The Role of Creator...

A week gone I was avidly chatting with two of my friends about various stories I had written, are writing, and have the idea to write and somehow we got onto the subject of Dungeon and Dragons, D&D. So my friend wants me to try being the DM in the next D&D get together on the 19th of this month.
Despite me having never had interest in D&D and persisting in the philosophy that it is easily one of the nerdiest things ever created short of pocket protectors. Yet here I am reading the damned books, learning to kill them all, er I mean learning to "provide a fun and challenging experience."
So for all intents and purposes I have been given the role of creator, or unless you've seen Inception, the role of Architect and Dreamer.
This is a bad idea of course and I fully intend to prove as much using my dark humor and insistance to mind boggling challenges.
And yes I've been neglecting my writing duties and I'll be getting back to those ASAP.

In which case happy early first day of march.

I feel sort of bland right now.
Kind of an empty bland. Not THAT kind of empty. I'd just a well stay that sort of empty.
I just feel empty in the way that there doesn't feel like anything thats even a tad amusing.
So that pretty much makes this a kind of, sort of, shit saturday.
Maybe I'll doodle, that might make for some good. Das Guten in fact.

My elbow is still shredded. Thank you, Lassi.
I overslept so I keep yawning, thats getting dull.
The next two days to myself and nothing to fill them.
Tried to check out the newest update of HTH2 this morning. Long story short, there's a lot to say about it.
This journal is over for now. I honestly don't feel like finishing it.

So yeah, of late I've taken up the habit of double spacing lines, not quite sure why but the habit bugs me.
How much does this habit bug me? Alright, you know how some people get really irritated when you tap your foot on the floor? Yeah, about that much.
Now, when I started this journal I had already forgotten what I was going to put here and now it hasn't gotten any better.
Although, while I was profile-jumping I found SOMEONE with a very interesting journal and their veiw in said journal was a very good read...
My watch is going off. No my watch isn't relevant to this journal but while I was typing it I just happened to here it from my bedroom. I'm in the den, its in my bedroom, I could hear it over V for Vendetta and that goes to show how loud that damned watch is, when Kitty isn't chewing on it that is.
>.> that rotten little shit takes off with it while I'm sleeping because CLEARLY she can't just sleep when I do, darkness no! She has to make a mess...
I pretty much decided I can do a Valentines piece but I honestly can't think of what to DO for such a thing. Any Suggestions?

I suppose I should wrap this up although I don't really need to. I've already decided I'm not even going to try sleeping until V for Vendetta is done since I haven't seen it in.... four months if I remember right.
If anyone has read [Dragon Mother] I am currently having it proof-read in which after such I will continue writing it.
Starting .... probably late today, its currently 1:06am here, I'm going to go back through my gallery and re-read my works, applying my writer's touch where it is deemed needed.
The rest of this week and weekend I will be working to wrap up some smut stories I've head started for..... ages.
I don't like February. Its not just because it holds Valentines day, its not just because it's still winter and thus not a good time to run around as I normally would, that is too say without sock or shoes and a bandana, and its not just because its annoying time of year. The main reason I don't like the month of February is simply thus: I don't like how its pronounced; it leaves a strange feel behind it and I don't like it. The month could be full of golden sparkes and metallic colored confetti and .... alright, if it were like that I would actually hate it more, but point being nothing will make me like this month anymore than I already do. Which is to say I don't.
Maybe I had some bad experience in the month of February and thats the real reason I don't like it but I really doubt it. I'm more understanding than that. There was something here......
Nevermind, can't find it. 1:16am
In late commemoration of Valentine's Day, or maybe in direct rebellion of it I'm going to list things I don't like:
Valentine's day, bigots, diet soda, women with lady gaga hair, peanut butter, ticks and leeches, mosquitoes, my sisters (usually excluding Mongo), my dad's dog Cujo, Aladdin, Merry Poppins, grape or orange flavored anything (excluding the actual fruit), people that can't drive and talk on the phone at the same time, people that driver hummers, hummers in general, nosy critiques (the ones that look over your shoulder while you're working and give uneeded criticizism <spelled wrong), Mortal Kombat, hugs, glomps, most perfumes and colognes, papercuts, aaaaaaaannnnnnd rap music.
This is just a shortened list and I will never post a full list because it would take all day just to read it.
Now also in commemoration of (Insert something commemorative) I'm leaving this journal open to questions to which I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Every question will be taken into consideration and answered properly, again to the best of my knowledge.

This is just a shortened list and I will never post a full list because it would take all day just to read it.
Now also in commemoration of (Insert something commemorative) I'm leaving this journal open to questions to which I will answer to the best of my knowledge. Every question will be taken into consideration and answered properly, again to the best of my knowledge.

