Posted 8 years agoI guess I should say I lived in Arizona from February through June, going to trade school. I'm a certified guitar maker and technician now! I'm working currently as the repair tech at Guitar Center in Dublin, CA, and enjoying it. Uhhh…. Arizona was hell. Glad to be back in the Bay Area.

Regarding the drama over FN
Posted 9 years agoOkay, people, let's get one thing crystal clear to start this rant. IN NO WAY AM I CLAIMING TO BE IN SUPPORT OF OR AGAINST THE CONTROVERSIAL TOPICS SURROUNDING FURRYNETWORK.
That said, let's begin. There are two topics I am seeing brought up frequently about FurryNetwork, and those are bestiality and cub porn, and I'd like to discuss how neither of them should matter at all to anybody who wants to make a fuss about them.
On the first topic, bestiality, I have this to say. I do not know much about the one FN Staffer's stance on it, but I do know that he recently closed down the reptile forum because it had become less about reptiles, and more about zoophilia, supposedly due to lack of supervision. While this doesn't clearly state wether or not he is into bestiality, it does show that he isn't comfortable with a site he runs being used for that. Either way, that site is not FurryNetwork, and the bestiality thing therefore has no effect on the quality of FN as a furry site.
On the second topic, cub porn, I will say that I understand why some people believe it promotes child molestation, though I doubt it really does. For one thing, there are many people out there who like to look at shots/loli/cub art, yet are not attracted in any manner to real life kids. Also, for those who ARE into real kids, the artwork can be a safe outlet for the desires that doesn't harm or take advantage of real children. If somebody was going to molest a child, the cub porn is not causing them to be more likely to do so, as the desire to do so would have to be strong enough anyway to disregard the law, consent of the child, etc.
On a more general note, FN has provided us with a content filter. This allows individuals to blacklist art with certain tags, so that nobody has to see art that they don't want to see, without downright banning something, and thus ruining the site for people who DO want to see fur art of a particular theme. The people who take the mentality of “Well it’s still there, and that makes me uncomfortable” about something they can actively filter out of their experience on the site need to get over themselves, bcause then it ruins it for others. Their argument is no different than people who say “Well I don’t live near any LGBT people or ever see them, but the fact that they exist in other places is wrong and makes me uncomfortable.” When you filter the art out of your view, it has no effect on you, and therefore it becomes your choice wether to not you are still bothered by it.
TL;DR of it is get over yourselves, stop creating a fuss over things that don't affect you or the website, because you are using the same logic as the anti-LGBT folks we all hate so much.
Your opinions are fine to have, so long as you aren't forcing them down the throats of everyone around you.

Posted 9 years agoIn light of recent happenings, I am making sure my FN account is up-to-date with artwork and such that is on my FA. By no means am I "leaving" Furaffinity, but I am making sure I have an alternate site where my stuff is actually up-to-date, unlike My Weasel and Inkbunny accounts. I am anz100 over there, and definitely hope to see more people pop up on that site in the coming months!

BLFC report/reflection/letter to my friends.

What a fucking party! I mean, BLFC was the best con of my damn LIFE. Too lazy to tag pages, because y'all follow me anyways, but damn. I got to party my butt off with Baker, Chris, Motyxof, Lyric, and friends, Rotten Robbie was in on it as well. My new buddy Aycee stopped by the room for a bit, got to see my friends Artica and Sun, as well as Rad and Pie, hung out with Shale and Illford. While my friend Psi had to go back to the UK, I met Rick Griffin and Portzebie, and had an all-around rad time in full femboi attire at the dances. I made plenty of new friends like Ari, Evander, and Axton. Also, treated myself better than FC in terms of food and water, so I was not at all dehydrated, and did not get any con crud. What a fucking party! I mean, BLFC was the best con of my damn LIFE. Too lazy to tag pages, because y'all follow me anyways, but damn. I got to party my butt off with Baker, Chris, Motyxof, Lyric, and friends, Rotten Robbie was in on it as well. My new buddy Aycee stopped by the room for a bit, got to see my friends Artica and Sun, as well as Rad and Pie, hung out with Shale and Illford. While my friend Psi had to go back to the UK, I met Rick Griffin and Portzebie, and had an all-around rad time in full femboi attire at the dances. I made plenty of new friends like Ari, Evander, and Axton. Also, treated myself better than FC in terms of food and water, so I was not at all dehydrated, and did not get any con crud. Posted 11 years agoI love this fandom. Sure, there may be a bit more drama than I like (and I may have become the topic of some), but I've found a wonderful group of people that share a common interest and care about one another. In fact, furries are so friendly that people hug upon introductions, similar to when people outside the fandom simply shake hands. This was the case with several people I met yesterday at PacAnthro. They were all super-kind, and very willing to meet others, whereas when I was in school, people would tend to stick to their own groups of friends and not try to meet anyone new. This fandom has helped me develop so much socially, and continues to do so, and for that I am extremely grateful. It's come to the point where most of my closest friends are furries (you know who you are).

Posted 12 years agoWell although nobody really reads my journals, I like to post from time to time because I can. And what better to put in a journal than the fact that I'll be at my first ever convention this January. Finally, after four years of wanting to go, I will be at Further Confusion on Saturday and Sunday. Haven't gone before because of my parents, who, until recently, didn't know jack about the fandom, and are also very adamant about me studying for finals the weekend before (I always fake it). Frankly, they still don't know much about the fandom, and probably will never really understand it. But I digress. I shall be at FC, and hopefully meet a lot of cool people there as well! Perspective (PLEASE READ)
Posted 12 years agoSo today, I started my senior year of high school, at SRVHS, home of the Wolves. Sadly, last night, one of my classmates, Robert Orlando, died in a car accident. He was a passenger in a Honda Prelude, with two of his friends. Apparently, the driver lost control, smashed into a fence, and then the car got wrapped around a tree, causing Robert's death. I was friendly with Robert; he sat next to me in Precalculus last year. He was an extremely kind person, and would use class time to even help me study at the last minute for Spanish tests, since he already had taken the same test a few hours earlier. He was only 17 years old, and could have had a great life ahead of him. Instead, he died the night before starting his senior year. No drugs or alcohol were involved, so my best guess is that the car's speed was well above the speed limit of 25 MPH. I'm not 100% sure why I'm putting this here, but I am. It shook me up pretty bad when I found out who it was.

terdburgler's character, since it has the feminine curves of a Stratocaster body along with the thick, hard neck of a Telecaster. Also, the color scheme matches the character. My estimated date of completion is sometime around the beginning of March, but that depends on a few factors which involve my ability to exchange remnants of a walnut tree for a free fret dressing. I'll post pictures when I'm finished. I have a progress log up on a forum somewhere, but, since my last name appears on said forum, I'm not going to post a link until I feel comfortable with making that information more available than it already is.

I Fucking SUCK ASS at Trackmania, yet I fucking love the game. WHY MUST I SUCK AT VIDEOGAMES!?!?!?!?!?!?!? THIS IS FUCKING TORTURE!!!!!!!!!!!
