As I sit here, relaxing after a long night of work, a thought came into my head about cliques and how they shape individual as well as communal behavior. We all have seen cliques in any shape, as well as maybe been a member of a so-called "clique", but the one communal group that lots of people believe is non-cliquey is the furry fandom. This fandom "believes" in this communal interest, in which has many subgroups (art, fursuit, photography, dancing, etc.) that we all belong too, but in the big picture are a cohesive social group. This got me thinking, this has to be the biggest irony in the world. No matter how hard you try to deny it, there are cliques in the fandom(yes, this is a very general observation and everyone knows this) but what makes this ironic is, why do we say we are a communal social group but there are cliques in the fandom, and if you are not apart of this so "clique" then you are looked down on and often ignored. What makes it even more ironic, are the people in the fandom who say they are not cliquey at all or that they are not "popufur", but they are usually the ones who are the most cliquey. Weird to think that, huh?

Today is the day that i was brought into this world xD Pretty much means imma 22 years old now!!!!!!!!!!! some may be asking what imma do for my birthday, well imma dance, dance, swag, dance, dance, chill, swag, oh and throw some SWAGSTACKS for my dancer homies!!!!!!!!

Well with this journal, the ending of another AMAZING con!!!! AC2012 was probably the best con that I have gone to!!! There were soooooo many experiences, soooo many moments, soooo much love from the dancer community, and soooo many new friends and got to connect with old ones. SO i will try to not make this recap toooooo long. Sooooo here we gooooo!!!!!


Thursday

Well besides having my original flight to AC, moved back to a later flight, i was still able to reach AC in good time. Gotta give a quick thanks to  ashfall101 and  stuntcoyote for picking me up from the airport. without their generosity i would have been stuck at the airport xD when i got to the Weston, i was blown away from how many aminulz there were running around being all cute and derpy like. The only negative aspect of the whole con, was having to stand in line at the elevator....tooook way tooooo long. After that i shortly met  CometTheWolf who almost didnt let me into our room, but i think that is becuase he did not know who i actually was xD but i wanna give a big shout out to Comet and  WolfpupTK you guys were amazing roommates, as well as putting up with this derpy husky!!! Also thanks for being there to talk, you guys were amazing *hugs ya both*

Friday

Well friday was filled with soooooo many things, from random suiting throughout the hotel, but also had such an amazing experience at the dance cyphers. There were soooooo many amazing dancers and it was an amazing experience to be able to dance with such a talented group of individuals. Later on that day, there was the LFO Dance Panel, in which gotta give made props to LFO for hosting such an amazing experience.

LFO FLOOR WARS!!!!!!!!!!! This was the most intense dance battles I have ever had the chance to be apart of!!!! From the first to the final battle, each dancer brought epic amounts of energy and spirit to the competition. Mad props to  Anthro_Fox for winning it, i am glad to have seen the final battle, because if you didnt well you missed awesomeness!!!!!!! Also got to give a huge shoutout to  The_Remix watch out for this guy, cause he is one hella tight dancer and a great guy!!!


Wanna give a shout out to  arius  xthedogx for letting me go to dinner at the most amazing Belgian pub ever!!!!!!!!! you guys are amazing friends!!!!!!

Also dancing in the streets with Atsu and Ikato was hella fun until the cops decided to be hella salty and kick us out of the street.


Saturday
Saturday was filled with many precious memories that words cannot describe. From the heart to heart talks with some really close friends as well as with Comet. There was also a very special dinner date with a certain special sheppyyyy *blushy wags* that was my number one highlight of the con for me <3333

Sunday

OMFGZ!!!! SUNDAY was the most epic day of the whole con.....ACDC: Anthrocon Dance Competition!!!!!
Though this being my first AC, after going through the prelims on Friday, which I gotta say; it was filled with some very tough competition!!!! Everyone that attended it brought their A Game. I gotta give a shout out to  Taiko_Shepherd MAAAAD PROPS, all i gotta say, is MFF Dance Comp better watch out cause this g-shep can dance!!!!!!!! Also it was soooo awesome to finally hang with  DiggyRoo Kalypso, Feles, and was awesome meeting  badger_c (even though he is a brony :p) and getting soooo wasted! <333

AC DANCE COMP!!!!!!! Gah i was soooo happy to make it to the final stage, along with 20 other amazing dancers, who always inspire me to be my best and make me love the dancer community. No matter what the standings were, each dancer brought soooooo much flavor and energy and hella SWAGSTACKS to the dance comp that I am soooo glad to have shared the stage with each and everyone of them. I wanna give a big shout to the top three placees: 3rd Place  Doryuu ~All I have to say, is that everytime i watch you dance, there is soooo much passion that you put into your dances and i am always in awe of your talent, you are truly an inspiration to me in soooo many ways <33333333, 2nd Place  SkyRyd3r ~ You have such an amazing bag of tricks, every dance you bring something new to the floor that makes my jaw drop and 1st Place  Atsu_Faux MAN YOU ABSOLUTELY KILLED YOUR PERFORMANCE, and your suit is sooooo cute :3 your an amazing dancer!!!

