nice, but there are a select few that just .. I don't even. I can relate. If you can't easily communicate to a person who's intimidating, it's hard. I feel it's important to be able to speak with clients openly and in a friendly manner. So feel free to talk to me! Contact info above.
