As a person whom is essentially a west coast person. If I chose one fur con to go to this year, what'd give me the best bang for my buck?

Only con I've been to is Rainfurrest in 2012, and it was nice but felt kinda insular.

That doesn't mean I'm not going to see it at some point, but Disney's marketing campaign really ruined any real hype I had going into this. I mean, it just got annoying after awhile, and there was just no way that this irritation wasn't going to affect my enthusiasm for seeing the movie. Still, I'll probably see it sometime after Christmas. Also, no I don't really care about spoilers. I was never so invested in Luke and companies story to really wonder what happened to them afterward, so I'll just put any spoilers out of mind when I watch the movie.

PS: Yes I did see these films when I was really young. Just because you're exposed early doesn't mean you're going to have lots of warm fuzzies towards a franchise.

Write down a simple story idea, and if I like it I'll do my best to write it. To clarify, just saying a transformation type doesn't really count as a story, though I do like transformation stories.

Also, I won't write outright porn. Sexiness is fine, but I have limits to what I'm comfortable writing. XD

Alex is a socially shy bookworm who loves fantasy novels and the idea of adventure. It's not uncommon for her to get lost in fantasy and to start playing out sword fights and whatnot with a ruler or anything else on hand, only to freeze with embarrassment when she realizes what she's doing in front of other people. This remains a fantasy until one day a race of magical darkness aligned space dragons returns to earth, have last visited roughly around the same time when the Roman empire was in power. These dragons follow a giant organic asteroid that spawns them, and travels from planet to planet, stripping it of it's innate magic, (which typically has the side effect of ending off life on said planets.)

Alex, being a direct descendent of one of the Zodiac Knights, one of many warriors magically augmented to combat Void Dragons, gains the ability to transform when she finds herself in the middle of a Void Dragon attack. Upon transforming into Alexandra the Great, Alex gets taller, more athletic, curvier, and loses most if not all social inhibitions. She also gains natural talent with a Gladius and Shield, and access to a tremendous amount of magic.

After fighting off her first Void Dragon, she vows to find out more about the history of the Zodiac Knights, find other descendents, and do all she can to protect the world from the passing Void Dragons. So basically, she's a Roman themed magical girl, and her transformation is more then just getting pretty clothes.

Anyhow, if I were to sell this character, people would get the character, posting rights to all the artwork I've commissioned, rights to the setting, and the right to pick my brain about how to further flesh things out. Also it's worth noting that I wouldn't normally do this, but I just don't have the resources to do this character justice, and as such have never been able to expand upon this setting as I would like. I would like to hand her off to somebody with more resources, and who really likes the character and concept.

Now, I still need to contact as many of these artists as I can to make certain they're okay with me transferring the rights to this character. However before I go any further I need to ask people here what they think would be fair for all this. I'm planning to sell this via auction, so all I'm wondering is what would be a fair starting price. Seeing as I cannot count on there being a bidding war, that starting price would need to be at least somewhat worth my while to justify losing the rights to a character I rather adore.

Anyhow, prompt responses would be great. Seeing as there's only a few days left in this Crowdfunding campaign, I can't afford to take my time with this. <_<;;

For those not in the know, Lab Zero Games the creators of Skull Girls, are running a crowd funding campaign for a new action RPG title. What is not being reported is that if this campaign fails Lab Zero will likely have no option but to disband. What's worse, for whatever reason the campaign is behind it's goal and is running out of time.

Fortunately, I have it on good authority that if this campaign hits 900K in donations, Indiegogo is inclined to get the campaign a twenty day extension. So donations right now are extremely important. Lab Zero Games is an excellent developer that actively engages the gaming community and remains very transparent. They even gave customers new copies of Skull Girls after Konami pulled support for the game and Lab Zero had to find a new publishing deal. They are an excellent addition to the gaming development world and it would be a shame to see them disappear.

Please go to Indiegogo and donate if you possibly can. It doesn't cost much, and it'll get you a copy of Indivisible when it releases anyway. :)

I won't go into details, but something passed on right in front of me, in a manner that you couldn't show on television.

I don't drink though, so I need to do something else to get it out of my mind.

I happened across this question while brainstorming for a possible story, but I'm not certain this is a question I can answer myself. What scents do women actually find sexy and masculine? I was leaning towards old leather and black licorice, but those feel like more of a stereo type than anything else.

I really am curious about this now.

Well, I have enough to survive mind you, but until I'm paid back that's about it.

Here's what happened. As some of you may know, my older brother has been fighting cancer on and off for the past few years, and he just finished up treatment for hopefully the last time a few weeks ago.

The problem is, that while he was in the hospital, his wife was handling money, and she just sucks at handling money. He basically got out of the hospital just in time to see that his accounts were about empty and that his rent was due.

So, I stepped up and, covered his rent. I mean between him being sick and having kids what else could I do?! I had to put it on credit, but it was pretty much the only viable option, everyone else was just tapped out.

Hopefully he can start paying me back before interest starts piling up, because I don't actually make a lot, and my credit sources have a rather steep interest rate.

Either way, there won't be any more commissions until this is cleared up. Drives me nuts, seeing as I keep thinking I'll be able to start getting stuff again, but hopefully after this I'll finally be able to get back into the swing of things.

No input device works once Windows boots up. Cannot F8 boot into safety mode because I use an SSD. BD ROM Drive broke a few weeks ago, and I can't find my copy of windows 8 anyway.

