So I have been working myself back into actively writing and wanting to tackle some new projects. But all work and no play makes me a little indecisive about what I should be working on. I’m hoping my fellow transformation enthusiasts can help me out with that by taking part in a new tournament I’ve been working on.

I don’t want to get anybody mad at me, so this will be the March Mayhem TF Tournament. 64 entrants randomly seeded into a tournament bracket. One side of the bracket is a possible species and the other side is a TF type or trigger. I will post a matchup everyday right around 9 pm EST, alternating the sides of the bracket. Each match will remain open for 48 hours for comments or “bets” on the winner and the choice with the most comments will advance to the next round. I’ll take comments on my FA Journal post as well as my Twitter and Bluesky accounts, so you could in theory vote up to three times for your choice.

I will post my bracket on Thursday and the First Match of the tournament will go up on Friday March 1st. Eventually, I’ll make it down to a championship match of a species and a TF and I will write a story based on that result.

Is a corporate restructuring in order? New product launch? Industrial accidents or sabotage?

Just curious if there is any interest in some new Gene-Pool stories? If so, any suggestions or requests? What species or gear do you think I should start with?

Question for Northwest Furs or at least those familiar with the area. Planning/hoping to take a vacation there in July with designs on hitting up Mt. Rainier, Mt. Saint Helens, Olympic NP. Any recommendations on where to stay (general area), things to see or do, places/tourist traps to avoid?

To the home of Midwest Furfest, anyway. Which I could consider my home con since it is the one I have been to the most. Figured out my work schedule for next week so I will get to be off. But for fans of Transformation I do have excellent news.  furplanet is set to release a new anthology of transformation stories titled Altered States! Why am I telling you this? Because I actually have story included! I am really looking forward to seeing this book hit the shelves and I can't wait to read the other tf tales by authors that I am honored to have my work along side of. In addition there will be some excellent illustrations done by  Kuma

Altered States will be released in a few weeks at Anthrocon so if you are lucky enough to be going (unlike me) you can pick up a copy from the Fur Planet booth in the dealers den.

I know I have been a little quiet on the writing front lately so I hope you will like my contribution to the collection. And who knows, if it sells enough maybe we can transform that interest into a volume two!

So I did get out to see the new Star Wars today. Overall very pleased, an enjoyable popcorn flick. Visually incredible, probably the best of all the franchise in that department. Maybe a little predictable in the story department at times. Some good humorous moments. I imagine this may be a little like what it was like when the original Star Wars came out. There were some new characters I really didn't even catch the name of, probably none that will be on par with say Boba Fett for popularity. Of few of said characters seemed just tossed in so perhaps I will have to read some of the new books an/or comics to get some real insights on them. If you consider my emotional reaction to the movie a spoiler don't read this next sentence. I come away from the movie both excited and devastated. That's all I have to say about that... for now.

On the other hand, now very looking forward to Captain America: Civil War and Zootopia looks like fun.

So I had been hoping to make it to AC this year. That hope seems to be fading though. Working in the hospitality industry, Summer tends to be my crazy time. Still, I thought with the con's move to the week after the 4th of July I might be able to make it. I had gotten a hotel room and everything. Alas, my staffing situation seems to be going down the tubes and I will most likely not be able to get away for the weekend.

I'm a little bummed but I guess AC will just have to remain on the someday list. At least I can still look forward to MFF later this year.

Ok a quick poll question just because. I would imagine many of you out there were heavily influenced by any of a number of animated Disney movies and cartoons in forming your affinity for anthro, I know I was.

Of late there seems to be a burgeoning trend in movies of remaking some of those Disney/Fairy tale movies as live action films. Snow White, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and soon Beauty and the Beast (very curious to see what they do with the Beast).

So my question is this, if you could see one of your favorite animated films (Disney or otherwise) remade as a live action picture, which would it be and why?

I of course would love to see a really well done Pinocchio movie with an emphasis on the Pleasure Island sequence. Still has to be one of my earliest and most formative memories of transformation. I still remember getting chills the first time I saw it. I would like to get that feeling again from a live action version.

Ok so I am feeling a little frustrated by my lack of focus on production lately. I have too many stories started and I can't seem to stay on any one of them long enough to make any real progress. That's were the choice comes in. I am going to post three unfinished works up here and give the masses the opportunity to tell me what to finish.

The story with the most comments will be the one that I will work on to finish off first. So I you want to see me achieve completion read the stories and tell me which you want to see done. If none of them get any comments I guess I will just keep working on whatever the hell I feel like.

After a little while I will move the stories over into scraps or delete them or something.

Well most likely not seen as my journal is boring and I doubt anybody looks in here.

Anyway, in about a week I will get to head back to Texas and I will be making a stop for TFF. I've dusted off the meme from my last trip there and updated it just for kicks. Amazingly a lot of the answers are still the same. Is that dull or consistent?