Assumed Chains of Poetry?
General | Posted 15 years agoI am quite sure I'm not the only person for whom the weight of one's own poetry was applied to oneself.
Time and time again the words and meanings of my own poetry, much as I detest it, has been applied to myself.
I may write a grand a powerful poem but that does not mean it is about me or for me.
When I write poetry, if that is what it may be called, I do not write my barest thoughts and lightest soul upon paper and from there to the vast halls of the internet.
When I write poetry it is for no other reason then to keep a potentially good idea from going to waste and to show the world at large that every single pleasant thing has the darkest sides to it.
I may write a poem of death and sorrow but that DOES NOT mean that I feel sorrowful or that someone near me has died. It means inspiration has once more hit me in the back of the head, smashing my face against the keyboard until I co-operate with its insidious whispers.
I write poems and prose of love and joy, dismay and despair, life and death, dark and light but honestly I still stand uneffected by them and no better or worse because of them. I am a completely different mind, soul, heart, etc, pick your weighty object, than my poetic writings.
THAT is why I have a writing alias. To further point out that I, AnthonyM, do not feel the things I write of in poetry. I don't like poetry. I don't like writing it and I don't like reading it. If I read it someone got lucky and I happened across it whilst in a mood to read. If I favorite a poem then Bravo! You wrote something exceptionally dark or I liked the tone of it.
Poems and poetry aren't my thing and I don't like the meanings of them applied to me.

I know I haven't gotten anything posted recently and thats due to being busy with too many "little bit of this and that" matters
HOPEFULLY, I should have [No Manner of Man or Beast] posted today along with an updated version of [Link to Brotherhood] which is no relation to Full Metal Alchemist Brotherhood in any way, shape, or form. I should have a lot of work to keep myself busy in the time being. I have so many stories banging around in my head and they're hard to keep track of.
Also it isn't a nice thing to come to FurAffinity and see "You have 38742 new messages (24054s, 983c, 13558j, 105F, 42W)
Most of those are old. I have never deleted any of my favorites or watches so those aren't 105 and 42 NEW favorites and watches respectively

Also the reason why I get about a 100 submissions to look through each day but, hey. I keeps the day interesting ^-^

Sure there was A dragon in [Love, The Star That is my Dreams] but it was there for archaic value and the story wasn't ABOUT it.
Whereas [Dragon Mother] a story I have yet to post here is ABOUT dragons
as is the sequel to [Kimiros' Tree] which I have also yet to post here.
I just have A LOT of things I have yet to post here. Some because I'm not done with them yet.
Some because they're pretty shitty writing.
Also, I re-read [The bus Ride I Didn't Expect] and I had some changes to make, mostly grammatical and taking my friend's advice I touched up the amount of the word "ass" that was in it. Which was five times which I didn't think was much but in a few places it just wasn't need so now its used three times. Then my friend pointed out that I used the word "member" too many times to which I promptly punched him. He has a valid point though.
It must take some variation of dedication to read journals of mine that wind up this long I swear.
Usually they wouldn't be this long but the longer I type the more I remember different things that need mention or deserve mention.
Whoops. Got distracted typing and forgot to finish this journal...

General | Posted 15 years agoAs I was writing up more of [Link to Brotherhood] I turned to my friend and I ask him,
"What color is Bay?"
He looks at me like I've asked him why horses don't explode and says, "Bay?"
I nodded, "Yeah, like a Bay colored horse"
He looks down at his book, shakes his head like I'm crazy and says, "I don't know. What color do want it to describe?"
I looked pensively at the wall, "A light tan"
He then spastically flailed his arms, "Then write light tan!"
So I did. For the time being. I later looked up Bay and out of the twenty-two definitions that I arrived at I found the one I was looking at....
Turns out Bay is a reddish brown.
So fuckall to the light tan! The horse is Bay!
It was during the "What color is Bay?" part of my conversation with my friend that this was the first time I ever used horses in a story

Anyways I'm going to go do some stuff that is both time consuming and testing of patience.

He looks at me like I've asked him why horses don't explode and says, "Bay?"
I nodded, "Yeah, like a Bay colored horse"
He looks down at his book, shakes his head like I'm crazy and says, "I don't know. What color do want it to describe?"
I looked pensively at the wall, "A light tan"
He then spastically flailed his arms, "Then write light tan!"
So I did. For the time being. I later looked up Bay and out of the twenty-two definitions that I arrived at I found the one I was looking at....
Turns out Bay is a reddish brown.
So fuckall to the light tan! The horse is Bay!
It was during the "What color is Bay?" part of my conversation with my friend that this was the first time I ever used horses in a story

Originally I was going to post a journal saying nothing except: "Venting until further notice" but it is not needed for I have already regained my clarity of mind.
Also I am no longer sick for I have once more prevailed over sickness.
Working on a cluster-fuck of everything right now but I'll have something to show for it soon.
Also need to do work for 1000 comments recieved, 100 Favorites, and 2000 pageviews; which I missed seeing by twenty or so. (My bad. I missed seeing 2000 pageviews by SEVENTY or so.)