So, I had a little mix-up about a week or so ago, suffice to say I had to have something refunded on Steam but they would only give me Steam Credit, rather than refunding my card. Well what I'd like to do at this point, is to gift people games in exchange for the price of the game via paypal, so I could actually put that money back into my actual account.

So what I guess I'm saying, is that if anyone see's something they want on Steam, and you would like to help me out, gimme a holler and we can arrange some sort of exchange.

Gotta say, they're really going all out for the FFXIV expansion. This is in ADDITION to full CG trailer, which ALSO has excellent music.



I think what I like most about Dragonsong, is that despite the excellent sound, it's actually dripping with lore from the game. The song is just dripping with refferences to the game world, including the history of the Dragonsong War, some of the unique vocabulary of Eorzea, and even special attacks.

For example the line, "why create a circle none can break?" is actually a reference to Bahamutt's signature Tank Buster move Akh Morn; which in Dragon Language translates into, "Circle of Death."

There's just tons of little things like that littered throughout the song.

I have a cold right now, so I'm both feeling loopy and have plenty of time to think. So I figured I'd explain something, as long as I have the time.

Frequently I get people asking me for pictures of Cindi, or one of my other characters, in classically tittalating attire or poses. I've even been asked to have her dressed up in stuff like dominatrix gear, or for pictures of her during moments that would most generously be called private.

There are two reasons why I rarely go this far with my characters. First, there is the fact that I am a rather shy man, and was raised to believe that certain matters should be kept private, so I'm not terribly comfortable crossing a certain threshold to start with.

More importantly however, I actually find a lot of these things, curves, sexy poses, revealing outfits, etc; to only be minimally compelling without one very specific ingredient.

Affection.

There is a vast gulf between two random warm bodies coupling, and a close and trusting couple making love. For me at least, the later is vastly more compelling. If given the chance, I doubt I'd go to bed with a complete stranger, regardless of how beautiful she may be. However, the thought of "spending time, " with a woman who shared genuine feelings of affection for me, is a vastly exciting concept.

As for why I don't show this exactly, well, again I'm shy but in addition to that affection is harder to write. This is especially true if you try to combine it with other subjects I find compelling.

On this subject, I am going to try to get something new commissioned soon.

Finally paid off my primary Credit Card, so I'm rewarding myself. I ordered an XFX Radeon R9 290 off Amazon; and after using some gift cards I'd saved up it only cost me $160 usd.

Frankly, I really needed something like this. Between my brother being sick with Cancer, and having to deal with overly aggressive jerks online, things have just been really tough.

Hopefully I can start commissioning things as well soon too. That'll probably happen in May, after I finish paying off this GPU and start rebuilding my buffer.

I'm okay, just a bit banged up.

The bolt holding the bicycle seat on snapped off when I was going about 15 miles per hour. Thankfully I was able to brace the impact with my legs, but I'm still bruised and scrapped all over, and the bicycle will need extensive repairs before it can be used again.

Horrible timing, because money is tight for me right now. >_<;;

Based on a French MMO. Wakfu follows Yugu a young boy with the power to make portals, on a quest to discover his family and true origins. From that simple premise, the shows creators manage to create one of the most satisfying animated series I've seen in years. The animation is beautiful, the characters are mostly great, (Amalia can be a bit grating at times, but she's still a good character in her own right,) and the action sequences are EXTREMELY well done. Early on most the action is on par with what you might see in an episode of Avatar the last airbender, or Naruto, and although it keeps this flavor throughout the series, eventually we see some fights that look like they might be more at home in shows like Dragonball Z, and yet it all still fits.



On top of all that, the first season villain, a time mage named Nox. An insane tinkerer surrounded by all sorts of clockwork monstrosities, Nox desires an immense source of Wakfu (think, aura, chi, ki, or chakra,) all to undo the effects of one bad decision. Nox is one of the best written villains I've seen in a long time. He manages to simultaneously be frightening, effective, and sympathetic, all at the same time. By the end of season one, while there is little doubt that Nox is a monster, it's impossible not to empathize with his situation, we all have regrets and who wouldn't want to change things if we could.

That isn't to say the series is without downsides. It heavily references terms from the MMO it's based on, without giving an explanation of those terms. For the most part these terms are mostly slang however, so most of the time not knowing these slang terms immediately doesn't impact the story, and you pick up on their meaning in time. The exception to this, is that later in the series, (During the OVA, which has not come out in America yet,) they reference events, people, and relationships, that you wouldn't know of if you hadn't played the game, even then it doesn't impact enjoyment too much however.

The other downside, is that the English localization is a bit, spotty. Some of the names of characters have been changed to sound less French, (I guess,) and some characters are not voiced that well. (Percedal's screams man, ugh.) This is a huge shame, as personally French is not a language I particularly enjoy listening to, for reasons I don't understand myself. This isn't to say the localization is horrible though, many of the characters voices are spot on, and name changes in a localization aren't a huge deal if you aren't already following the franchise before the localization.

Overall, despite one or two flaws, I cannot recommend Wakfu enough. It is currently Streaming exclusively on Netflix, and can be viewed both in English and in it's original French language track.

Aaaaaaaaand it looks like my brothers cancer is probably back again.

Would you look to see more of my, slightly less furry fandom centric characters? And get stories and pictures that focus on world building or whatnot? The recent picture of Ooka would be a good example of this.