Also there were two performances who should def get some major credit!!!! First to  Ikato your performance was sooooo fantastic that I cannot say how awesome it was!!! you brought sooooooo much swag that it blew everyone else's including my own swag out of the water, i am sooooo glad to call ya my SWAGGABRO!!!!! and the second performance was to a very great friend/dancer/pup, gotta give mad props to  Blue-Ferret YOUR PERFORMANCE WAS SOOOOO EMOTIONAL THAT IT BROUGHT TEARS TO MY EYES!!!!!! I am soooo glad to hang with ya and get to know ya more!!!!! Your a truly an amazing individual, and i miss mah derpy dawgz!!!!!!!

Well I am finally home from my trip to the northern land called Canada!!! I have had sooooo much fun being in Canada, it was a much needed vacation!!

So to recap:

Tuesday-Wednesday
After flying for six hours, i landed in Detroit, in which i met up with the ever so aweswome  bashley1991 and  Indy5brad. We then started our drive northern! The drive up was filled with alot of derpiness xD Without getting too heckled by the border, we made our way to Brampton, in which we stayed with  Duskwhitewolf and  pyhrra as well as  komm-wolfgang. We had an awesome afternoon in Downtown Toronto, and I just wanted to say I <333333 POUTINERE!!!! It is soooooo goood!!!!!!! Also LCBO definitely took most of my money this weekend :p We also went bowling, it was awesome to meet  keagan  BastionHalcali  Raven-Wolf and  Zazin Then after drinking at the bowling alley....what to do??? DRINK MOAR!!!!!!!!!!!

How does one recap an awesome( well besides some issues with security having power problems) con?! There are sooooo many of you that I met new and old that it would take soooooo long to name everyone, but I love you all soooooo much <33333 thanks for making this derpy husky's first Canadian con a great experience. I fursuited alot, which was a great thing! There was sooooo much that happened it is sooooo hard to put every experience that i had. Met sooo many new friends and reconnected with old friends.

The dances at the con were hella tight, much props to the DJs, though  Duskwhitewolf made me get heat exhaustion during his set. you know its a good set then :p

The only negative thing i would say about the con, was some security with one of my friends (not going to go into it) but just to say that there were some power hungry security people there, but haters gonna hate :p

So to come to a conclusion of this journal, thank you to each and every one of you that helped make FE a successful one and I miss you guys lots <3333333 cant wait to see each of you again sooon :3

Heya fellow fuzzies, Apollo here! Just wanted to write this little review about 2011

2011 has been a year in which many good things happened in my life. I have been able to create new friendships in which I hope last for many years, as well as tried to strengthen the friendship with my other friends especially those I only get to see once a year, if that.

I have also accomplished alot in 2011. There are soooooo many accomplishments that I will never forget. One was the running and finishing of my first marathon, as well as a half ironman triathlon. I have also accomplished lots in my education, in hopes of graduating with my degree in anthropology in May *fingers cross*

I am also sooooooooooooooooo happy I was finally able to afford my fursuit!!!! It has always been a vision to bring Apollo to life!!!! Thanks to  gel she is an amazing artist with a keen eye to bringing fuzzies visions to life!!!!!!!!!

There is sooo much that I was i could have done in 2011 but I will certainly make it up in 2012. Some of the things that I wish to accomplish in 2012 is( yes it will be bullet point :p) :

-Hang out with my friends who i rarely hang with
- Create new friendships
- Suit a hella lot more ^^
-Graduate!!!!
- Go to Canada in March!!!!!!!!
- Qualify for the Boston Marathon and the Ironman Triathlon in Hawaii
- Reach the next step in my hip hop/ breakdancing
- and many more...

So to make this long story short, I want to wish each and everyone of you a very Happy New Year's!!!!!
Remember to always party 100% then when you think you cant party anymore, party an extra 100% harder!!!!!!!

Thursday was the day Apollo debuted himself at MFF. Even though I was a derpy husky and put it on backwards at first xD I was super excited to finally have it. So please go check her out!! After that I just ran around getting into typical husky mischief.

Friday I met up with as well as meeting these guys were awesome to see and hang out!!!! Besides running around in suit all day, and giving/receiving many many hugs, the con was only starting. That night I finally got to meet so many people that I stalk...I mean watch here on FA so it was awesome, the dance that night was unbelieveable!!!!! Dusk had an amazing set. His set was soon good that while dancing hard I ripped the butt part of my suit but gel was Able to fix it xD

Saturday was another day filled with awesomeness ranging from the dance tryouts to playing with an adorable puppy (who liked to lick paws). Being able to participate in the fursuit parade was the highlight of Saturday because I got to show everyone my suit as well as walk with some good friends. I wish we could have made the rainbow like we said we were going to do but couldn't find all the colors.

Sunday was an intense day because of the dance finals. Even though I was almost late to it I had a lot of fun competiting against some of Mffs great dancers. Wanna give a shout out to the 3placers, all three of you guys did fantastic. Nd it was dancing on the same floor as them.

So before this report gets too long and boring, I want to thank everyone who made MFF special and awesome. Whether it was hugs, dancing, or even trolling at 6am. This MFF I will always remember. I would list all the fuzzies that made it awesome but there are way too many to name, but you know who you are *hugs ya all* I hope that my next convention will be FE so hopefully I will see many of you there. If not I hope to see ya and hang with all my furry friends soon.

Heya fellow fuzzies!!!! Apollo here, just wanted to say that this MFF was probably the best part of this year!!!! Still haven't made it home yet but when I do I will have a full full post con report xD Miss everyone that I met. Also if you took any pics of this husky can you pwease share*gives ya big husky eyes* but back to the road ^^