10:18pm: I finished the 3rd Eragon book, Brisingr today less than 20 minutes ago for the second time. Finishing this book left me feeling great.
Beyond words great.
:raja101: is being kind in his exact words, "In the mood to do requests and trades ^_^ first 15 that comment to this get one :P dont forget to add what you want done ^_^" Need I say more? I do? Wel this puts me in an uncomfortable place.... errrr.... Don't try to sneeze and walk at once unless you want to trip. Don't listen to fools with only their redeeming feature holding them together. and..... err.... Never lose yourself in the toils of everyday life and the strife it serves to sow.
I think I've said quite enough on that.
Anyhoo I've had time and energy in these past few days to contemplate the full scope of NOTHING. Almost had you going there didn't I?
Truthfully though I've had no deep thouhts on anything because that just ISN'T the kind of person I am. Woah... just got dizzy. Anyways here's a story:
Charles was on his way to his girlfriend's house for she had to do some menial task before she accompanied his and his friend Zach to Motley. He sat waiting at the stop sign next to the bar with his foot on the brake, ready to get onto the highway. A large white truck had just passed him and the car that had been behind the truck was signaling to turn. Taking the innitiative he released the brake and laid on the gas. At first his car lurched forward, normal as ever. Halfway through the turn unto the highway time seemed to slow as he saw a blue car out of the corner of his eye. His every movement was sluggish as he turned his head to see the car heading at him. In what felt like a full minute yet was likely seconds he closed his eyes and waited for the impending crash. His car rocked as it was struck and his world fell into absolute darkness as it was propelled by the force of the other vehicle. When finally his vision returned he first realized he felt a draft and couldn't remember opening the window. Next he realized his hands still locked on the steering wheel as if it was all that held him. After getting out of his vehicle and inspecting what damage there was it hit him that he had been struck in the front driver side.

Thats why I didn't hang out with my good friend Charles on Friday. Him, his girlfriend Lucy, and our friend Fatty were in a car accident. Short for a story I know but I wasn't there. Hence why it happened. Everyone is fine except Lucy, who has short term memory loss and was kept in the hospital overnight.
Anyways for now I'm going to end this journal here at 10:48pm because I forgot what I was going to type next.

They look miserable in full view so don't do that. Though all of its a hassle the biggest issue I have with it is I can't sing right now. Which sucks because I really like to sing but anything beyond low grating words is beyond me. To.... well, today technically I'm hanging with my good friend Charles and his girlfriend Lucy. Hopefully I'll have a picture for the occassion despite my hate of pictures.
Rockoons 2 is taunting me with its music.... it urges me to sing when I cannot >.> damn you Mother Nature and you're insistence on irritating me!
Anyways, Tair was adopted by some old lady that called me Guy, likely due to not knowing my actual name...
Stuffy nose is gettin' to me too....
THAT ALL ASIDE if anything, ANYTHING at all goes right I should have a flow of short stories and poems flooding my submissions ... place...

Oh and to leave this off with a cliffhanger....

That time of year
General | Posted 15 years agoWhich is actually this time of year. . . like right now always has me using words like "Cute", "Kawaii", "Beautiful", and "Huggable".
I guess its just the holiday spirit here on FA that usually puts me in such a pleasant mood.
and Up until recently I've been in a poor mood indeed, Thankfully this has passed and I'm back to... me I suppose.
Here's something quick that occurred to me the other day:

2. I've read my first book in over 7months and its a hobby I missed

A worthwhile timepiece
A new Fedora
A five-headed smoke breathing incense burner
A TERRIBLE pendant that I HATE with a firey burning rage. (A Saint Cross Dagger Pendant) It'll be gone soon enough
Another Trans-siberian orchestra CD with (in my professional opinion) maybe 5good songs on it
This, that, and the other thing blah blah blah hoopla and doolaly...
Sorta tired of everything living right now. Except the Furs of FA. I never have issues here. (excluding one incident)
That aside I DID NOT finish the story I wanted to finish in time to post here so I'm hoping to get it done by New Years, this seems plenty reasonable since I have NOTHING happening for.... awhile? [Lost train of thought]

The Holidays find me...
General | Posted 15 years agoTied up with tinsel. Not even joking. Long story short, I didn't put much forsight into dressing this morning.
Honestly though It doesn't feel like the holidays, does it?
Other than that I intend to be cranking out some short stories in the next couple days. No poetry, this last month or so I haven't been feelin' it. Probably due to having been getting WAAAAY too much sleep, or maybe I'm not reading enough... Hell, I don't know.
"Christmas" schedule:
Thursday: Some blasted family picture with my step-mother's side (I think)
Friday: This would be.... christmas eve? Right... Hanging out with my super amazing Dad
Saturday: Dad's house for Christmas in the morning. Then out to my Grandma Birkholtz for christmas. THEN to helen's for christmas.
Sunday: Browsing FA all day. Maybe some Mabinogi or Vindictus.
Monday: [Insufficient information & motivation to even guess at plans]
Tonight will be mostly for just typing.
Oh, and be careful if you plan to traipse around in christmas lights. I was walking around in lights yesterday, went to sit down and a light jabbed me in the ass. Really uncomfortable just For Your Information.
